AzyWng Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 (edited) In the PS3 trailer, when Captain Vor shocks the other grineer man to death, the man says "Yi Yi Yi Yi Yi" before dying, as if he is an...an electric shock victim. Why not impliment this into the game? Fire Death Victims scream as if they've been set on fire. Which, yes, they have. Electric Death Victims make sounds like that grineer Captain Vor killed. Armor Pierce Death A loud cracking sound emits from the victim, as if their armor was smashed/pierced. This would not apply for robots obviously. Edited October 21, 2013 by AzyWng
Delta4575 Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Teeth chattering sounds can be heard from the victim, which slow down and eventually stop. Armor Pierce Death A loud cracking sound emits from the victim, as if their armor was smashed/pierced. 1: No thats way too cartoony, shivering would be better. 2:thats already in game when you gib the torso.
taiiat Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 killing things with Ice Damage already creates Ice'Splosions, what's more to want? :D the fire and elec ideas however, i like. just as long as they aren't too over the top. i know once in a while electric damage seems to get crazy loud and repeat continuously for a while upon death. probably a bug, but annoying nonetheless, since then i can't hear anything.
Won_Doe Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Teeth chattering sounds very.....cartoon-like 0_o
AzyWng Posted October 21, 2013 Author Posted October 21, 2013 Teeth chattering sounds very.....cartoon-like 0_o True, and Warframe just isn't that kind of game. Never mind that.
AzyWng Posted October 21, 2013 Author Posted October 21, 2013 1: No thats way too cartoony, shivering would be better. 2:thats already in game when you gib the torso. Sounds more like you tore them in half, not what I was looking for. Although I've noticed with the lex (modded with armor pierce and electricity) that if you headshot a corpus and the shot is fatal, their head dissapears and a "BLORCH" sound effect can be heard.
