(PSN)deathstroke_dee
Is there any specific reason why this issue still persists? Is there anything i can do with my network to fix it . I keep losing all my railjack resources because of the Host migration
Turbo_Trotldyt_R-Zone_64
No funds for dedicated server setup. Also no funds for human resources who'd write fail safe code for any network issue. DE should offer monthly subscription for "Be a host, on DE's dedicated server, Only $9.999.9$$€" That would be one way. Other way would be by obeying this standard business practice: get friends to play the game, play together, agree who has the best gaming internet and let that guy host all games only. Or, don't play.
JackHargreav
This is why I like Railjack actually. Finally I can choose to be a host and I don't have to deal with that crap. I wish other game modes had this. Edited January 4, 2020 by JackHargreav
(PSN)robotwars7
a lot of people have mentioned the Option of being able to decline hosting, so that those who know their connection is weak and can't do much about it (living in a rural area or w/e) can at least pass the torch to those with a stronger connection. there's still issues though, like who would host if 4 people set to "never host" end up being matched? would it just be random, or based on who has the best Connection at the time? plus people could choose to never host, even if their connection is good, thus denying a host for people who need one. I would like this option. I would select never host in a heart beat. As for matching 4 never hosts, you could just have it so the match making makes never hosts join hosts instead of never hosts. So say, a suuuuper unpopular node only has 4 people trying to join it, and all 4 are set to never host, they can't join each other, the mission will proceed with each player in a solo session, and since they are set to not host, no one can join either; it would behave the same as solo matchmaking. (PSN)chubbslawson
This has been a problem since the beginning. They know that it’s a problem. They don’t care that it’s a problem or they would have fixed it long ago. We have to cut them some slack because they are working on the game breaking stuff , like blink and important stuff like that
(PSN)Hooligonzo
They don't even need to fix much of it, they just need to cash everyone out when a migration happens first, then try to reassemble the match, so nobody gets stiffed if the migration fails. Failed migrations feel bad and they make the game and DE look bad. Six years in and this is still a surefire way to kill a night playing Warframe. Hell, I'd have the Braton and Lato Vandals by now if it weren't for Host Migrations. Onslaught is filthy with the problem.
Morthal
We're supposed to be sent to our own instance after migration fails but that only works .01% of the time.

Dedicated servers, cross-platform account merges, and all the other QoL things found in other modern games. They have the game on 5 different platforms for god sakes....
