ganjou234
After seeing Porphi's vid. I have to agree that we have to have musical cues for different scenarios. Boss fights Syndicate ambush last Tenno standing (when party is has no more revives) Low Health https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSle6BcrTwc It'll help with the immersion and probably make things more enjoyable... Uthael
About that video, I'd make some suggestions for anyone reading this topic: - Kela needs some "primal" music. Drums and sticks to go with Grineer laughs, chanting and cheering. Her entrance should cause a major crowd reaction, too. And we could interrupt a fight... Kick butts of some cannon fodder competitors fighting in the arena before we arrive. Here're some old WoW PvP themes. I linked 1:40. - Jackal needs more "tech" tunes in that rock. Here's UT, Asbestos as an example. - Tyl Regor was fine. But he needs some changes in his fight. Any invulnerabilities and other artificial delays where you can just wait for him to appear again should NOT be played with a pumped up music. Syndicate ambushes are too weak for the fight music. "Last Tenno standing" should definitely be a theme! Especially in Arbitrations. Might even make people want to try and revive instead of bail. Take Payday 2 as an example... I've heard stealth music, light action music (Rotations A, camping), combat music and epic drops and "oh sh..." music. Low Health is inconsequential. A minor inconvenience, solvable in a second in several ways. No change in music for this. Some games have different versions of the same music piece, with instruments kicking in and fading out, depending on situation. Examples: - FTL, Rockmen - Explore vs Battle - Super Mario World is a masterpiece example of this! The same tunes are playing in most levels. From the jolly and colorful overworld, over underground and aquatic to the spooky haunted castles. There's some goofy and primitive sounding drums when you're riding a Yoshi and there's a "hurry up!" version of of everything. Again... Same theme. Remastered for situations. Marvelous. Liches should come with a John Cena entrance. First couple of times, it would be lame. Then, it would get harder. And THEN, it would actually become difficult! With them REALLY posing a challenge and kicking OUR butts. So each time we hear their entrance music, we'd know what's coming and we can prepare. Opting out from such a lich would always be an option. Work against them behind their back to make the queen angry with them. She'd get rid of the lich. No weapon earned or resources returned, though. To everyone here: disect and quote this comment as you'd like. If music gets a rework, let them have as many ideas as possible. Absolutely agree with everything man. What would you suggest on SPY? Something to keep people on their toes...
