Defence Mission Mode

Hi all, i am not  a new player i have been playing warframe for more than 100 hours and this is the mine idea of defence mission.

 

I really like defence missions and waves but as i playing i feel that something missing and that is map progression in mission.

For example  it  would be great if we could unlock in the missions new area (with some collectable orbs drops) of defence so we dont stick in same place  over and over again.

I know we have mobile defence and survival, but these in mine opinion dont show very well progression within the game. Best example of that progresion is in games COD, ACM defence  modes when  we  fight against zombies or  aliens.

 

Tell me what do you think about this kind of gameplay.

Are you talking about being able to find or build bunkers & fortify?  In order to do that, you'd have to be able to move the pod somewhere.

 

Yeah in that option we could have mission to extract the pod but only from certan location within the map, and it makes scence cause  the ship for extranction cant land everywheare we want but only in certan area. And for example when we move the pod from area 1 to area 2 we must defend  it from swarms of enemy trying to get us and the pod. This  ads more dynamic  options to gameplay and  options  whitin the game for players to make.

As i am thinking it could work like this Tenno you can choose to wait for 15 min in this location cause  the ship cant get to you or  go to next area where the ship for extraction could get you sooner.

You know.....if we were able somehow load the pot onto a monorail car, or some other mobile structure, this would make sense.  It would be fun to have to ride along with the pod & unlock areas to get us to extraction.

 

THE PROBLEM here is that in that scenario, you'd be locked into a specific sequence, rather than having the option of riding out defense & having the option of getting out every 5 levels.  Since the primary function of this game is to grind so that you can grind so that you can grind.....endless defense is a necessary component of that process.

Yeah i know that endless defence is necessary but in this way we could make it more fun of beeing able to choose in which direction of area players will go right, left, middle. As i think about it  this dont necessary be the defence mode rather then some sort new scenraio mode for players to run.

<p>why not rename your idea to escort. making it a separate game mode from defence.</p>

 

This is probably the best plan.  Others have suggested transportation escort missions.  Another thing that has been suggested is transportation ROBBERY missions.  Basically the same thing, with a different objective.
