recovered consrvationist nightwave act wont complete

i have been trying to complete the nightwave act "conservationist" where you perform 6 perfect captures in orb vallis and it counted five of the perfect captures but then it wont count the final sixth perfect capture and i have now performed ten perfect captures trying to get it but it still wont count it. it is a "recovered" version of the nigthwave act but other than that i cant think of anything other reason why it would not work

Are you sure all the captures were different (sub) species and genders? Two (say) male sunny pobbers don't count as 2 captures, but a male and a female do, as weell as a sunny and a cave, or a pobber and a vrimink.
