Add bind for Melee Mode

Recommended Posts

In Melee 2.0 there was a button we could use to swap to melee mode.

For me it was Mouse Wheel Up, where my Mouse Wheel Down was used to switch weapon

I read that right now you can only switch to melee only mode when you hold the switch weapon button.

Since I'm using Mouse Wheel Down, this for me is impossible and would like to have the option back to bind the function to my Mouse Wheel Up again as it was in Melee 2.0.

Since the introduction of Melee Phase 2(I think the 4th melee iteration is called) I have not yet been able to successfully use Melee Only mode and I prefer to not having to rebind my switch weapon to a keyboard button.

I'd like to see a extra Keybinding for it too.

Holding a button to switch to melee only during a fight...that doesnt feel like it should work like that...thats not the "flow" DE told us so much about with the new melee

Add? You mean bring back?

It's funny half of the work DE has to do with melee rework is restoring melee 1.0 stuff they accidentally butchered.

true, and I'm not sure whether this is funny or sad

it actually makes me feel that they have no idea what they are doing

is this really not going to happen?

QoL that was available before in Melee 2.0 is now not re-added?

There one more, currently if we bind heavy attack to other key than doesnt bind to anything, if we not in melee state, pressing the key will not trigger heavy attack
