Cronus level reset, but upgrades retained

Here is a photo of my cronus. For some reason, its level has reset while retaining the unlocked upgrades. I'm thinking this was the result of gaining skana prime. There doesn't seem to be any harm, but it's weird none the less.

Edit: Okay, I've found some harm. When I leveled the cronus, I didn't gain an skill points. I'm assuming that I won't gain any skill points until the sword is past its original level.
