I have the Acrid and It's pretty great and all, but I'm still debating if I should Tato/Forma it. It doesn't feel right being a semi-automatic.

decide? you don't have to decide, you can just do the math.

 

if it was acrid vs. an aoe weapon, then you might have an argument on your hands, but comparing dps of single target weapons is a mathematical exercise.

it would be OOP if they cange it to fully automatic,super duper OP its like 100x of soma with crit build

Acrid is in a class of its own. The only way you can kill anything faster is by one-shotting it.

Ok, put it this way, I avoid using my Acrid in most cases because it sucks the fun (challenge) out of the game.

also, the acrid is a giant wang that spits white goo at enemies, not a gun. Tenno do not fight with wangs.

Acrid has the highest single target dps if targets take longer than ~2 seconds to die.
