Like does each clanmate need to build their own ship? Or is the cost for each section shared

Also note that you can't use materials from the clan vault when repairing the parts for your railjack.

Pretty sure only one person in a squad needs the ship.  Everyone needs to have archwing, but only one player needs to have the railjack.

If that's an option.  Not sure it will impact progression if you run the missions without it though.

Building a Railjack is an individual sport.  They only see the one they have built in the dry dock.  

You DO NOT need to own a railjack to do railjack missions.   You WILL get rewards and resources from doing Railjack missions if you are just part of a crew.

For the truly newb...if you dont have the resources or cant figure out how to get them thats a good indication that you should not worry about railjack right now lol.   Railjack is like another Cetus/Fortuna trap for newbs.   Sure you can go there very early on but chances are your not really ready for it.
