Warframes (And Weapons) Need Two More Mod Slots

I find it a bit stale and restricting that frames have 6 (by default) slots to customize. After your staple mods of shields, HP and choosing from the other must haves of focus, continuity, stretch, streamline, flow that there is little room to really express your build, if at all.

With all the new mods for your frame you currently have to sacrifice something needed for something more luxury. I suggest adding two extra mod slots for all frames, weapons and sentinels. It'll give us an excuse to use our extra Forma and it'll allow a lot more flexibility from our gear.

There are some pretty cool mods out there I'd like to implement but right now I don't feel its worth it.

There has been mention a long time back about a clan shrine which is supposed to allow all members to benefit from a mod.

Since the Dojo appears to be on the back burner again while Jupiter gets worked on, we will probably not see any progress for a while in the mod extending area of things.

Some people say it's too OP but in reality that two extra mod slot isn't bad and won't be too OP. About shrine, passive mod or any mod slot improvement they enjoy the actually system so i don't think they will do anything with it. Enough people need to say this is bad now and maybe then the later times. I also mention more rpg element and passives add to each frames with an own developement tree and general abilities which choosable not eat any mod cap points and you can reach once when you are 30 "after forming you can choose again".

I don't quite understand what you mean :P

as for passive mods, aren't aura mods passive between team mates? I've had my power recharging before without have the mod that does that equipped.. also the mod that shows where enemies are on the map.. I don't have that mod either yet I've had countless missions where I've had the red dots on the map to show enemies, is this just me? or?

I like the idea of having a clan dojo mod that applies to all players, it would allow it so all clan players could benefit from mods that no one is willing to sacrifice on their frame in order to have, things like quick thinking, handspring, and others.  As long as they ensured that players could stack these mods (have it show the clan mod equipped under the aura mod or something so that the player cannot have 2 max focuses for example) it would be very useful but still not overwhelmingly powerful.

You basically summed it up with this sentence.

Sometimes I wonder what the point is of having a mod system when everyone uses the same mods. DE needs to give us a real reason to use something other than the staples. Extra mod slots/capacity is not a bad idea, but I wouldn't mind if they went with something more radical... like removed the staples altogether and made them all auras. At least that way mods would provide truly unique bonuses, and you could still have those buffs to core stats that are so vital to all builds out there currently (and it would give me an excuse to not use Energy Siphon all the time).

Nope I mean't a skill tree like the aura now but the right side 2 passive slot which only contain one general skill-ability this can be for an example : speed, aiming, shot speed, hp anything. and a specialised slot for frame which contain abilities which is fit to the actual frame maybe the resistance mods and some ability improving mods which improve one of the 4 skill.
