The Galatine Is Too....

People wanted a real looking 2h sword. Pretty sure 2h swords in the medieval age were that large.

[citation needed]

Seriously. That sword in-game looks like it is about 7 feet long. Maybe 6.

The biggest sword around, the Zweihander...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zweihander

Had blades "up to" 180cm (5.9 feet).

This thing looks to be about 6.5-7 feet long, depending on how tall you expect a tenno to be. Assuming the Corpus Crewmen are standard human size (5.8''), this thing could easily be 7 feet long.

The thing about this sword, though, is that you're supposed to be doing parkour, and you're supposed to be ROLLING with a giant hunk of steel on your back.

That never seemed to be a problem with the warhammer or waraxe that we got.

Can't imagine realism would allow us to roll with those on our backs.

yeah, they were laying in the pocket

where do u think 1.80m long sword is can be stored by 1.75m high man?

Carried by hand, in a sheath. Or while not used, by their scarce, but not on the back.

I know this isnt possible to do in warframe, but i thought about some kind of folding mechanic.

yeah.... we have hammers, axes, staffs, scythes, pole-arm/spears, and another 2 handed sword (gram)....i don't think parkouring is going to be an issue.....

copypaste wiki on zweihander: "Consequently, it is not carried in a sheath, but across the shoulder"

and across the shoulder it's still sticking out and poking everywhere

we also need to carry a rifle somehow with 2 hands here

We can now start arguing about who gave this information... defninately not the guys that most used it (medieval people).

And nowadays, humans are bigger than these days.

But i guess that wouldnt help anyone. Thanks everyone for your opinions tho.
