Empyrean: Hotfix 27.0.2

Please bear with us as we triage and fix issues with the surprise Update! Warframe: Empyrean is indeed here! We will be working diligently to fix major game-breaking issues as they appear. Solid reproduction steps will help us greatly in appropriate forums! 

Railjack Changes & Fixes:

  • Increased the vacuum radius on Archwing and Railjack 
    • Railjack 200-250 
    • Archwing 25-50
  • Reduced the the hold time to upgrade Avionics by 50%.
  • Made the number of Fresnels and Nullstones that drop match the number dropped by other rare resources.
  • Doubled the amount of End of Mission Railjack commons and slightly increased uncommons.
  • Changed RailJack ‘Form A Crew’ button to also include ‘Select A Mission’ instruction
  • Railjack Avionics, Dirac, and Wreckage can now vacuumed by Archwing.
  • Changed spawning balance near end of Skirmish missions so there are fewer Crewships and Fighters as objectives near completion.
  • Reduced damage multiplier on Crewship engines.
  • Made Crewships more resilient to Archwing fire.
  • Fixed tooltips reporting the wrong Engineering Intrinsic ranks while trying to craft Munitions and Doma Charges during missions
  • Fixed Clients bypassing pre-death state of Crewships, causing them to die prematurely.
  • Fixed Grineer Railjack Boarding Party having some incorrect Melee FX. 
  • Fixed screen staying dark sometimes after leaving the Railjack customization screen.
  • Fixed camera getting suck on Reactor Room screen when closing Railjack customization.
  • Fixed unlocked Railjack Research showing when selecting ‘Hide Owned’. 
  • Fixed ‘Hide Owned’ not working for Railjack Research.
  • Fixed Railjack randomize customization so it only selects from owned items.
  • Fixed cases of not being able to swap Glyphs on Railjack.
  • Fixed BENDAR CLUSTER node missing from Earth Proxima.
  • Fixed Fire Rate random buff not applying on Wreckage Railjack Armaments.
  • Fixed being able to install multiple Railjack Avionics of same parent type, if you have an Avionic of a base type equipped (AKA two of the same Hull Wave Avionics).
  • Fixed Ramsleds not despawning between Railjack missions. 
  • Fixed being able to board the Archwing Slingshot in the Railjack while still in Hyperspace.
  • Fixed the Archwing Slingshot breaking for Clients if they tried to use it immediately after the Host.
  • Fixed Railjack malfunctions (Hull Breaches, etc) not being cleared on return to Dojo
  • Fixed a lingering fade-to-black when entering the Railjack from the Dry Dock.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred if you opened a locker before the Master Key Parazon Mod triggered.
  • Fixed Crewships not disengaging and warping away after an objective is finished.
  • Fixed Railjack HUD scaling not saving properly. 
  • Fixed Orbiter Star Chart not checking Intrinsic requirements for joining Railjack missions.
  • Fixed script error in Railjack Point of Interest weak point script after a Host migration.
  • Fixed a bug for Clients where spinning Pulse Turbine blades animation will look laggy.
  • Fixed a bug with electricity FX not appearing after Pulse Turbine cable destruction.
  • Fixed left hand clipping on Excalibur Zato idle animation.
  • Fixed script crash that could occur when a Crewship spawns.
  • Fixed script crash that could occur from Fighter Escort spawns.
  • Fixed script crash that could occur when Fabricating in the Dry Dock.
  • Fixed script crash that could occur from Railjack pilot and guns.
  • Fixed explosion sounds in Railjack not respecting sound sliders.


  • Fixed a harmless network race condition that could lead to a script error.
  • Fixed a number of network race conditions that could break the portal in Sanctuary Onslaught.
  • Fixed script crash that could occur from Rhino’s Iron Skin ability.
  • Fixed script crash that could occur from Energy Shell.
  • Fixed script crash that could occur from Nekros’ Desecrate ability.
  • Fixed script crash that could occur from Gauss’ Redline ability.
  • Fixed script crash that could occur from Mirage’s Sleight of Hand ability.
  • Fixed script crash that could occur from Wukong’s Cloud Walker ability.
  • Fixed script crash that could occur from Wisp’s Reservoirs ability.
  • Fixed script crash that could occur from enemies using Switch Teleport.
  • Fixed script crash that could occur from Fishing.
  • Fixed script crash that could occur from completing a Bounty.
  • Fixed script crash that could occur when fighting Vay Hek.
  • Fixed script crash that could occur when fighting the Raptor.
  • Fixed script crash that could occur from Vauban’s Minelayer ability.
  • Fixed script crash that could occur in the Disruption gamemode.
  • Fixed script crash that could occur from Hildryn’s Balefire ability.
  • Fixed script crash that could occur from a Grineer Scorpion enemy.
  • Fixed a script crash that could occur when dealing damage with Rakta Dark Dagger.
  • Fixed script crash that could occur when picking up a Convergence Orb.
  • Fixed script crash if an Ancient Healer tried to protect certain types of NPC
  • Fixed script crash that could break specific encounters on the Orb Vallis.

Thanks for the continued hotfixes. 


Could we get a button to swap our language of our chat/matchmaking servers regardless of our client language? It's not fun when you're not playing with the English client and you can't see anyone in any chat because most players are playing with the English client, a button to swap chat region (and matchmaking region with it) to "Europe" "North America" and others (like the English client) without being forced to change your launcher's (and client) language would be really appreciated!


Any news about how the universal blink could be changed? I'm pretty sure you guys got already a lot of feedback and reducing the cooldown and (maybe) making the range scalable of mods (currently no range mods benefits that much in archwings, really) or reduce it from 2.0x to 1.5x would be nice. It will still be quicker and would allow players to move better to avoid shots, like the old Itzal Blink used to be. Archwings should be faster, aren't they?


And please remember to players to bind their sprint and tactical menu buttons in the railjack key settings, they are not bound by default.

Thank you for the hotfix.

Any chance Arch-Guns could return to their previous state in atmosphere? We are in the vacuum of space. It's already bad enough that Itzal is bad, but now many weapons are rendered useless due to the range fall-off and/or annoyance of projectiles.

Can the Quellor be buffed? It has some of the worst stats for a weapon to date with a low fire rate, base cold and impact on charge, an alt fire falloff close to Euphona Prime, and a whopping 4 second reload. A Mastery Rank 12 lock on this weapon is quite honestly laughable with how horrendous its stats are. Acceltra is MR 8 locked, Battacor MR 10, Prisma Grakata MR 11.... There are many choices that are lower than this new weapon with more desireable features. A charged shot that deals impact and cold will not compete with a Battacor/Opticor; not to mention the Quellor's charged shot falls off in 18 meters. If the stats don't change, this weapon should be Mastery Rank 6 locked, not 12.

Other stuff, that needs fixes/changes/infos:


Revert the Arching blink change and give it back to Itzal.
Make archwings instantly lose their inertia if you press the backwards key ("s") and it would have been such a good system....
Now it´s slow, clunky and nearly unusable....


We need a favourite system for weapons/warframes and maybe arcanes:

Is it intentional that only feminine operators have dreads attached to their emissary suit? Maybe make into an auxiliary slot:



While you are fixing the operator appearance in the profil can you add the possibility to swap the configs, too?

We need an option to sort out vaulted and not vaulted relics. There are so many that it´s getting difficult to select the one I want during the select screen (I like running unvaulted relics public and vaulted ones with friend/clan members). Same goes for the relays ducat stations, I don´t want to turn in vaulted stuff and I´m always struggling to remember which one are aviable and which ones are not:

Waypoints are all over the place but rarely on the doors, the whole waypoint system needs a rework... as soon as you play something faster like Wukong, Volt, Nova etc. the waypoint are often to slow or messed up completely and now it´s even happening to "normal/slower" frames:

Nightwaves Ascendant Mission doesn´t count as client:

And after another arbitration change i wonder: How far away is the ESO reward system rework?
They were introduced as "reward for challenges", but except for the bleeding body one they all ended up in a pure RNG hell.
I´ve run far more than 100 eso runs and got no blazing step ephemera and someone I know got it from his 3rd run, feeling so bad for his luck he even offered eso runs to me...
And some have an even more unlucky rng:

Eidolon spawns are still buggy despite being ~2years old:

With the new U26 many rooms are now suffering from a harsh lighting transition, especially if they have small differences in the colours/tones that are used on that tile:

Since U26 the energy bar is missing the blue background, thus making it really hard to notice your current energy:

On multiple different amps the scaffold is clipping through the palm of your operators:

Are we ever getting the operator only spy?
It was teased back then when we got the feedback changes for Nightwave:Series 2, but as far as I remember we never got the mission:

Can we have the old indoor Index map back to the rotation? The new one is to dark and has to many obstacles which lead to getting oneshot by enemies you don´t even see:

Jupiter tilesets often don´t trigger Novas portals and that since the Jupiter rework:

Update is a Bugfest. I hope that this Hotfix will help a bit. 

It's barely playable at the moment.

Why are all Archwing Weapons Projectile based now? I have hard times killing enemies, because of this. 

Also Archwing feels too slow. Just revert Itzal's Blink please or reduce it's Cooldown. 

P.S. Empyrean is all about space fights. So what about making Mods like [Furor] finally useable? Plus 10% attack speed for Arch-Melee's is kinda weird.

I basically feel like i play a game with cool ideas but there isnt a part that doesnt have issues, everything has something that breaks. 

Seriously, this update made me crash the game 3 Times in 30 minutes, once only because i died in a ship i couldn't leave because of lag and doors that didn't open, and game despawned me below the map. After using famous "/unstuck" i warped outside of the ship, we made it to the dojo (at least i was told we are in) but there were still previous mission pickups, that made the game freak out. And that is only one bug out of many

And why can't we pick up everything in archwing while playing Railjack missions? I have to mark my pilot a mod that is 10km away just because we want to split to collect resources faster, doubling the sweeping area. AND NO he has to get back to me those 10km, even though i could pick this myself in AW. That's just stupid.
EDIT 2: ok this one is actually taken care of, nice one.

Not even to mention:

no-hitscan space things, I dunno what was behind this decision, and from logical point, air has friction, which make projectiles slower, not VACCUM SPACE??!!

Melee broke to the point conclave suffers repercussions of your decisions for a month already without addresing a single problem. THIS IS FROM U26:

That's nice and all, but why is it even a matter of picking things up at all? Like, do you think having to fly around for ten minutes after the mission ends picking up drops makes the game more fun? If I designed it, I'd just make the loot appear directly in inventory, no picking up needed. If you absolutely insist on this, I assure you you can add another zero on the end of those numbers without doing the game any harm whatsoever.
