Chronos, the time traveler.

Passive - Time Disturbance: When using your abilities, disturb the time of all enemies
in a close range, slowing them down.

Fracture: Chronos allows a fracture to appear in time, allies can go through the
fracture to gain an acceleration buff (rate of fire, attack speed, movement, etc.).

Temporary jump: Cronos selects a location and through a temporary jump reaches it.

Acceleration: Chronos selects a group of enemies, and accelerates them within its
timeline, enemies to lose life by temporary wear, can be accumulated to increase
the speed of wear.

Chronostasis: Chronos selects an area where time is stopped. Keeping the ability
pressed, Chronos moves at breakneck speed, redirecting all enemy projectiles to
their origin. At the end of the chronostasis reusing the ability or when the duration
ends, the time continues normally.

A very crude concept of a time-manipulating warframe, that has a clock somewhere
in the body, that moves based on the skills used.

I'd say a Beatmaster that can use most of the orb vallis and plain of eidolon animals that you catch as companions for his abilities, maybe something like interchangeable abilities depending on what you went out to capture.

If i were to suggest lore, maybe something about it being forgotten on Venus near the start of the old war after being ambushed and nearly killed. (It could be covered in or just have some pretty big scars.) Turned feral after the tenno that used it due to amnesia that he/she was a tenno and living with the wildlife for so long.

A quest where you have to track him down with Biz helping you would be dope (I love this character).

(This part is just optional) Maybe even blend in some werekubrow stuff with it that people keep spamming in this thread, when the beastmasters transforms his herd goes berserk at the same time and trashes everything.

Un warframe in grado di equipaggiarsi con varie armature (corrispondenti alle abilità) l, dove ogni armatura dona un effetto al warframe e una resistenza ai danni, finché l'armatura non si romperà

So, here's my idea, it may be a bit short, but I hope you enjoy the concept:

The (War)Smith: Hephaestus - "Created and Creator, The Hammer that shatters Glass, and forges Steel..."

A support Warframe with a focus on armour, and / or weapon modification, though only able to increase I.P.S. - I assume that this frame will be coming out as a male (The 2nd or 3rd frame after Protea). I feel that he should be able to gain metals from dead enemies (Infested too - their blood), and depending on the type of enemy, it gives an amount of 3 materials he can craft from (Ferrous, Silica, and Obsidian) to fuel his abilities, increasing his stats the more materials he holds.

Inspiration being from the god itself, and the wonder of who created all the inventions and weapons of the orokin empire that are not yet explained (I believe the rings holding Lua together are included...) - Sorry if I don't quite understand all the lore, it's a bit long to find and read it all, and I usually do so when tired...

But if you think this will be an amazing warframe, please like it so it doesn't get hidden among the spam ❤️

Ace The card warframe: His design would be a combination of the tricky from yugioh and a magician with long sleeves and rectangular slots in his hands

Passive: All slash damage by Ace and his team is doubled

1st Ability: Draw, Ace draws a base of 10 cards with no power strength but you would draw five more the higher the strength

2nd Ability : Luck of the draw, Ace tosses 5 cards with varying effects based on random numbers 1 of 5 each one doing a type of status the more cards you have drawn the higher the damage.

3rd ability: Read em and weep, Ace tosses cards in waves while spinning enemies hit blinding and causing bleed procs this scales based on duration and power strength.

4th Ability : All or nothing, Ace summons 2 clubs with Aces for the spear tip they use duel sword stances

I've been hooked on Kamen Rider for the longest time, so maybe...a bug-themed frame? Specifically, locusts? The current Kamen Rider (Zero-One) has a berserker form whose armor can detach and shapeshift as a massive swarm of locusts to counteract any enemies, so maybe it would have swarm-type skills, like using metal bugs to rush a group of enemies that either strip armor or disarms weapon, or even strips own armor to create a layer of protective wall. He later receives a sword that absorbs these metal bugs and allow the sword to shapeshift instead, so that might be able to be taken into consideration.

A Fencer-themed warframe.

Take fencer armor and helmets, both modern with a faceless matte mask going back to the renaissance style (because what fashionframer doesn't want more hats with feathers in them?), and you've got a simple aesthetic to apply that biotech Warframe flair to. Throw on a signature or exalted rapier onto the design and we're over half-way there!

Plus we've already got some good ability names. Fencing terms!
Allez - Go! A swift movement and strike perhaps? Plastron - Specialised fencing armour, this fencing fiend must be protected as well as a relentless swordsman. Piste - The fencing arena, maybe our new friend can declare control over his own little arena and 'bladestorm' anyone within. (You know you want a warframe who can do that anime trope of killing multiple enemies quickly, then pausing at the end for all the enemy bodies to suddenly collapse in unison.)

A smith frame with the ability to construct special exalted weapons and armors that let allies pick up and used. The materials are from the weapons or body of the enemy you killed. Also, depend on which ’materials‘ you pick the ability can be different too.

For example, if you killed ancient healer, you could build an exalted armor that will keep healing you and your allies or if you killed ancient disrupter you could build a exalted weapon that will drain health or shield of the enemy you hit which also increase your warframe energy too.

I've recently started watching Gundam ZZ, and it's been making me think a Warframe kinda like the titular gundam could be really fun. In the show ZZ Gundam is made of three fighter jets of various capabilities, which then becomes a large mech with ridiculous firepower. Something with a weak but agile base form that can then combine with its mechanical companions for a super powerful, but short lived ultimate form seems like something that could be pretty fun to use! I guess the overall theme here would just be: Combination

Infested Sentient Warframe

In an attempt to combat the Sentient threat during the Old War, the Orokin unleashed the infested upon fallen Sentients to create a warframe harnessing the adpative capabilities of the Sentients.

Passive: After being effected by a status effect it grows immunity (stacking buff) towards that damage type reducing damage taken from it.

Ability 1: Adaptive strike: You extent forth a combination of infestation and sentient biology from your arm peicing enemies in a line doing the damage type of the first enemy hits greatest weakness

Ability 2: Reconstruction: You call upon the infested that remade you consuming your immunity to receive armor and health

Ability 3: Natural Selection: Exposes target causing them to be weaker to the damage they are weak to

Ability 4: Absolution: Unleashes a radial blast that consumes your immunity dealing signification amounts the damage types of your immunity stacks

Alchemist Warframe

Think about it. Warframe already has quite a few elemental damage types players can use (some go neglected due to end game min/maxing), what if we had a Warframe that has the 4 basic elements ready to use and mixed them on the fly by using their abilities in tandem with one another. e.g. the Alchemist hoses down the enemy with a cold proc then proceeds to throw an exploding vial of the player's choice, like heat to create a huge blast proc (almost like Gauss's Thermal Sunder, but further expanded upon and more elements are at the player's disposal). While the Alchemist would have some offensive capabilities, their main role would be to play support by giving buffs to their allies and themselves, like adding toxin damage onto someone's weapon which could be turned into extra corrosive damage if the Alchemist adds electric onto that. Another idea to their kit, is an on the fly potion making mechanic that gives unique buffs depending on what order of elements is used, but requires materials that are left behind by enemies that are killed by the Alchemist's powers or allies they had buffed before, rewarding the Alchemist for playing the support role. Their survivability gimmick could have something to do with mixing a specific order of elements to create a healing vial to shower themselves with.

This has been idea that has been floating around my head for quite some time, I just haven't gotten the chance to share it with anyone. 😄

I suggest a Warframe with a 'soldier' or 'knight' aesthetic, with powers revolving around the use of weapons: for example, augmenting ammunition for themselves and their allies, or using an Exalted primary weapon, perhaps a rifle.

An example of this is the Warframe I wrote myself and posted to the forums: Banneret. Please refer to the link for full details, including backstory and abilities.

I'd like to submit my idea of a warframe called Lycaon, named after the king of Arcadia in the greek mythology.

Lycaon tested the gods omniscence by serving them the meat of his own son. As punishment, he was transformed into a wolf.

That's what the Warframe's theme is based on, transformation into a wolf (or into a Kubrow, if you want to integrate it into the Origin System). This could be implemented as an abilty of transforming into a wolf/kubrow and retransforming into human form, just like Equinox's Methamorphosis works. Alternatively, Lycaon could have a special Wolf/Kubrow as "built-in" companion, comparable to Khora's Venari.

Based on Lycaon's wolf theme, following could be a suitable background story (from the perspective of a child living in earth's forests):

I'm a member of a tribe in earth's forests, and as a member I have to live according the tribe's rules, just like the tribe lives with the rules of nature. I respect the tribes rules, and the tribe respects the rules of nature. It was a safe live we all lived on earth, as long as we respected nature.

But this changed when Grineer came.

They killed nature, destroyed our forests, our home, our way of life. They could take away our food, our fresh water, our peace, but, fortunately, they could never find us. And we knew, this was the only reason we still were alive.

But being alive maybe wasn't the best option at this time.

People became crazy. They started praying. Not to nature, wich was everything we had. They prayed to an idol they called Lycaon, god of wolfs.

He was our only hope, they said. He was the one who could save nature and us from the grineer, they said. They were lunatics. They sacrificed everything to their god. They burned our food so he could smell the scent. They forbade us to drink water so their god could drink it instead. They cut us and themselfes to sacrifice the blood to Lycaon, god of wolfs.

As I expected, nothing happened. Neither a savior came, nor a god. For 12 days, they tortured us almost to death.

But on the 13th day, we heard it.

First, the howl of a wolf. Then another. Then two more. Within minutes, the whole forest was filled with terrifying howling. Then silence, and screams in the far.

We sent scouts to the Grineer camp. They were dead. All the Grineer were mangled, torn into pieces. I never doubted the existence of this Lycaon, god of wolfs, again.

I hope you like the idea and sorry for the long post 🙂

A Hindu mythology based warframe.

Name: trimurti

I have not given stats and all but an outline of the abilities as I am a noob.

I want this WF to have 3 heads that can be switched via the second ability.

These 3 heads will be those of Vishnu, Shiva, Brahma the 3 main gods of the religion.

Changing of the heads will give you a different passive and an ability related to the head.

Passive: Vishnu(preserver)

Creates(summons) a peacock that can heal allies and attack via ranged shots of its feathers.

Passive: Shiva(destroyer)

Gives buff to melee attack speed and melee damage.( Receive energy via melee kills)

Passive: Brahma( creator)

Ability cost is reduced for first ability used during mission.

Ability 1.(Kali shakti)-(suryas blessing)

Uses pure energy to supercharge the Warframe and it's weapons and gives a lot of buffs (it will drain through energy very fast so it's only good to get out of tough spots or when a boss has its damage phase).

Ability 2.(dhyana)

Changes the WF head(I think this should have a cool down).

Ability 3: Brahma(Kamal)

Creates multiple lotuses that latch on to enemies(even bosses) and provides lifesteal and produces energy.

Ability 3:Shiva( brahmastra)

Summons a Trishul (a type of trident) that can be thrown and summoned back. It impales enemies and form an explosion where it lands.

Ability 3: Vishnu( preserver of knowledge)

Turns 3 enemies around the Peacock into allies and kills them after duration ends.

Ability 4: Shakti jodd ( combining powers)

Combined the 3 heads into 1 head and activates all the heads passives along with the ability to cycle through the 3rd ability abilities.

I want this Warframes backstory to be that it was created not by the orokin but by the Hindus like a very very very long time ago. Even before the orokin send the ship into the void. this WF was buried deep inside the Himalayas (Everest mission) and only the pure of heart could control this weapon of mass destruction.

Pls make changes as u see fit.

My idea was sort of an Alchemist style warframe I like to call it. Was thinking of naming them Mercury.

Passive: Doesn't use energy he uses biomass which he picks up from slain enemies.

1st ability: Consumes his biomass to create potions that he can use in his other abilities. The more potions held the more armor you have. (Holds up to 8)

2nd ability: Can cycle through different potions and throw them on the ground for a persistent AOE buff or debuff.

3rd ability: Can consume a potion to start venting a gas substance around him, this gas procs enemies and lowers their armor. The more potions he consumes (by holding ability) the stronger it is.

4th ability: Pulls out a large sprayer type (sorta like the ignis?) weapon. While in ultimate he gains damage reduction (based on current amount of potions held) and can spray his sprayer while consuming biomass, hitting enemies damages them while possibly giving them a toxic proc and hitting allies heals them or gives them a damage buff something like that.

Warframes that have covered themes thus far, in themes:
Male frames: Weapons, strength/weight/anger, time/space, tactics, paranormal/undeath/resurrection, elements, hunting, assassin/ninja, family, food, speed, energy, stealth/trickery, spiritual, fatherhood/veterancy (Umbra).

Female frames: Weapons, strength/weight/anger, time/space, tactics, paranormal/vampirism, manipulation/control, elements, hunting, assassin/ninja, family, food, speed, energy, stealth/trickery, spiritual.

I would like to see a unique Warframe who's signature weapon is under the 2-h katana class, but is a colossal 2-handed greataxe of gothic design. It would also bare a sidearm which, when paired with the 2h weapon, makes it behave like a 1-handed melee.

Theme: psychological terror based on lore implications. Features these traits: Cold. Logical. Task-oriented. Tireless. Relentless.

In this Spoiler, I would go into more details. Also includes lore spoilers.

Spoiler

Visually, this Warframe would be androgynous and bare horrifying implications - a Chimera of Orokin and Sentient design, the body strewn together from pieces of an Eidolon, and dead Sentients around, it would have features markedly similar to Umbra, but almost lost to the adapting whim of the Sentient. It's style would be heavily based on Eornheit's existing Sentient works while, almost in a fleeting desperation, adhering to the 'Vitruvian' design of a Warframe.

Optional: Unlike any Warframe preceding it, it will be a Prime by default, and have no substitute, for it would be made just days before the New War as a counter to our Warframes.
Facing this 'Chimera' in battle would be different to typical Assassins. It would want to try and kill you four times, but is as easily able to be butchered in the same way whilst it tries to imitate you - equipping it's own Exalted weapon of whatever class you're using and modding itself to try and outperform you. Beating it would drop a part for this Warframe, and taking a maxed Chimera of your own to face it causes it to flee when it downs you, or when you down it, unable to bare fighting a mirror-image of itself dominated by Devil minds.

It's passive would be the ability to siphon shields, disable weapons, and subjugate technology under it's terrible, unholy rule.

It's first ability would be to mark enemies, identifying their weaknesses. It can be swapped to an ability that releases a barrage of homing munitions configured to exploit those weaknesses, so long as enemies are marked this would be free. If it can't find a weakness, it will make a weakness by firing flashbang rockets. This ability is duration based, and duration allows for more targets to be marked, and then attacked.

It's second ability would be to glide effortlessly in the air, it's legs posed together. It would drain energy to stop projectiles, and it's Exalted weaponry is heavily discounted while this is active.

It's third ability emits a warcry, diverting all enemy attention to it while configuring it's shields to reflect damage, taking no damage at the cost of each shot received draining a fixed amount of energy. Afterwards, the shields will automatically drop due to needing to reboot them. This is a duration ability.

Its last power would be four different abilities - each of Sentient design. Each Exalted. Each a weapon. A heavy cannon, not unlike the Teralyst's. A three-mode rifle that could fire beams of high status, full-auto projectiles of high crit, or a burst mixing both - not unlike a Mimic's armguns, except merged to mimic a Soma's design. A pair of repeaters, not unlike a Battalyst's armguns, but smaller - still arm-mounted. And it's last weapon would be inspired by War, and Conculyst staves - but not be a staff or a sword, as both weapon classes can be found in Exalted form already.

Now, onto the weapons this Warframe would bring with it:
A pistol or sidearm of purely Sentient origin, with hints of Orokin influence. It would, bizarrely, resemble the humble Lato, except the weapon component extends out both sides of the grip, the barrels merge into a lotus-like pattern, changing from a cold and gold, gothic theme into a flower blossoming with blissful, accurate, overbearing love death.

Paired with this Warframe, the pistol would have an alt-fire where it would be able to equip the signature greataxe in a dual-wield mode - but it cannot use it's heavy attacks in this state as doing that would holster the axe.

A massive greataxe operating on 2h-katana stances and heavy blade stances. It's unique, heavy attack is a left and right swing, with a followup of a slam that would sunder armor and suspend enemies slightly off the ground. The weapon's design takes after the Sentient tileset, with the pommel resembling Lua to some extent, and the edge of the blade being a 1/3 circle curve, with the start, mid, and end of the blade being spiked.

Paired with this Warframe, it can forgo finisher animations and instantly gib them with heavy attacks, causing the slain thing to turn into energy due to sheer force and heal the Warframe.

The Warframe's design would take after actual Sentients - the Ropalolyst, Natah, Erra, and Hunhow - except it would be... corrupted by Ballas' meddling introducing the white-gold of the Orokin, and some semblance of a Warframe. Its powers would be an even more uncanny blur.

But wait, did I say Ballas? That his meddling includes a back door?

Your way in, Tenno. Your way, into becoming one of us.

Revenant has always been a favorite of mine considering I have an strange obsession with sentients- but how about a full-out sentient themed frame? We have Nidus representing the Infestation. Time for the sentients to have a representing aswell!

(Oh and happy 7th to everyone stopping by!)

We should split Revenant for his "eidolon" side and a full on vampire russian mystic theme
