FIXED by MENU option | minelayer [change] - quick cast action/hold to cycle

Vauban rework is still new and people are testing.  Some still disappointed and some happy. 

HOWEVER, please make the use of minelayer the quick button instead of cycle.  It would make his use much more streamline to not hold the button down to cast, but rather hold to cycle.

A simple but very important fix to keep him moving in battle.  I will find cover to cycle abilities but I need the mine to work as soon as I hit the button.

There's an option in the menus that says "Invert Tap/Hold abilities". That may be what you're looking for.

Happy to be of service. IIRC it was added shortly after Ivara (Quiver was the first ability to have multiple selectable modes). As far as I know it affects Quiver, Minelayer and Reservoirs. It may also work on Thermal Sunder but I haven't checked.
