How would you have reworked ember

I have seen many posts about the ember rework,with a good number of people liking it,but not so much for some others.

 

So this is how i would have reworked her. 

Base stats

Normal/Prime

Base Health increased to 350/400

Base Armor increased to 200/250

 

This should bump up her base survivability by a moderate amount.

 

Passive

I will use the post rework passive here, as this passive is great for the most part.

 

 

Fireball

I will be using the current post rework version,but with a change.

Directly hitting enemies that are already on fire will cost no energy.

This should make it easier to max out the combo bonuses of the ability

Augment remains unchanged(Fireball Frenzy)

 

Accelerant

I will be keeping this ability,but with 1 addition to solve one of pre rework ember's main drawbacks

Enemies affected by this ability will now deal 75% less damage,which can be boosted by power strength mods to a maximum of 90%

This should help in Ember's survivability by a good amount, along with providing the same benefits to her teammates,provided they stay within range of this ability

Augment remains unchanged(Flash Accelerant)

 

Fire Blast

Taking the reworked version,but with a couple of changes.

Since there is no Immolation,the base armor strip will be at 70%

Now creates a small patch of fire around ember with a base diameter of 10m

No enemies can stand of the patch of fire,they will be pushed back when they try to walk onto it,providing some area denial.

Enemies that are within range of the fire path when the ability is casted will be ragdolled and sent flying away from ember

The ability will have 100% status chance

Augment remains unchanged(Healing Flame)

 

Inferno

With lacking an Immolation meter,base damage on impact will be at 3500 heat and impact,with the DoT damage set to 800 heat damage per second

Now inflicts heat procs on all affected enemies

Augment remains unchanged(Exothermic)

 

What are your thoughts,feel free to share how would you have reworked ember.

Adding a cap to maximum energy drain can help,since the drain seems to increase endlessly in its current state.

the cap should be reducible with efficiency mods too

I have the same problem with Grendel when it comes to that. IDK who’s deciding frames should have Endlessly increasing energy drain, but maybe they need to not make balance decisions for a couple months.
