Empyrean is not good for this community.

People just want to fly around and kill stuff, not sit infront of a forge and just spam the craft button, so when you get a crew to make sure your ship doesn't blow up, it doesn't go the right way. I had some good squads, but also some bad squads where everyone just exits the ship and flies around in archwing while my ship blows up.

Another thing, enemies do too much damadge, every 5 seconds after repairing the ship, the crewships with ultra target seeking nukes put the ship right back into the "Critical, you have 50 seconds before implosion". Enemies need damadge nerf.

You might want to search the forums for similar threads to see how many people actually prefer the supporting roles over flying or shooting.

Well i can see its not been easy for you. With command specialisation in 2020 maybe this is gonna be easy for you.

So far all i got was tenno getting used to what was happening and after that it was always pretty good. If no tenno tells any tenno that they need to fix breach well nobody will do it ^.^

oh god not ANOTHER DAMAGE NERF! CMON MAN! I'm doing fine, everybody in my clan is doing fine. AND WE ALL START OUT THE SAME.

The damage isn't even that bad, I don't know about you but I find 1 shotting groups of enemies like drinking water is UNFUN. It'd just be dumb and redundant. At least right now we actually have to move around, try and hit out shots and actually survive and coordinate in order to not die, Just freakin avoid the damn crewships and take on the mini fighters first or something! I'm managing how are you not!?

If you don't have good loadout, just stay in the flippin ship and shoot stuff and repair, don't go jumping into archwing into space and die like an idiot...

Finally we get actual challenging enemies and people always go NERF NERF NERF.

Just.

Bloody.

GIT GUD

scrubbers always take away the little things I love, oh how I miss Manics when they first came out...

how I miss when DE didn't have to introduce 2 different varient of Orb Vallis Corpus Enemies....

People really do just love staying in a place eating mayonez and press 4 I suppose.

. . . really? The forge is on a three minute timer, so you're not just 'sitting in front' of it. It takes maybe five seconds to get to it, slap in what you need, and move on. I haven't had any issues with anybody not keeping the ship stocked, be it mine or theirs.

It JUST dropped! Why are you rushing through it? We need time to upgrade our ships, gear, intrinsics, and avionics. If you're being ripped apart, maybe it's because, again, it JUST dropped and nobody has any serious upgrades yet?

How to git gut in railjack :

 - assign duties to every crewman before partaking on skirmish ( pilot , gunner , gunner & saboteur , repair man )

 - pre-craft onmi toll ammo before embarking into skirmish , rockets to if you are able to use it

 - if you see enemy crew ship send saboteur to take care of it , it will be easyer when gunning it down

 - once enemys are clared take your time to loot the zone

 - once looting is done return to dry dock to save your loot

 - repeat from the first step

Here's a constructive idea since all the replies are above are as worthless as Hind rivens. One perk the command tree could have is Forge Loadout, where you tell your AI exactly what to craft in each slot. The whole forging mechanic is more like a mobile game than anything so it won't be much of a loss.

You have not contributed anything to this conversation, clarify what you mean.

Currently, you, me and everyone else is suffering the issue of starting from scratch. What will happen once you get some modules? When you put some points in the Intristics?

I just started to play this a couple of hours and had a really hard time going head on against enemies. But then I started to play defensively. I had to HIDE the ship and start going into Archwing since the guns are more powerful at the moment and boarding the crewships is better than shooting them down.

Then I got a few Diracs. Used them to upgrade my Hull and Armor Avionics, Upgraded the Grid where the +48% Hull was and made it become +72%. Got a few Instricts on Tactical, Pilot and Engineering. Started to use a defensive Archwing in Amesha to further protect the ship. Remembered I had Specters and I could throw them on areas on the ship to fight boarding parties, noticed I could shoot down those parties before it gets closer to the ship. I stopped caring if the ship was taking some damage to build some Revolate for the Omni tool...

In other words, I adapted and started to play the long game. It paid off. Only the initial wall was hard. Try and PUG for resources. There will be plenty in every fighter shot down.

I feel like this update will split the community. I haven't really played since fortuna came last year. Every single update seems to be gated now, wisp needs a new resource, hildryn requires completing the profit taker(which I didn't even unlock since I lost interest after farming the first 3 levels), and now empyrean requires a titanic amount of farming for you to play solo. I know, I could just find a clan and play it with other people, but I have a solo clan, that's just how I prefer to play the game, so far most of the content can be played solo. Not that this is the worst but I feel like a big part of the players are being put off by this, and might leave. I won't be playing Empyrean, just my 2 cents.

Add a tutorial and getting a clan is actually useful now.

Fighters do way too much damage for sure. They certainly need to be nerfed. It was always a problem when DE designed this game mode around micromanaging your ship and teammates instead of on an arcade experience of fighting in space. This mode, as it is, will not last. It will go the way of the Trials (Warframe's raids), where after a while, no one plays it because it requires coordination and micromanagement.

I'm just going to make a rail jack, and when we can finally fly this thing on consoles I'm going to test it out with my brother to see for myself.. And if it sucks, I'm just heading back to spy missions and the occasional Eidolon Hunt till either DE makes a smaller craft or streamlines Boaty McBoatface so it's not such a hot mess...

If it's something that we both like and will play then we'll keep playing, but I'm not wasting my time making friends and all that jazz because its really overrated and usually just ends with everyone playing something shiny and new when it comes out together... hence there's a reason why some of us play solo, because we are usually labeled does not play well with others..and there seems to be a lot of us...So we'll just see how it goes...Meanwhile I'm now building my S-class ship in NMS and sorta enjoying jumping between both games...with a little bit of Elite Dangerous in there...so no rush.
