Question

Posted

so one day i bought crimson dervish from a dude for 20 platinum.

just before i made this post i found out it was worth 10 platinum.

i am fired up over finding this out. What do i do now? How can i settle the score with him?

This is very funny, i almost sold to someone, he got disconnected and he kept declining my invite.

Guess what he offered.

There is no scam here unfortunately. You bought it fair and square from someone for a price you both agreed on. It sucks that you later found out that the price was lower, but nothing to do now. In the future, check Warframe.Market for prices before even buying something out of trade chat.

Not so much a scam, but the risks of a free market. Prices aren't truly ever set but have an average range that they are normally sold in. Honestly the best thing you could probably do is educate yourself on prices for products of interest before heading into trading again.

It's your fault for not checking the prices.
I could have given it to you for free for example, someone else could have chaeged 4000 p and there is always the schmuck than can fall for it.
It's a free market, check before you buy or sell.

P.S. Also a whole topic for 10p...wtf dude...

Free market my dude. Items are worth what people are willing to pay for them. If you were willing to pay 20p for Crimson Dervish, then the mod is worth 20p. There is no firm fixed prices for trades. A 10p difference is also so small that it really shouldn't be worth getting angry over. Hell, if I was trading for something worth 10p I'd probably give 'em 20 anyway; 10p for the item and a 10p tip. Also, I remember when Crimson Dervish was like 200p (that's two zeroes).

Locking.
