Warframe, which can settle in enemies, copy their characteristics depending on fraction. It gives many gameplay changes. Sitting in enemy your mods are still active and they are added to enemies characteristics, where it's possible. But movement set doesn't change. You walk like Corpus, Grineer, Infested and others. You will miss long leaps through all map, fast running and other tricks. But other enemies will not realize, that it's Tenno coming through their lines. Always wanted to see, what they do, when they are not provoked by Tenno. But we have Loki and Ivara to see it))) On the other side, if we want to kill some extra-level mobs without an effort, this warframe can copy the main characteristics of enemies and their damage (choose the strongest ones). It feels like your 30 levels turn into 100, 200, 300...

This one needs a bit of explanation:

The Mech Themed Warframe

Backstory 1: An experiment to combine Warframe biotech with conventional mechanical robotics

Backstory 2: An alternative to the Warframe program, designed as a conventionally mechanical robotic drone. It was cancelled after the Warframe program showed more potential, but this prototype was refitted onto a Warframe base as a cyborg.

Backstory 3: Grineer/Corpus captured warframe, experimented on by attaching parts.

Visuals:

Mechanical parts are grafted onto organic warframe, which is visible between mechanical sections. Animation has elbows bent at right angles, with little motion but occasional jerky robotic movement. Eyes and face are covered by mechanical visor or cover with a camera on it, revealing angry eyes when in emergency protocol mode. Joints are protected by bulky mechanical sections, which lift up in emergency protocol mode to give more flexibility and range of movement.

Playstyle theme: Mechanical parts decrease the agility of the Warframe, resulting in a low base sprint speed. These mechanical parts drastically enhance performance through abilities, but due to their experimental nature result in overheating of the part. Excess heat flows into the Warframe from the mechanical parts, causing it to catch on fire until cooled down. Cooldowns mean that abilities have to be used strategically instead of spammed. Weapons are to be used while abilities are on cooldown. Low shields mean that care must be taken to avoid damage to health by staying behind cover or carefully approaching enemies. High health means that the frame can tank damage, but resistance to healing means that the frame cannot blindly rush into combat and carelessly take damage it could have avoided. This also makes the frame synergise with healers. Emergency protocol can be activated to decrease cooldowns, but putting warframe in danger. Excellent for slow, methodical solo gameplay, or as an all-out tank/damage frame in squad, but would need to be protected by teammates or healed due to limited effectiveness of healing orbs.

Gameplay mechanics: Abilities have individual cooldowns, which can be decreased through ability duration. Each ability would be proportionally more powerful than other Warframe's abilities, to compensate for the cooldown after use. Abilities add a small amount of heat to a heat bar, if the bar reaches a critical level the Warframe catches on fire, dealing damage directly to health.

Abilities:

1. Missile pod: Press to launch single missile at target in front of Warframe. Hold to quickly target enemies in cone, automatically launching missiles at up to 10 enemies without having to release button. 10 second cooldown

2. Weapon Overload: Primary and secondary damage is increased, continuously firing on the target with automated aim. Lasts 5 seconds. 12 second cooldown

3. Emergency Protocol: Mechanical Parts are lifted away from Warframe, similarly to Gauss's Redline. This serves two purposes: first to increase joint rotation angles by moving armoured sections out of the way, second to vent heat. This increases sprint speed, cast speed (is turn speed a thing?), and healing received, but decreases armor while active. No cooldown

4. Plasma Cannon: A folded cannon on the back of the Warframe deploys over the right shoulder, locking the Warframe in place to brace for impact. Moving the mouse aims the cannon and turns the Warframe around as needed, similarly to Mesa's Peacemakers.Left click to fire single shot that explodes on impact (7m radius), hold to charge plasma beam with wide radius (8m). Right click to aim down scope. Limited ammunition shared between shots and continuous fire, offering a maximum of 8 shots or 4 seconds of continuous fire. Both shots and continuous fire can be used and switched between. Up to 40 second cooldown, depending on how many shots/continuous fire was used.

Passive: Abilities have cooldown. Overheating causes Warframe to catch on fire. Cooling down below threshold, or frost damage remove fire effect. Healing received from all sources is decreased by 50%.

Alternate ability 1: Replace secondary weapon with dual weapons. Weapons equipped in each hand depend on energy colours 1 and 2. Examples: laser, machine gun, shell, grenade launcher, plasma/ion, flamethrower. Limited ammunition, 15 second cooldown.

Alternate ability 2: Activate chaingun, continuously and firing on target, with automatic aim. Switches to nearest target if current target dies. Or activates two chainguns from either arm/shoulder/back, firing on two targets. 6 second duration, 15 second cooldown.

I'm not good with names so I won't name it

A frame based on an executioner that instead of doing normal mercy, he does his own animation of an execution with is exalted weapon an axe shaped glaive

(I know abilities won't probably be considered but it's just to give a better idea of the warframe)


Passive: he can execute enemies with 20% or lower health (instead of <5%)

Ability 1: all the executed enemies have a 100% more drop chance(capped at 100% but can go lower if the frame has <100% of strength)

Ability 2: throws his exalted glaive to seek and kill all the executionable enemies

Ability 3: -

Ability 4: equips his exalted weapon (axe shaped glaive)

Man-eating Man-spider themed Warframe.
 

Can climb walls, hang from ceilings and eats enemies for health though that would be single target unlike Grendel.  Stealth attacks would be able to be initiated from those places.
 

Most abilities would deal toxin damage and corrosive because spidervenom dissolves insides. Multiarmed melee abilities would be cool too.

Arachnid, infected warframe. The appearance resembles a spider: on the head, something like a pile of eyes; in addition to legs and legs, there are additional limbs (legs).
You can get it by completing a story quest related to a new type of infected and a new big boss from the infected race

 New personal-robot from the laboratory by the name of Reaper. Pasika can 5% knock out tokens from opponents and get Seating abilities. 1 the ability to FIRE from the AIR causes projectiles from the air after leaving fire on the enemy and the floor. 2 ability to VOSTANIE activates buf uskaryaet the speed attacks, rate of fire and recovery patrons but slows the speed of movement 3 ability to RELOAD absorb shields and restores half energy. 4 the machine GUN ability transforms the right hand into a machine gun and shoots cuts

The power of the sun (solar) a rival Warframe to ember just like volt to gauss. A Warframe that uses the sun to help the team or to destroy the enemy.

I was thinking of Icarus when making this. Therefore including the idea of flight and using those beams of light and lasers for support from above

In short a shadow frame.

Ive been thinking about a frame with control of shadows. Less like Nekros, more like making the enemies die to their own shadows. Maybe you could turn into an actual shadow and damage other shadows or have an autonomous shadow. It might be cool to play with light a dark in the environment.

U. M. W= Universally Mecanical Warframe 

Based on encouraging solo play while still being a good teamplayer UMW is capabile of replicating weapons companions and allies. Also has a charge mechanic where if you hold a predetermined key UMW will charge the current imputuntill the key is released with some bonuses based on the lenght of the change.

A warframe were we can use other warframe abilities at the same time it has its own base abilities . Also when it copies someone's warframe it will copy the build of the Warframe for as long as it is using their ability, and Finally i think the warframe should look like it came from the void

A frame that steals enemy technology to repair and upgrade itself. It would be made of different corpus and grineer parts (and sentient on a prime variant) that change their appearance depending on how many enemies you kill, kind of like nidus does. It could have a skill where it heals itself using nearby bodies of dead enemies or a passive that gives you buffs on mercy kills.

Hay there, want some idea then here is some,

What about a modular warframe like modular weapons (Zaw/kit-gun). Then we can decide which ability we want to play with, we could design our warframe from the given modular parts and also for the first time we will be able to name our warframe. 

If you guys are thinking about infested open world then its a good idea that you can implement. A infested planet, which is a junkyard for the failed warframe research parts. The origin of that planet could be, for example - A planet which is a scar from the past. Where the warframe race began, who could build the most power warframe then other. Then little by little every failure attempt made that planet contaminated (Climate Change reference). Then slowly that planet became inhabitable and people started transforming/mutating. Those researched warframe or parts are still remaining there and we are going to trade for those parts to whoever left alive there. 

Also, what about a 6th ability?

Where player/Tenno can move between the warframe and specter. for example - If a play press 6 the he willbe abale to move to his specter that he brought and control it and the original warframe will be the specter. Its like a function rather then a ability.

Growth-centered flowering warframe. Start off naked like a withered tree or wrapped up like a flower bud, grow over time, absorb nutrients with tendrils and/or venus fly trap, eventually blooming flower petals to be utilized in offense, defense and/or support.

I would love to be so called "Independent" WF
I wish I could assemble powers from different WF
for example: 1st from Frost, 2nd from Ash, 3rd Nekros and so on.
BLUEPRINT could be made from existing ones
with the NEUROPTICS, CHASSIS and SYSTEMS


4 NEUROPTICS for 4 powers, each carrying 25% power
4 CHASSIS
4 SYSTEMS
4 * 25% = 100% or

2+2 NEU
2+2 CHA
2+2 SYS
2 * 50% = 100% or

1+3 NEU
1+3 CHA
1+3 SYS
25% + 75% = 100%

I have some more crazy ideas and I'm willing to share them with my WF community, such as better stellar map organization, armada attacks, etc.

Since those two themes showed up alot.

Just combine the plant/nature controller/caster with the shapeshifting/transforming werewolf.

Supportive/CC in biped-form and tanky melee dmg-dealer in quadped-form.

Classic D&D/WoW druid -> jack of all traits, master of none. 😄

My idea is a Warframe based on Pandora's Box. She is will be a counter-part, or a sister if you will, to Limbo. However while related lore-wise and channeling her power through the Void via her crystal, she will operate much differently. She will not interfere with other players quite as drastically, adding some less detrimental buffs for players and debuffs to enemies.

Warframe description:

"This is Pandora, Mistress of Mystery.
Blessed and Cursed by gifts from the Void, she can both help and hinder those she encounters.
Don't let your curiosity get the best of you, Tenno."

Lore:

"All seemed lost. Her allies were wiped out one by one. And now, she alone stood between the innocent and an army. In final act of defiance, Pandora did the unthinkable. She knew there would be no turning back. But in order to protect those who's fates were wrongfully chosen for them, her sacrifice was necessary. Operator, Pandora is truly unlike the other Warframes we have encountered. Born from the same plains as Limbo, she has power far beyond her comprehension, and is not afraid to stare into the face of death if it means protecting the innocent. DO NOT underestimate her demure disposition. She is willing to risk it all for the sake of the greater good. Taking on her immense power is to venture into the unknown. And to find her limits, you may be forced to risk it all. Perhaps some things, Tenno, are better left alone. The utmost care, and caution, is advised."

Limbo is aesthetically designed around a Gentleman Stage Magician.

Pandora is aesthetically designed around a Gypsy Fortune Teller.

She will utilize Wisps floating animations only when moving, but will stand on the ground when not moving, aiming, shooting, melee, etc. as all other Warframes. The Noble standing animation will be regal and poised similar to Gara's Noble Stance, while the Agility standing animation will be very mystical and elusive similar to Baruuk's Agility Stance. Her skin overall will be very fluid and flowy similar to Ivara Prime but it will not be translucent or reminiscent of a jellyfish. 

(I understand abilities are not being considered during the first phase, but to give reference to what I believe she would be capable of, I have decided to add a list of abilities as an example to how I envision her play style.)

She will be accompanied by a crystal that trails around her. There will be a slight delay when following her, breaking the static nature of Sentinels that move in unison with you. The crystal will act similarly to a built-in Sentinel - being able to edit a mod set in the Warframe customization page to enhance Hope / Despair. When using an ability the crystal will fragment, spinning violently, radiating and releasing dark energy before reconstructing back into a crystal.

Instead of energy, she will consume power from her crystal which would be indicated by it's color. As the power decreases the crystal will go from black to clear, starting from the top, and working its way towards the bottom. There will also be a % gauge in place of the energy bar. Energy regeneration has no effect.

Signature weapons will be a new wand-like Spear Gun. Like the Fulmin, it will cast a rapid fire cold automatic cold damage "icy wind effect beam" in a narrow cone that has an building slow effect or switching to Semi-auto cold damage chargeable "blast" that freezes enemies in AoE at full charge, similar to the Staticor. Her secondary will be new dual wielded Toxic damage "bracelets" that fire seeking orbs that cause gas AoE splash damage, similar to the Cyanex, however there is no alter fire for this weapon. When wielded by Pandora, both weapons grant extra crystal power on hit.

Passive: Upon death, Pandora will instead be absorbed into her crystal. Effects from Hope/Despair will stop and the crystal will reconstruct. She will be able to move freely, gain invulnerability for 5 seconds, and regenerate health and shields equivalent to its power gauge before exploding from the crystal. The crystal will be depleted of all remaining power and cannot revive Pandora again until it reaches 100% to reset the effect. Crystal power regenerates passively when not Reviving, gaining a boost during Hope form, and draining during Despair Form. 

Ability 1: Hope / Despair
Pandora has 2 options. Press to active and deactivate, hold to switch. Can switch forms while active. These summons will act similar to Titania's Razorflies. The first is "Hope" which fragments the crystal into brilliant orbs that search for allies to heal them, and regenerate energy. This will also regenerate crystal power. The second option is "Despair" which fragments the crystal into aggressive shards which search for enemies to damage them, strip armor, or deplete shields. This will also distract enemies, forcing them to focus on the summons and rendering you essentially unnoticed. However only 1 form can be active at a time. This allows the Pandora to choose whether she will focus on support or offense and balance her crystal power gauge. 

Ability 2: Gateway
Pandora condenses Void energy drawn from the crystal to create a "Black Hole." This will act similarly to Mag's Magnetize. It will consume any projectiles and bullets caught within its AoE fired from enemies, while yourself and allies fire will be unaffected. It will also add a slowing pull-in magnetic effect like the pockets found in some missions. When a 2nd Gateway is opened (or charging to deactivate the Gateway) it will then purge everything absorbed by the 1st Gateway, targeting enemies closest to it. The Gateways are then connected, they will stop absorbing enemy fire, and instead allow Pandora to fire into the Gateway and having her fire exit out the other one, again targeting the closest enemies. As well, it will grant Pandora the ability to travel between the two, resetting the duration of both Gateways. (Debating whether allies should be able to travel between them as well, or not. It would be useful, but it could also be detrimental.) The Gateway will have a fisheye effect with a faint glow around it to keep line of sight unhindered.

Ability 3: Collapse
This ability can be cast after placing a Gateway, during the Revival phase, while Despair shards are active, or while the crystal is intact. This will destabilize the Gateway(s) and the crystal, creating AoE explosions at the Gateway location(s), upon exiting Revival form, at any Despair Shard locations, or around her if the crystal is intact. This will destroy the Gateway(s) and the Despair Shards. Collapse will also cleanse any Status effects applied to her and allies that are affected by Hope orbs. Hope orbs do not get destroyed.

Ability 4: Pandora's Box
Pandora channels all of the power from her crystal into a single wave of devastating destruction in a large pulse around her. Crystal power must be at 50% or above in order to use Pandora's Box. All enemies caught within the AoE are executed, allies are completely healed, shields are replenished, energy is restored, ammo is reloaded, status effects are removed, and any allies downed are revived instantly. Pandora's crystal consumes all her health, depletes her shields, and consumes all remaining crystal power, sacrificing herself in the process. Her passive then takes affect regardless if 100% crystal power passive reset was met before this ability was used. The Revival duration is instead set to 10 seconds instead of 5 seconds, and the crystal power passive reset is reduced to 50% instead of 100%. Collapse can still be used during Revival.

A warframe with abilities themed after alchemy, brewing, or chemistry, possibly creating mixtures for attacks, effects on enemies that could act as reactants to other abilities, or simply being able to cycle between a few choices like Vauban.Visually, I imagine a witch-like design, there's room to play with the hat and robe based theme, plus a "cauldron" of some kind could come into play, but I could also see it going in other directions, like a scholarly robe or even something plague doctor like.

 

The core idea though is simply a warframe themed around alchemy or chemistry that has some element of strategy to their abilities, either having the ability to mix, react off of, or choose between different effects on demand. As far as names go, Hekate is associated with many things, but among them there's a connection with witchcraft, herbs and poisonous plants.

A warframe based around knowledge. I know it's a bit of a stretch, but imagine a scholar warframe, doing more damage to fully scanned enemies. (I know about helios weakpoint mod, but still). The more knowledge he obtains, the more damage to that specific faction he would do. If the orokin wanted a war frame, what better to have than one that gets stronger as it learns more about it's enemies

A beast themed one, we have valkyr, but it’s not really feral. Im thinking about a wolf,lion,panther,tiger or any other cat/dog themed animal that can go feral and be on 4 leg going in a mass rampage 

 

of course it will be on its 4th abilities and maybe cost health the more you are in this form not put it in a immortality state like valkyr but get instead a buff to armor or damage reduction to avoid life stealing meta. His 3 could be a roar/growl that reduce ennemy armor and cause them to attack slower, his 1 could be a leap/jump/slide that knockdown people on it’s way and maybe the possibility to grab to a wall for a moment making it even more interresting to play, his 2 could be something that you activate, and it grant you more attack speed/fire rate when using the 1th or 4th, or maybe a light regen effect or maybe even a buff to armor, forcing you to constantly use your ability to stay in movement and kill stuff.

Turret based warframe. Every one loves turrets so give him one as a secondary companion like khora and her kavat. Someone built around maybe buffing his turret and teammates? A frame that is all about survival or defense. Me and my friends love just sitting on survival for over an hour so having a frame to where we can further lock down an area would be alot of fun.
