ph12345 Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 I'm not too sure to put which one into my soma. Some people say the extra mag capacity is good while others say the max 90% fire dmgi ss better. Opinions please thanks :).
EganMC Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 Both. I'd say Wildfire if you had to choose. It can be very useful, and it costs 2 less warframe slot power.
Phoenix86 Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 For me it's Wildfire... Soma as a 100 rounds clip so it benefits from it a lot and the fire dmg is not so much lower (and consider that fire dmg gets reduced by armor atm and that the mod costs 9 compared to 11) Wildfire wins to me
Tei_S Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 Depends on the weapon and what your goals are. Sniper weapons benefit a lot more from Hellfire because of their higher damage, while DPS weapons benefit more from Wildfire because they tend to have larger magazines. Wildfire is also cheaper in terms of slots, as well, allowing DPS weapons to have more space for other element, crit, or utility mods. It also helps to know your enemy type. Using Wildfire when going into corpus missions is probably the better choice, because it frees more space (2 more mod slots!) for a higher level electrical damage mod. Meanwhile the Infested are highly allergic to all things hot, so either using Hellfire or mixing both would be better against them.
Darzk Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 Wildfire will, in most cases, grant better DPS. Hellfire will grant better ammo efficiency, although not by much. Wildfire is cheaper.
Bennyworld Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 I'd go for wildfire, but it doesn't really matter - maybe both, as has already been suggested?
