Cant Heavy Melee if you dont have melee equiped or in hand

Was just wondering if this is a bug or is intended doesnt make much sence if it is intended.

It is intended, and it does make sense. Heavy attack is melee's 'Alt-fire' - that button is used for Alt-fire on your if you have a gun out, and used for Alt-Fire on your melee if you have your melee out.

Theres a heavy melee only button tho why not be able to just press that and it puts your melee in hand but the swings a heavy

I guess gamepads have it on the same button, so maybe because of that.

No there isn't? Middle mouse, by default, activates heavy attack. Middle mouse, by default, activates alt-fire.

You can hold the melee button to perform a heavy melee, see if that works.

Pretty sure you can hold E to heavy attack.
