Orbiter - All Stations-Table - 2 out of 3 Table-Modules?

Am I somehow missing a module here? If yes, and that one has been around somewhere, which one exactly? Or is this just cosmetic? Seems to be on all locations like this.

You shouldn't see it at all once you complete starter quests. It's just that the thing is bugged.

Normally when you play through the tutorial, the idea is you put the segment in that machine, and it retracts out of view.
unfortunately it seems the devs got the "filled" and "unfilled" states backwards.
