[Melee] Heavy Attack / Secondary Fire - request

This has been covered by so many threads already..
General consensus is, if we can have Hold to Heavy attack be optional,
and bind it to whatever else (like secondary fire) then everybody's happy.
Can't be sure why they haven't been able to accomplish this yet, but it's certainly well known to them by now.
I'd have to assume they're working on that, or some similar compromise.

Good to hear that they are aware. Heavy builds are so viable right now that it would be nice to use them without switching to full melee or being forced to use a normal melee swing first.

If it was me to decide, I'd make an option for heavy attacks and normal melee just like with bows: you hold melee attack - heavy attack animation (wind up) is being performed and some bar or a ring starts to fill up (like a bow charged shot). But if you didn't wait long enough and released the melee button - you do a regular melee attack. 

Quick taps mid air with aim glide , no matter where the camera is facing - air combos.

Quick tap mid air without holding aim glide - normal slam

Hold melee attack mid air (with or without glide) - heavy slam.
