Yeah I want some inertia back too, the instant stop just feels wrong, in fact I actually preferred the overall feel of the old system more than this one... I just wish the old system actually had working brakes so we could slow down when we hit 'reverse' lol.

Afterburners have separate issues...I just love launching off at the speed of sound when I jump into archwing if I was running before hand...

Any plans on making converted Lichs who spawn to your aid less random? It is not very conventional to have a Kuva Lich equiped with a tonkor and go gun blazing during a sortie spy mission (speaking of experience). Had a similiar experience with the Zanuka hunter who spawned right next to me innside the hacking station triggering all sorts of alarms. I had no chance of winning.

Will this be adressed?

This. So much this. I've got several people wanting to play together in one group but being unable to do so at the same time. A fair few of them don't have their ships built yet and won't for a while. Besides, having 6-8 people on the railjack would actually be a good step to bringing back 'raids' as the ships certainly big enough for it! Especially given there can be a lot more going on

And this here is the reason I personally only used Itzal in Open Worlds, the cloak field ''Penumbra'' worked perfectly as a brakes button.

I am not sure what DE was thinking when they said that players only use Itzal on the Plains and Vallis because it had Blink, but that's just not true.
Itzal is simply the best designed archwing we have for landscapes: Highest Speed, to get around faster; Blink (and even now Arch Line) to get around even faster; Penumbra, because you need working brakes; Cosmic Crush, when you don't want to spend ages trying to pick up stuff off the ground, or have to exit your archwing; and a sleek design, 'cause FashionFrame.

Also there is the fact that I would be using Odonata more often...if the homing missiles from Seeking Fire actually did any damage to ground enemies...trust me, the best you will get out of them is blast procs.

TL;DR: Nerfing Itzal was not the right move! Should have buffed other archwings's combat parameters and let people choose; if they wanted max speed, or air support.

I am grateful dedicated block is back on melee again, but its locked behind a bit of muscle memory I had to remove... i'd much rather it just be added to quick melee, allowing me to block when I need to if things get hairy.

Also what kind of decoration limitations will we have with the Railjack. Can we place orbiter/clan decorations inside?

Yeah I used invisibility to avoid the annoying missiles that pop us out of archwing, penumbra was a great brake like you say.  Then there was the vacuum as well which is always handy.  Admittedly I did use blink for fast travel (and in combination with invis for riven headshots) but it wasn't the only reason I used itzal over the others.  Even the wingman ability was useful for cc if nothing else. 

I'd use the others if they actually had some 'useful' abilities, yes the crit shield on odonata is handy but that was basically it, elytron has missiles but like odonata they're pretty weak and/or awkward to use. 

I know some like amesha for eidolons but personally I didn't feel it was suited to openworlds. 

Like you say itzal blink didn't need the nerf it has been given, hell they could have given all archwings the same blink on the 'operator' button, but ultimately the reason we used itzal was purely because it was the 'best' archwing for openworlds. 

If like I've surmised elsewhere the reason for the nerf is railjack, then they could have added a cooldown just in those missions.

Will we see ships from allied factions? Or the refugee ships/civilian ships that get talked about occasionally? Maybe some mission types to escort a civvie ship to safety? Or infiltrate a hostage ship and rescue members of Steel Meridian or something?

ok so...

-are the atmospheric archwing changes meant to be this stiff? i used to love doing barrel rolls and flying my archwing upside down on the open worlds, but now everything is so rigid! are you guys still on the process of fixing the flow of the archwings?

-are there any plans on atmospheric arch-melees?

-will railjack (phase 2 or 3) launch with the new war?

There are a lot of unresolved bugs at the moment relating to newer content [Ropalolyst fight, melee mouse button not activating finishers, Bastille still letting enemies through, ], can we expect more emphasis next year for bug fixing and iteration of existing content? New content is nice but bug build up affects the whole game.

Will Chimera Prologue be made replayable? Helminth/Helminth cyst still has little point but alongside that can we expect a Helminth Kavat in the future? Can we expect a proper matchmaking and trade system that do not rely on chat text? Its nice to have the option but when looking for people with vaulted relics you cannot set up a match very easily without resorting to out of game options. Also will the Moral Alignment have a point?

Id like to see universal medallions added to arbitration's because I want to avoid adding more relics to my inventory while also diluting my ayatan sculpture pool. Is this possible?

This is not an Empyrean question, but is there a chance to rework amps? You have to spend months for farming and building high-tier parts for amps, but it appears that it does no actual damage, not even comparable to any regular primary weapon, and, more important, it does no real harm to the sentients.

This is frustrating... I was going to build amp 3-6-6 which requires time and lots of rare resources, hours of fishing, mining and stuff, but now I think I'll just keep my 3-2-3 and prioritize on getting more focus.
