Using valence fusion on a 60% bonus weapon to change elemental buff?

Hi

I'm wondering if you can use valence fusion on a 60% buff kuva weapon to change its element, or are you locked with the element you used to get it to 60%?

 

I haven't found the answer so far, and I can't try it by myself so far.

I have yet to do it, but from everything I've seen and read it seems that you can. Plus the confirmation menu should show what is going to happen before you commit.

Here is a link to the update notes. In their confirmation menu it shows toxin to toxin, but i've seen other examples where it will go from radiation to electric...

Consider this toy scenario - 

• Kuva Weapon "A" has 25% heat
• Kuva Weapon "B" has 60% toxin

Fusing A into B yields a kuva weapon with 60% heat

Fusing B into A yields a kuva weapon with 60% toxin

Useful if the meta changes or if DE adds more potential elements in kuva weapons: farm a lich with the appropriate element and done, weapon respecced

i would think that the other elements will be exclusive to what ever the corpus equivalent of lichs ends up being.
