0 (NSW)MasterJ93
If you believe that someone is harassing someone else, then encourage them to ignore the player whose harassing them, or get them to report it (this is, of course, assuming that they're feeling harassed).

You cannot stop it. If you think people are genuinely bullying someone send your proof to DE. Note that if you waste DE's time you get punished.
0 kwlingo
Yes send report. If you cannot provide evidence it will come back on you, by sending too many report tickets without proof. Best of luck. Also if they are teaching new players how to play more effectively, that is not bullying. But if they are name calling or making fun of them yes, report. Don't report if they are the ones nuking entire maps of enemies and completing mission before newer players left doing nothing in mission. This is not a good enough reason.
0 actuallyVile
For me it's cause and effect...whether you're new or a veteran, if you're annoying, you'll get the annoyed treatment...if you're pleasant, you'll be treated well. Basically, your post is massively lacking in context.
0 (PSN)BlightDragon89
I somewhat agree with all of the above. I am an older player, and I try my best to help out new players. That being said, if they clap back at me with attitude, that is what they will get in return. I mostly get this when I tell noob Gara players that bright energy colors make her wall super annoying for everyone else since you cant see the enemies you are trying to shoot. I get a lot of attitude back about that one. Same with other super bright energy colors other similar moves. For the most part, I give people what they give me. When I was a noob, however, I did find both really nice vets and really nasty ones. You will find that in every online game you will ever play. In most games it is far worse then Warframe. If you are really being harassed, like being cussed out, or caps lock screamed at, or stalked thru missions or PM's, then by all means report that person and put them on ignore. But as other have said above, be prepared to have screen shot proof for DE.
0 (PSN)AbBaNdOn_
I'd be way more sympathetic to people being "bullied" if they were not almost always beggers and leeches looking for a free ride/free hand out. Unless someone is walking around in game screaming "I am a new player" more than likely there was a reason for causing a negative reaction from others. 0 Captain_Rocket505
Yeah there are gonna be good and bad people in the game. Example A: last night tried to get a taxi for sentient anomaly. One guy was really nice, but I got bugged and had to leave. Real shame cause he was super nice. Second guy that contacted me wanted me to pay for a taxi (which was fair bit we would all have reaped the benefits for doing the mission). Got mad that I wouldn't pay for the taxi. Some people will be rude, others will be nice. Whenever I'm in a squad I do my best and try to own up to my actions when possible. Its important to be understanding and nice especially if you are the somewhat weakest player in the squad.

0 XideBeast
well, that's a problem based on RNG in Reality since, there are nothing you or DE or us can do about it. But u may meet someone that is good to you. Just unlucky if you or other players had to deal with bully 😞
0 SamMitter
@Cuong666 i am going to say, like few vets above, it is probably a very isolated incident you faced. In this game, from my first day,i have always got help from the vets, and nowadays i try to return the favor as far as possible. If you are looking for some in game help, you can ping me up. Having said tht,i have also encountered the fact that some new players often dont like any comments on their gameplay (even if they are wrong/havent understood some mechanics properly). Also there are rude vets out there as well.... My advice,if some vets are rude to you for no reason,or for reason, dont care. If someone actually gives you some advice or comments on something, just try to listen it out.. but overall,it is possible one of the best communities around,so dont worry.

In other words, the only risk is spending some time with nothing to show for it. NEVER ever pay for a taxi. Yes, they do you a favour but at the same time you help them as well if in no other way then being cannonfodder. 🙂
0 Canach
ON the Other Hand: If you are a new player, the best advise is to LISTEN to what the veteran players are telling you. There are lots of things that new players do that make things more difficult or just annoying, and you'll find out about these things from players rude enough to say something. Even polite players can come across as rude when they tell you you're doing something wrong. The other thing is not to try to play above your level (too much). If you need a taxi, you're probably not going to do well when you get there. Asking a player you don't know to taxi asks them not only to move you, but to put up with you not being up-to-level. Actually trolling and bullying DOES happen - see the replies above - not denying that at all.

0 Jackdarsan
Regardless of anyone's actions, if someone is just annoying, i just leave the group. I have zero tolerance for crappy behavior, there's no need for it and benefits no one. I think I have reported 2 players in my year and half of playing, which goes to show how most of the player base are quite nice and friendly. However when people have the need to tell you to go get cancer and die, that to me is worth reporting. Don't give in to these people, keep playing on and you will find much nicer people to play with. 0 3rdpig
Here's an unfortunate truth. The world's a mean place and it's always going to be a mean place. Yelling "make it stop" or passing anti mean people laws won't make it stop. Here's the best thing you can do. 1. Grow a thicker skin. 2. Surround yourself with nice people. 3. Pay the meanies back by becoming a better player, and person, than they are.

Gladly would love to get tipps and listen if there was some advice, but often people dont even respond when direct questions are asked. 2. I have to be communicated to if i step on someones toes. It might not be purpose at all. 3. Tell me how I can do better : D 4. Everybody needs a bit of help sometimes. And everybody will be a sort of a burden to someone sometime - so even more experienced players dont do all perfect. *coughes 5. communication is key. + : In my case I met a very very nice player who really helped me out at the start doing missions with me, i coudnt handle myself (defense) and I ended up with 2 high lvl primeparts of my most wished frame : D She told me a very important thing: HAVE FUN. And I told her, if i 'once grow up' i will also help people whenever I can. When I told her 'Hey sry, wished to be more of use, but im still a noob' she replied 'We are all noobs.' And if youre think about it - thats f* true. For noone knows all.
0 ArchangelusAlpharius
General rule of thumb for me: 1. Regardless of MR, I will answer questions 2. Regardless of MR, if someone is missing a basic mod, is respectful, and I have a spare, I will sell at a heavily discounted price or free. 3. Regardless of MR, if someone needs an escort for a few missions, and I have the time, I will gladly tag along. 4. However, if your MR is low, and you are on a planet where you shouldn't be (MR 3s on Hydron) you get 1 revive, and that's it.

Especially if you inform the rest of the team ("hi, trying to get the hang of this") and then listen to their advice. For me, nothing was better in "early game" than by chance getting a helpful vet on my squad (at that point they seemed like gods, descending from to sky to help us mere mortals). If you are lucky enough to get experienced players on your team but ignore their advice and continue doing something "dumb", well, then you will be called "dumb", players will leave you to die or they might even abort the mission. An example of such "dumb" behaviour would be running and immediately starting new excavators that can't be defended, which impacts an excavation mission negatively for ALL involved. Or (staying with excavations, using void fissure excavations as the example) quickly maxing out the second excavator to full energy even if the squad doesn't have 10 reactants. You do this, you totally deserve being called "dumb" (which is why more experienced players often apologize when it happens by mistake = "my bad, sorry"). And doing it twice in the same mission then becomes "beyond dumb", going towards "trolling" (and trolls deserve no mercy whatsoever). I like to use the phrase "closed mouths don't get fed" a lot … and in this case its ok because I feel like a bully wont stop unless their behavior is reported to someone. They wont just stop on their own lol
