I'm no musician so I really don't know how to explain this in musical terms. Short answer, the sound effect of the note is inconsistant in length in the audio played.

The longer report the composite notes (like sky and water fret and any string) have long and short notes. Some are about 1 second long then cut, while others are 2 seconds long and make a long vibrating noise. Additionally single notes are alternating from the long and short on every button press instead of what is likely the intended effect where holding the press should make the long note.

If this makes no sense just say and I'll try and think of a way to say it otherwise.
