Theme: ribbon dance/rope dart warframe

Hey guys remember that one glitch people liked that when the thrown melee/Galvie weapons kept circling around you?

What if told you I had a warframe that grew from that idea but bigger and can work offensively and defensively?

Instead of rethrowing of a weapon you swing a roped exalted weapon around. It can be a combination of things but I think meteor hammer works best. Though to make it nice a flashy you can use moves from poi dancing and ribbon dancing

with a feel of death yo-yo in lighter attacks

or like this

But with the look and flash of poi

despite all the fire I don't think it has to be a fire elemental warframe at all

If got this though all that here some shaolin giving much greater detail of the art

Warframe: Mizan

Theme: Symbiosis

Backstory: The backstory will start with the creator's time as a human before being turned into a Warframe.

Jafnadr Mizan was a volunteer for one of the Orokin's sustainable colony tests to see how long an asteroid colony could survive without trade or other resource shipments after founding. To conserve resources, the colony was to also test the effects of new helminth strains on locally grown flora and fauna. After two years of isolation and relative stability, Jafnadr's team was close to a breakthrough after a helminth strain was showing signs of symbiotic bonding with injected hosts rather than complete transformation as had been seen in all previous trials. After four years the new helminth strain, now dubbed Mizan after its creator, showed continued signs of symbiosis with injected hosts, and even continued stability in later hybridized generations of flora or fauna. Trials had just finished on monkeys with great success, and human trials were expected to begin next week. After hearing this report, Ballus himself went to see these trials firsthand.

Upon arrival, Ballus breached the colony's firewall and began to copy all the research they had acquired, deleting everything once he finished. Ballus also collected several Mizan helminth strain samples, including failures that had fully transformed their host and wiping their mind, before continuing to the testing lab to meet the research team. Dof Crath Tarn, Deg Felwine, and Jafnadr Mizan were all inside the isolated testing chamber. They had just finished strapping their volunteer to a chair and were about to inject their volunteer with the Mizan helminth strain when Ballus entered the observing deck. After witnessing the volunteers transformation into a human-helminth hybrid, Ballus knew he had to continue his sabotage beyond taking their research data. Ballus congratulated the research team on their brilliance before directing his attention to the new hybrid. Curious if this new abomination had retained its mind after such a unique transformation, he addressed the volunteer and asked for her name and a demonstration of her newfound powers. Much to Ballus' surprise, the volunteer informed him that her name was Trago and it was a pleasure to meet on of the Orokin in person. Trago then gestured towards on of the hybridized ruk's claw samples. The ruk's claw hybrid then grew to nearly double its size in only a few seconds before Trago released control.

Smiling and assuring the research team that their efforts would be greatly rewarded, Ballus turned from the observation deck. Before entering the testing chamber he picked up a surgical knife and loading one of the older Mizan strains into an injection gun. Upon entering the testing lab and approached them all with his hands behind his back. Upon reaching them Ballus congratulated doctors Tarn, Felwine, and Mizan on their discovery as well as Trago for her bravery and remarkable control so soon after transformation. With the everyone's ego inflated and guard down, Ballus quickly struck down the first two doctors with a surgical knife before injecting Jafnadr with her own creation. Wishing them farewell and leaving Trago strapped to her chair and donning one of the hazmat suits left inside the testing chamber. Jafnadr finished her transformation into a new breed of helminth Warframe just as Ballus, now fully dressed in the hazmat suit, informed her that her work would not be forgotten but he was now closing this project and the colony was being redirected to an orbit around Eris before locking the testing chamber and cutting of its communications. On his way out of the facility Ballus aerosolized the Mizan strain and sent it through the colony's air duct systems.

One year after Ballus' betrayal, Jafnadr finally lost all memory of her previous life and was kept locked away in the testing chamber with Trago, who attempted to ease Jafnadr's pain with little success. After thrirty years the colony was in orbit around Eris and all its inhabitants had been converted into human-helminth hybrids. Trago released Jafnadr onto the asteroid's surface after finally giving up any hope of helping her.

Postnotes: If integrated into a Warframe quest like Mirage or Limbo, the player would receive a transmission from a colony around Eris and would have a new travel node added to visit them. Upon arrival the player would see that all lifeforms on the colony had been transformed into helminth hybrids and how they had shaped the larger plantlife into creating larger structures outside the original colony that allowed for more space to move about and settle down on the asteroid. Players would then get a quest to help the colony fix their mounting sustainability problems and be rewarded with Mizan blueprints for each stage they complete. Quest would make use of fishing and mining gear by visiting both Cetus and Fortuna in order to donate blueprints to the asteroid colony and show them how to hunt now that the infested have started to notice the colony. Later stages would have the player donate old weapons or weapon blueprints so they can defend themselves. Missions would consist of escort quests around the asteroid with locals in spacesuits while traversing the colony and defending against Infested raids.

Theme: Little summoner of Kuva monstrosities

Just to provide some context ill get VERY briefly into the lore and habilities of the warframe so i can leave most of it to the imagination of you guys.

Lore: It happens that the worm queen wasn`t gathering kuva for her sister at all, but all for herself, and after being traumatized by the tenno she decides to get a powerful warframe body by using the same method that her sister used to transfer her consciousness to countless bodies.
She doesn`t want just a common warframe body but one to surpass and dominate every tenno and their frames.
Being too greedy she fuses the power of 3 lost warframes into one (which are going to be the summons)
The remnants of tenno energy refuses her violently when she tries to transfer her consciousness, thus damaging the new warframe.

Habilities: Pasive: she can only use secondary weapons due to the advantage of the summons.

She vacuums kuva with her forearm and expels it as 3 summons from her finger, one being normal warframe sized, and she gets on top of it, with this one she can use primary and melee weapons

i won`t get into the other 2 but something that doesn`t need to be controlled directly would be nice.

Here is a little sketch i did kuva-frame.jpg

So I've had this idea for a while now and have been so set on it that I even made my own kit and design for it.

My idea is an explosion based grineer themed warframe. He would have abilities based around aoe armor spripping and buffing his fire rate and movement speed. I also think it would be cool for him/her to have a shoulder mounted rocked launcher. His ultimate ability I think should definitely be called "Get Clem" just as a little inside joke for players who understand. The current design I have for this ability is an aoe nuke around him (Don't be fooled by the word nuke, we don't need another Saryn) that creates a hotzone, causing radiation, blast, and fire procs in the area

My current aesthetic for this warframe is something like robotic legs, a grineer mask (potentially partially destroyed idk), and a WWII style hard hat.

Hastur the king of yellow is a infested based warframe that twists the flesh and minds. Twisting enemies minds is an easy task for Hastur just because of contagious he is at his will he infects the enemies with a special concoction of the technocyte virus that makes enemies lose control of their sanity, reason will as Hastur primes them and makes them run to their allies and explode. Since Hastur has many arms(my design which I will post a sketch that Ive abandoned has 4 arms) and tenticles wielding weapons is an easy task for him making bring a bigger arsenal or do more damage with melee. When The King of Yellow shows his true from and not just glipses that infest the enemies he turns into a unstoppable juggernaut, essentially he turns into the exalted weapon.

Below is franckly my first serious attempt (not thats an excuse for the quality of the thing) of trying to produce something cool in photoshop that I have mostly abandonded now:Hastur_the_unspeakable.png

It would be awesome to see the devs give a story and new quest line. I think it's time for an explaination for the Warframe in the Preservation Chamber on defense missions. It would be interesting to have this new warframe to be brought to life by the start of a defense mission which in turn becomes a rescue mission by like round 15 or 20. This mission should also have some key features from a survival mission like keeping life support up while defending and escorting the warframe(in the cryopod) throughout the mission. This should give players a new challenge, and also reward players accordingly with boosted loot or credit drop rates...something to make it worth the hassle of going through the mission.I'm thinking the warframe's theme should revolve around the fact that he is in the cryopod. The warframe is like a predecessor or forerunner so, I think having a warframe that speaks historical truths about Warframes and gives an account of a pastime before the "warframes" were labeled as such. There is a lot of room to play with theme of this warframe.I personally would like to see a warframe with the ability to talk or speak in lost languages ,and the abilities of the warframe should revolve around speaking. Some other ideas for abilities would be time manipulation, fallen warframe resurrection(like inaros' sand golems). Ideally this warframe be themed like a historical speaker or hooded monk.

A Spartan Warframe with a Leonidas feel to it(Appearance wise). It would also be a great way to add a Spear and Shield combo. His abbilities could be be based on their war tactics, for example, a Phalanx formation that would allow the warframe to summon a small army that would keep the enemies at bay. Other idea would be the implementation of the Exalted Shield and Spear.

Few ideas here.

1. Not sure if this would be viable, but a frame that, on its own, is great, but in a group gets buffs due to there ability being augmented by the Warframe that are with them. So if a frost is in, then there ability might get cold damage, or if Exel is there, slash damage. That, or they gain all passives.

2. Ying And Yang. A dule fram that can change between 2 different states, smiler to Equinox.

3. Moa. A frame that uses a moa-style pet.

How about a warframe that evolves on the battlefield .

He/She  starts with  a base form and a base set  of abillities and by killing or doing something SPECIAL he/she evolves into the next stage/ second form with improved abillities

Lugg is a four armed loveable bruiser type whos kit revolves around using his enemies/environment/other players for protection/weapons.

Passive: Lugg has quicker weapon draw time/reloads, OR can use primary+secondaries at the same time. (Can not use abilities while holding primary+secondary weapon sets at the same time)

Ability 1: Hug it!  Lugg hugs his enemies/picks up debris or another player i(f they accept)  can store up to four "charges"

Ability 2: Wear it! Lugg can wear his enemies/environment for damage mitigation.  Wearing other players hooks up shield systems and amplifies shields. (Does not cost energy) (other players can still use weapons)

Ability 3: Chunk it!  Lugg throws one of his "charges" (holding ability uses energy but creates an explosion on impact)

Ability 4: Swing it!  Lugg converts all his "charges" into ExAlTeD wEaPoNs and swings them around(can be modded)(other players can still shoot while being swung about)

Sentient Warlock

A Warframe who stole a fragment of powerful Sentient technology. They tap into it, reverse engineer it in some way - what have you. But they use this Sentient power in conjunction with their own strength to fell their foes.

How about a simple light themed warframe? Capable of healing, buffing, and debuffing. Her light is actually the lifeforce of enemies, making her strongest in the presence of enemies.

I know abilities won't be considered but i still would like to make a case.

Passive: Killed enemies with spawn a light orb that floats in place for 5 seconds. If an enemy comes into contact, it'll explode and blind nearby enemies. Good in corridors or small areas. Must be killed by the player.

1: Choose a target, blind them, and bind them into place. Ant enemies nearby will have reduced accuracy begin shooting each other unable to distinguish friend from foe. The bound target gains 500% defense stats.

2: Saps the life force from an enemy and spawns a pillar of life, nearby allies are healed X amount of health per second and granted a damage buff. Enemies have their life force sapped and lose a portion of defense related stats. Only two pillars may be active and is unable to be recast.

3: Spin around and sap the lifeforce of all nearby enemies and returns a portion back to player. Good for damage and heals when surrounded.

4: summons a Spear of light capable of close range melee attacks and long range thrown capabilities. Damage ramps up as she steals a portion of enemy life force with each strike. As a result, it scales with enemy level.

-= Warframe Theme Entry =-

Name Of Warframe : B l a c k r o s e [ Blackrose ]

Type Of Warframe:  Melee Samurai Type Warframe [ Both Close Range and Long Range Energy/Element Based Melee ]

Theme : Blackrose is a Male Samurai Themed Warframe built by the Orokin during the old era as it's design is influenced by the concept of Samurai designs of old. As it's primary purpose is to exist as a Warframe that serves as the counter pick to Ash's already established Ninja based design.  It's primary colors come in three different default variants. 1. Blackrose Alpha [ Black and Red ]  / 2. Blackrose Delta  [ Black and Silver ] and 3. Blackrose Omega [ A Black and Gold ]

Blackrose is roughly humanoid in design with the appearance / build of the perfect fusion between Warframe Technology and Human Ingenuity clad within an appearance that makes him look more like a humanoid based Samurai type frame then a typical Warframe Ninja. ( Tall and Muscular with an sleek Excalibur / Stalker type build ) Also true to its motif Blackrose's unique ability is it's ability to dual wield several different types of blades ( Like Dual Wielding Nikana's both normal and spectral Nikana's ) each with different effects similar to Chroma in build. For example each blade can use an infused with a different element depending upon the combos it inflicts upon the enemy and in turn this unique mechanic makes Blackrose The Only Warframe that can attack the enemy with multiple elements on the fly based upon its unique combo system. Although Blackrose was designed by the Orokin its appearance strangely enough does not resemble any known "Dax" Archetype ( So no cone heads unless it's an Alternative Helmet then go for it. ) and instead Blackrose itself has taken on more of a modern day approach to the the classic warriors of old.

Special Accessories: Swords , Multiple Swords , Each one glowing with a different element to each blade. Also a special Ephemera that has Kanji appear around your Warframe and your Pilot.

Former Operator: Blackrose's former operator is a pilot named 'Raven' who's existence is lost to the anals of recorded history. He is suspected to be one of the former members of The Orokin due the operators origins this can be further referenced in the fact that entities like 'The Stalker' / 'Alad V' know of Raven's existence but refuse to comment about his whereabouts as they considered Blackrose to be one of the more mythical warframes that existed. Even the Corpus had only heard tales of how insane this warframe's power truly is.

Authors Notes: [ Sadly no artwork to go with this but I REALLY would love to see 'The Warframe Artist' draw a concept of this and DE like the rules state has full permission to use this design as their property if its chosen. As no lie? I feel as a True Samurai style Warframe is needed in a game full of epic space Ninja's.  ]

Very large, battle-damaged warrior (like barbarian or viking sort?) sort of berserker missing his arm and a chunk of torso and face.  When he has no energy he walks with a severe limp and drags a huge two-handed sword behind him with his good arm, swinging it in huge, powerful but slow horizontal and vertical attacks.  When he has energy the energy fills in a ghostly version of the missing frame and he is now able to move quickly using two-handed attacks (maybe activated by an ability with a slow energy drain).  Alternately, the two-handed sword could be part of the ghostly form filled in and when he has no energy has to resort to single-handed melee and guns.  This is a frame that has been fighting for a long time and is not giving up.  He is here to wreck S#&$ and can take some abuse but he's also older and damaged so he can tire quickly.  Energy efficiency mods would be a primary focus when building.

I know abilities are to be picked later but this is kind of what I had in mind:

1 - Activate to fill in damaged portion of the frame  (and alternately weapon)

2 - He holds his ghostly arm out and his hand becomes a wide shield (like Volt's?) that teammates can provide coverage for your teammates at your side (maybe with team damage buff based on incoming damage?).  Alternately he could channel his energy into shield or armor buffs for the team.

3 - Some sort of AoE attack, maybe with stun.  I envision him stabbing his sword into the ground while yelling something to summon an elemental blast that he channels into nearby enemies.  Maybe he can rotate through elemental options like Vauban's 2nd ability or, alternately, can be affected by color choice like Chroma.

4 - He charges his ghostly parts and expends all his remaining energy to call the ghosts of fallen warriors to rise up and pillage and burn.

I was thinking a proper vanguard style frame. All about getting between the enemies and the allies with a lot of speed shifting and knockback.

The design of the frame would be roman-esque. Think the classic roman soldier uniform in warframe form. A prime version would look like a higher ranking roman military commander / general's uniform. The warframe would have its own attached energy shield on its arm at all times, able to bring it out and change its size as needed.

The frame's abilities would revolve around using speed as a buff/debuff and heavy defense / knockback. Powerful blocking abilitlies would slow the warframe to a crawl, but be nearly impenetrable and stop the advancing enemies and punish the enemies when they attack. some sort of kockback ability ahead of the warframe to push back enemies and force the flow of the battle forward, like the classical roman phalanx pushing forward against their foes. Any buffs would be defense based. Everything about this frame would be stonewalling the enemy, constantly pushing forward, and defending allies. Damage would be an afterthought, maybe a bit from abilities but too much would spoil the focus.

Overall, it'd be a control frame, all about stunning, blocking, and putting an immovable buffer zone between friend and foe. Definitely could look great to throw in some modified animations for the sword/shield melee weapons, like custom energy fields based on the shield used.

Make a four-legged Warframe. It would have a Warframe's torso (arms and head included) on spider legs. It would be agile and easy to maneuver, and have abilities that control space and time (maybe have seperate forms for each, like Equinox and its Metamorphosis, or simply 6 or 8 abilities flat-out). Since it is a humanoid-spider, it would have unconventional movements, instead of rolling, sliding, and bullet-jumping. It would use a spinning air kick akin to a Mite Raknoid, a ball form, like in 3D Metroid games, where it could invert its knees to form a ball-cage around itself and roll into enemies, go faster than in normal mode, then toggle off the ball mode (weapons cannot be used in ball mode), and a shockwave attack where it would slam its legs into the ground and shoot pieces of the ground up at enemies. These movements would use a meter that fills when using abilities, killing enemies by utilizing abilities, and killing enemies. The downside would be that it has decreased health, armor, and shields, and possibly less mod slots. It would come from Fortuna, like Gara and Revenant came from POE, and for backstory, be made in the Enrichment labs as a superweapon against the Tenno. Perhaps the prototype was given powers from the Void, making it a space-time creature. This would be unlike most Warframes, which don't have Void powers, but their Operators do. It could have its blueprint unlocked through a quest involving Fortuna, and parts unlocked by killing the prototypes that roam the Vallis. Ability suggestions:

Passive: If space ability was last used, enemies have a 10% larger hitbox. If time ability was last used, enemies are 10% slowed down.

Space Abilities:

Trip: 25 Energy. One-time Cast. Makes surrounding enemies fall down where they are, like a melee slam attack. Does no damage. Range is not an issue here; all visible enemies will be affected, no matter how far.

Force Field: 50 Energy. Durational. Creates an invisible barrier that repels and reflects objects. It stays around you at all times, unlike Frost's Snow Globe. The barrier can be used to crush enemies when you walk the barrier into them into a wall, or turn projectiles back at the enemy who fired them. Field can only reflect a certain amount of projectiles, though, and will let extra projectiles through. Strongest projectiles are prioritized by the force field to be blocked. Max amount repellable scales with ability strength mods.

Quake: 75 Energy. Durational. Flings enemies around into walls and ceilings like ragdolls, damaging and killing most and crippling the rest that survive. After ability ends, crippled enemies lose function of limbs and have a dizziness status effect for a few seconds. Amount of crippling scales with ability strength mods.

Slash Destruction: 25 Energy + Energy per second. Flings you wildly around room at breakneck speeds as you slash enemies with your spider legs like a Mite Raknoid. Damage scales with Ability Strength mods.

Time Abilities:

Dull: 25 Energy. Durational. Enemies that you damage will slow down. Slowdown strength scales by ability strength mods.

Asymmetry: 50 Energy. Durational. Shifts surrounding enemies 1 second behind in time (Example: You dodge an attack and enemy takes 1 second longer to react). Basically, enemies will see you as you were a second ago during ability effect. Effect shows an energy-colored doppelganger of you that shows how enemies see you (Just a copy of you 1 second ago). Delay scales by ability strength mods.

Time Trick: 75 Energy. One-time Cast. Transports you back in time by a few seconds. Time traveled back scales with ability strength mods.

Pause: 100 Energy. Durational. Literally pauses time for a few seconds so you can shoot and slash at enemies and the bullets and attacks kill them when time starts again.

Since there are quite a few abilities, you choose ability groups by these controls:

RShoulder + Left DPad + Button: Space Abilities.

RShoulder + Right DPad + Button: Time Abilities.

The last ability group chosen determines which abilities are available with quick ability selection (Example: Picking the space group last time shows only space abilities when using Dpad only to select ability or when not using dpad to select, with just RShoulder + Button). Last chosen ability could affect cosmetics, with a space form and time form. Perhaps both forms could have their own seperate buffs. Remember: health, armor, and shields are reduced to compensate, so this is a warframe for advanced players. I don't know what to name it, but maybe it could do with its spider legs or its space-time abilities.

Spider frame. We all know DE has a reverse-Quentin Tarantino foot fetish for jacked up lower limbs on warframes. So I saw we let them go bonkers and give them 8 to work with. Fun things could include moving while wall latched, spraying webs to either trap enemies or zip line yourself around, sucking the life out of enemies, eating your mate whole etc etc. also maybe some innate toxic damage dual daggers just for flavor?
