Railjack and Manual Repairs/Fires/Hull

You are a lion, a hungry, mighty lion that has just been placed in a pen with a dozen young, juicy zebras.

...is what running around the ship repairing it with space shaving cream feels like. We can fly a ship, man the guns, board ships, fly around in an archwing... What do you HAVE TO DO instead? Put out fires and patch the hull every minute.

DE... come on...

In an idea situation you would have 1 pilot, 2 gunners, and then the last guy pulling engineering duty and clearing out invaders. You can switch this around to 1 pilot, 1 gunner, 1 gunner + engineer and the last guy is in archwing dealing with enemy ships.

I will admit, the....constant nature of all the hull breaches, ruptures, fires is...annoying. Honestly DE 1 pilot, 2 gunners with one occasionally backing out to handle invaders with the last guy going archwing is the "ideal" I'd like to say, but with how much stuff can and does hit the ship you're basically always down a gunner as they have to run off to fix three holes, kill the invaders, and cook up more revolight, and the other guy has to go archwing to kill the crewships because they are so tanky otherwise...

It's a vicious cycle problem more than it is a gameplay problem. Fundamentally there's nothing wrong with having to do some on-the-fly repairs, but there's a reason it's so frequent...

When you shoot down enemy ships, you aren't taking damage. When you aren't taking damage, you don't have to repair the ship. When you don't have to repair the ship, you can spend time shooting down enemies.

When you take damage, you have to repair the ship. When you repair the ship, you aren't shooting down enemies. When you don't shoot down enemies, they will park in a big sphere around you and keep shooting you. When you take damage, you have to repair the ship...
