When it comes down to things, they will make the decisions that is best for the games whole picture. What will keep around the most players over all, what will keep most happy. What will bring in more profits to help them to continue to provide us with this free game and it's seemingly content with no end. They had big visions, but sometimes those visions don't play over well with certain groups of people and then you have people that complain about a game being this way or that. And if that group that is complaining about this or that is in the majority control over potential profits and the life and community of the game, they will more than likely make that change. A lot of the veterans want that sand box complete immersive game that has so many different paths to go down that it is mind boggling. But does that make sense to have for keeping a new player around who is already confused by the fact that it can be overwhelming to start the game if you don't have any form of guidance? Games now a days are streamlining everything to make it easier for players to play rather than having to fiddle around in the dark. Games appeal to the newer nature of a lot of gamers who just are not as involved in making detailed decisions.

I dont think you've ever actually played a true sandbox if you think WF is a true sandbox. Yes WF has a sandbox approach to it, but that is not the same as a true sandbox. We cant build things, we cant explore things, we cant settle where we want, we cant approach a mission in more than one way, we cant circumvent set quest objectives, we have no impactful choices etc. The sandbox in this game stretches to personal goals, that is it. So it is a game with sandbox elements.

Also PvP happened to PvP, it was bound to fail the moment it came out the door. Raids will also never be a thing in this type of game. Several others have tried and failed and decided to stick to what fits small scale co-op non-MMOs like WF, which is small group co-op content and not raids.

As for the others, we just recieved disruption and the lich system this year, those are new modes. No idea what you refer to with game and market balance since DE has no say in the player driven market. Story driven quests were too costly for what they achieved. RNG can be fun and lately it has also been reduced greatly (see Gauss weapons, Gauss, Grendel, Hildryn, Wisp, Amalgam Mods aswell as the new resources).

It hasn't really changed. Random reinforcement schedules lead to difficult to extinguish behavior patterns. You see this in all game featuring a strong loot basis.

Still there, but takes time to do. This hasn't changed. In fact, in the early days we didn't even get that. Instead we got assorted text or audio based tidbits of lore--which still appeared only rarely.

Wasn't aware there ever was any. Caveat emptor when dealing with others. This applies to all games.

Still there. See number two above. Also, keep in mind DE is a relatively small dev team. Nothing happens all that quickly.

What? No clue what you're going on about here.

No one played them, so they ended up on the ash-heap of tenno history. That's the short answer.

Conclave is still around, but the community simply doesn't have much interest in it, so it languishes. Raids were...not well received either. Most of the community didn't partake. There are other games for that. Still, the idea of multi-group content isn't dead and we might see a re-envisioning of raids. How well that will be received is anyone's guess, but if it's relatively unapproachable it'll tank, too.

Kinda got that vibe, too. Nevertheless, a lot will look at it and some perspective is useful in determining how to view it.

Say you had a company that sold apples and everyone liked apples, they would probably sell a lot of apples.

But you have competition, a very saturated market. So you change your apples to be competitive with other apples.

So you add nuts to your apples but you find that most people don't like nuts on their apples. So you don't sell as much and you notice that, so you take the nuts away and add a sugary glaze and then you have one new group that doesn't like plain apples but likes them with the glaze so you start selling to a new group but you also have a mix of the old groups that purchase your new product. Then you have people that complain about the apple being hard to eat so you sell it cut up for them. You originally start out selling apples, that was your dream all along, but you never stray away from the fact that you want to sell apples, you just want the apple to stand out and be desirable among all the other apples.

It's all about adapting, but in the case of DE, they are probably trying to adapt to newer players without compromising their dreams as well for the game they want to produce for us to play.

Sorry for this starting discussion

We all play this games diferently

Don't be sorry, you had a concern because you enjoy Warframe and it has changed, in different ways for everyone. And you are exactly right, we all play games differently and we get different things out of them. Those of us who started this game in '13 or '14 have seen it change so much over time and some of us like me, still wish it was like the old version of warframe, where things required more patience and thought. Sure there are many big improvements I agree with and there are things I don't. I get it that the game inevitably has to change. It will continue to change, and adapt, and we at times have to adapt with things, and sometimes they will payout bigger to us in the end than they did in the beginning.

Thats overadapting not upgrading

Yea probably a poor choice of words. Should almost be both adapting and upgrading, depending on the situation.
