Zentimental
Thye may or may not have been brought up before; but, can anyone explain the disparity between that warframe says it uses, and what it's actually using?
taiiat
what the counter ingame shows, is the amount of [System] Memory Warframe is using. what is reported to Windows however, includes things that are outside of control of the game. this includes DirectX, and any other Libraries/API's that the game calls on to talk to. this is applicable for all Video Games. it gets even more interesting since Task Manager is always lying to you anyways and all Applications are using more Memory than it says they are because it only counts certain active states of System Memory, instead of all of them. DatDarkOne
To add on to what @taiiat said, the ram usage will also be different if using Steam vs Stand-Alone client. In general the Stand-alone Client will use less ram overall than the Steam client version.
M3tallius
If you're playing on anything newer than a TI-83 Plus Graphing Calculator, what does it matter?
