Nidus gains additional Ability Strength as he gains more Mutation Stacks.

it's not Strength so much as Virulence gains a Damage Multiplier equal to the exact value of the Counter, as does the Maggots from Ravenous.
not the same as Strength since it doesn't increase the values of Parasitic Link or the Healing bed of Ravenous.

Well for starters, your first ability should do more damage after some stacks, and i'm talking a signifcant number, obviously depending on your build's strength. The formula states that is not an increase in ability strength, but a damage multiplier.

I'm a Nidus main and besides the obvious unkillable trait that triggers after 25 stacks his first ability also starts hitting like a truck the higher the stacks go. At a full 100 stacks I can throw a larve and basically 1 stomp almost anything out of existence. Its the whole reason that he is the king of survival, as the enemies scale weapons hit a damage cap that make them useless, however frames like Nidus and Saryn get more and more crazy as our numbers stack which means we always outlevel enemies no matter how high they go.

that's.... a bit optimistic. Nidus is realistically looking at a max of 60,000 Damage per wave, or 120,000 if you're Linked and firing double. while very significant, at that 'Rate of Fire', it is roughly equal to many of the Spike Damage Weapons that we have in the game.
(and 45,000 per Maggot)
the majority of the strength comes from applying the Damage to potenially all Enemies at once, not the raw value itself.

Spores is a bit looser since it caps at 300,000 DPS, or double if including the Viral Status - but still comes back to the main strength being the potential to apply it to every Enemy.
