Manic issues

I have come across the maniacs a few times, not actively hunting for them but they show up which I have been pretty stoked about since I have the smoking body ephemera BP and it would be nice to get the  ash systems. 

The last dozen times he has shown up I seem like I'm one shotting him, amprex with riven, gram prime heavy attack with riven, plague kripath with 200% crit chance and riven and his health drops to nothing then he dissapears?

Do you have to stay in the mission and actively search or how exactly does he work?

I don't know if you can one-shot them, but there's a chance they won't drop anything.

When you don't one-shot them, they just teleport around and return in less than 10 seconds, unless they get stuck somewhere.

Manics can cloak itself moves very fast, and can teleport. 

Mark it with waypoint, so the nemy marker will be visible, and you can track the manic.

There is a sound effect, when it spawn and when it dies.  

Saturn Caracol Defection mission. Move the first group to healer pod, wait there for 6-8 min (6 if you ar fast), a manic will spawn. Kill it, pray for ash system, extract the group, then yourself.

Drekar Manics don't drop Ash blueprints.
