Super bright, washed out screen.

Recently, (id say last month or so) i began having occasional missions where the game would appear extremely bright and washed out. No settings seemed to help and its not my monitor, tried other monitors, nothing changed, and friends games looked completely normal if i screenshared with them on discord. How to fix if anyone has had this issue?

Whenever there's blinding environment brightness people usually recommend turning down bloom or adaptive exposure. I never tweaked either, and the Index certainly didn't have this blown out look before. I'd like to know why too.
