Vasca virus not removing

So it's a bit annoying cause my Smeeta Kavat has this red glow on him ALL THE TIME.

Even after using the cure from Master Teasonai in a mission afterwards on my Orbiter Kavat still has that red glow and when I jump into new mission it's the same. Upon applying the cure the glow is removed though.

Some additional info:
Yesterday I put my kitty to stasis briefly (he just had his virus removed but on Orbiter glowed again). I removed him from stasis after a minute. He still glowed but when I entered new mission, cured him yet again and came back it was fine. Though I've been on Eidolon hunt today, my kitty got bitten again so the problem is there again...
