The new war has begun

strike your back out to the sun

the past is gone now, whats done is done

notch your arrow to the floor

defeating enemies, we deplore

seeking answers to questions, finding more

correcting errors from before

what was old is new

honor the few

for there is much to do

the new war has begun...

I was bored so I made this

*insert confused black guy gif here*

How does one notch an arrow to the floor, and since when did we hate killing enemies?

notching an arrow on the floor was used to stockpile arrows during sieges.

and we deplore our enemies, so we fight them.

I knew it! Needing to actually embed gifs is a lie, just vaguely refer to the one you want and it appears.

On the floor maybe, to the floor though?

Uh huh, so you Yoda'd it by just saying it backwards.

Well technicly its poetry so making no sense is kinda by definition right ?

I'd argue that a lot of poetry makes more sense than we give it credit for at first glance.

In all of my historical readings, I have never heard the term notching an arrow into the ground as "Notching" Sticking into the ground yes. Nocking an arrow is bringing the arrow to the string to be ready to draw. Soo......

I believe I heard it off of shadiversity or skalligrim, but I could be wrong.
