You realize you need 3 crit mods for soma to be good, that means you have to sacrifice a lot of Elemental damage mods and you will also need an ammo mod as it eats ammo fast. So its not as good as you think. It may be best, but not by much.

... Are you kidding me? It dosent need elemental! Its a crit weapon! And it only needs two crit mods, hammershot isnt a must have, and with two v polarities unless you use a maxed out mag size reload speed zoom noise reduction and recoil reduction you will have space for ammo mod, lets see, serration? Lets say 13 points? Split chamber 15 crit damage+chance=18, you have 14 extra points WITHOUT considering the two v polarities, not enough space for ammo mod?

with polaritis you are gonna have 7+ on multishot and 6+ with serration so in total 27 extra points after making it damage higher then even braton prime,

Hammer shot is a must if you want it to be good, it increases your crit dmg by 180% and being a high crit rate that is like a 180% more damage to base.  So its a 25% damage increase why would you not have it?

The only enemies that are hard to kill are the high armor enemies, and being that it does not ignore armor or have high accuracy its not nessasarly the best.  I pretty sure Torid would be better, or even boltor for damage that counts.

I'm eager to see how badly they're going to F*** up Nova.

Also, it was already discussed that they won't nerf Soma, and I believe it was Scott who said that the Soma was fine. It was somewhere in livestream fourteen if memory serves.

aye, he did say that they would be giving it a higher mastery level.

that said, i do think they will likely nerf it a bit in the near future... unless all the hype around it dies down to tolerable levels.

People were hyped up to nerf: Dual ether, Kunai, Despair, Vandal snipetron, Acrid, Akbolto and a few others. DE ignores the cries of nerf for weapons and at this point I wonder why people bother asking for them. The fixed wraith within an hour or two as soon as they realized they gave it more critical chance than intended, but they do NOT nerf weapons they have said are working as intended.

So DE made nova that was referred as an op frame, then, acrid, that is op as hell, then soma, once again op as hell, and now galatine, besides nova being kind of with some other frames in terms of tier de has made the weapon to create the perfect player for endgame, and weirdly they made it un questionable, since none of this weapon really has another weapon that can outpreform it in terms of dps and scaling with mods, what do you guys think of that?

Its called tryhards.

That's because as soon as this is flagged as BETA - People have all the right in the world to complain due to the game still not finalized.

I will wait and see how many butthurt threads will pop out on the forums when WF is finally released.

If WF every goes out of Beta.

I think Galatine is a terrible weapon.

And after it's released they have all the right in the world because it's meant to be a "finished game"? Your post is backwards, Beta is for constructive feedback, post release you can complain all you want.

but Strun Wraith is better than Soma

Strun Wraith was a reward for an event and as such it's not remotely as wide spread as Soma is... Pretty irrelevant there.

I don't get the butthurt against the OP, it's a pretty good question (even if "run-on") that combines many threads into one issue that's probably the biggest issue with the game right now... If anything be mad no one joined them up till now as they're all the same issue.
