Plains of Eidolon hunting

I know this isnt a mission problem but it seemed most fitting here

 

Lately when I'd go out to track animals in the plains, a lot of the time when I press the "Track animal" button on their feces there would be no footprints nor an area marking the nest's location.

I'm writing this after getting the bug just happened to me 4 times in a row, so as someone who really enjoys this part of the game I'd be very grateful if this issue was fixed in the next patch, or maybe even hot-fixed if it's not a hard issue to solve
