In Nature Two rules are a cut above the rest rule one is Survival of the Fittest a pretty simple rule but with plenty of exceptions. The second Rule is The Dead will never return to the living, but love drives the heart to darker places then anger or sorrow. Premonition the Warframe who was made in an attempt to Brake that second rule an experiment Driven by a Broken heart a Goal to bring a loved one back from the shadow land a Dream of a body bathed in the abyss. A son lost a mothers heart shattered and a father who was willing to do anything to make the pain stop.

Premonition is an Eldritch warframe was he a dream made nightmare or a nightmare made flesh none the less premonition is or was born in a secret lab. according to his legend he was born from the remains of the scientist one and only son now if this was done as a kindness to try and restore what was lost or if it was the scientist hand who ended the boys life all that is sure is it proved one thing and only one and that is even if you can do it should you? Premonition body is for the most part clad in black leather with veins of white Crystal moving across the leather like skin with a twisted but elegant protrusion of emaciated golden arms reaching out from his chest with only one pair reaching up almost as if trying to hug him the rest are posed as if trying to claw free, as for his legs and arms his legs come to sharp spear points not much like human legs at all but more like unnatural points allowing him to move more like a monster then anything else eldritch symbols cover the ivory surface of his legs these twisted arcane markings glow with a burning supernatural blue leaving a trail of embers as he walks. his arms are made of the same ivory Substance with the white crystal veins running across the skin all the way up to his finger tips which are sharp claws of gold. for the most part he wears a hoodie made from an unknown fabric with 6 glowing crystals on its back these crystals glow the same supernatural blue as the symbols on his legs the hood is drawn over his head so that only his mouth and one eye are exposed his mouth is a muzzle filled with razor sharp teeth.

Passive Dead But Dreaming: Premonitions passive allows him after being killed to come back as a ghost moving at 2x his normal speed and doing 2x his normal damage as a dreaming specter he is able to only attack and cant be attacked back but in 10 seconds the specter will vanish and his body will be able to be healed or die and rez as normal

  1. aspect of the dark mother when using this ability Premonition opens his mouth and a flurry of black Tentacles come out of his mouth damaging everything in front of him for ten feet
  2. the Golden mark Premonition draws a golden mark on the ground summoning shadow thralls that will guard that spot.
  3. the nameless Darkness when using this ability an area is covered in dark fog that damaged enemies over and heals all Friends over time
  4. the Deep ones weapons  when using this Premonition gets a more monsters form gaining a set of Great swords.

Funny enough I had a dream about Premonition i was going to draw him out but when i saw this in my news i didnt have the time too well here fingers crossed you like him

CHARON - The Ferryman of River Styx

Both guardian and gatekeeper, he controls the flow of the battlefield; carving out safe passage for allies and restricting it for foes. He draws power from currency, made as an offering for his services.

Dark and mysterious, he moves like a gentle fog over water, unwavering in his duty. He is the guide for those who seek passage through the Void, and the keeper of the lost souls who could not pay the price.

A non-humanoid feline frame (a tiger perhaps?) with primary or secondary weapons mounted to its back and melee weapons restricted to claws, sparring types and maybe daggers as well (on the tail). Tentative name: Nthera (pronounced neh-thera) from the genus panthera

The power set would be geared towards team support:

Passive: Ancient Hunter

Companion abilities occur either more often or last longer

Ability 1: Size Shift

Lets Nthera shift between a small form (companion sized) and large form (twice as big as small form?).

Small Form: +25% speed boost, melee weapons do 50% damage at 125% attack speed, +25% fire rate for nearby allies

Large Form: Takes 50% damage, deal 50% ranged damage, 150% melee damage, +25% shield or armor for nearby allies

Ability 2: Hunter's Leap

Makes Nthera leap towards an enemy, dealing damage and opening them up to finishers.

Ability 3: Energising Roar

Nthera lets loose a loud roar that either; restores shields in its small form, or; grants energy in its large form, to allies.

Ability 4: Primary Target

Forces all enemies to attack the warframe, ignoring allies. All allies gain either a critical chance or status chance bonus based on the damage taken.

How about an amorphous warframe. Inspired by forma they are able to change their shape and composition for their powers so they can have a varied move set. Anything from making exalted weapons from its arms, to using part of itself to sumen a companion that fights with it. Pretty much a frame egos whole theme is that they are able to change themselves and have a fluid shape. Their appearance could even have the same effect that the coolant in the orb valis has where it looks like a liquid but is a solid.

Beast Morphing Frame.

Not going all out turning into a beast. More just they have an arm (and potentially helmets) that visually morphs based on what mythological beast the frame's abilities call upon. IE: Werewolf would cause the Arm to grow claws, Vampire would create webbing and energy coloured veins, Kraken (stepping on Hydroid's toes here) would create octopus-like suckers, Minotaur would create a Metallic wrist link and various scratches up the arm, etc. Whatever gets chosen by the ability design stage.

This isn't the abilities specifically but the gameplay theme would be about abilities being initially simple but using the theme of the initial ability's 'beast' to add additional effects and augment the next ability cast. Ability Combo-ing basically..

I dunno dude.

It would be really cool if we got a Nanobot themed Warframe! He or she would use nanobots to casts abilities, so like a fortify ability which increases armour, or a nanobot weapon, or even create a small army which marks enemies and attacks them! Marked enemies will receive more damage, depending on power strength of course.
You can get really creative with nanobots, especially if you factor in a passive ability which acts like a meter (similar to Nidus) for how much nanobots you have. The more nanobots you have, the stronger the abilities.

Blade dancer.

A smaller female warframe based on asian dual fan dancing. Can only equip one handed swords or daggers in it's three weapon slots and has exalted warfans.

Exalted Warfans:

Every hit while combo chain is active leaches energy from enemies stuck. The higher the combo the more energy leached.

Passive: Telekinesis

Exalted weapons are always equipped. The other equipped weapons float in a fan above the warframes head. Every third attack one of the floating blades randomly slashes at the last enemy hit. Deals a percentage of equipped weapons damage depending on ability power.

Ability 1: Blade Dance

Drains energy while active, each attack is followed by one of the three floating blades striking all enemies in their path.

Syndicate Mod: Blade Parry Drains energy with each deflected attack, blades circle the warframe deflecting incoming ranged fire. Each blade covers a 120 degree arc and receives parry while active, the percent to counter is based on ability strength.  Stacks with Parry mod? maybe?

Ability 2: Blade Lance

The floating blades point forward and shoot towards the nearest three enemies or all 3 to a single enemy. The blades punch thru anything in their path and return after reaching the edge of the warframes ability range.

Syndicate Mod: Blade boomerang makes the blades spin horizontally instead of a lance striking a wider range of enemies in its path or maybe ping pong between enemies for a duration.

Ability 3: Blade cannon

The floating blades spin in a cylinder pointing forward above the warframes shoulder like a cannon, inside it charges a ball of plasma and adding each weapons crit, status and damage stats to the plasma ball. While charging the warframe can't move, once fired the ball explodes on impact like a staticor dealing it's damage to a large radius. ability efficiency increases charge speed.

Syndicate Mod: Evasive dance, a percent chance to dodge incoming all non AOE attacks for X seconds, if blade dance is active each additional combo point reset the timer.

Ability 4: Charged Blades

The warframe jumps up into the air throwing all 5 weapons to the ground, lightning bolts bounce faster and faster between the 5 blades while charging. Once charged each blade unleashes its own amperex like bolt of energy at its nearest target dealing that blades damage to each enemy it arcs to until it reaches the warframes ability range. or number of targets increased by ability range.

Syndicate Mod: Blade Hurricane Drains energy while active, The warframe drops her fans and all 5 blades form a circle around her at chest height. While active the warframe moves like a gymnast with flips and twirls, the blades spin around the warframe while its moving. The longer the warframe moves the faster the blades spin and the stronger it pulls enemies in their ability range towards the whirling blades. Each balde deals it's damage to any enemy hit.

Don't know if anyone will read this far back, official or otherwise, but I feel me and ol Feynman can have a go once more, nothing ventured, nothing gained?

First, the art, provided by the illustrious EternalDrkMako and the talented-but-somehow-missing BURNINGTITANIUM226 .

Thematically speaking, the Feynman suit is of the "future soldier" archetype, Contrasting with Excalibur's "warriors of the ancient age" aspect. Wielding the weapons of tomorrow (grenades, atomic-lattice armor, exosuits, and the eponymous "grey-goo" abilities-wise), today, Feynman is one parts military discipline, two parts high technology, and all the bad mass you come to expect from a science fiction soldier protagonist.

Nichewise, the term "caster tank" has been banging around in my head since the day I completed the suit, an ability using frame which uses its abilities to push into enemy territory to take and hold the ground within, feeding off foes and using them as fuel for it's nanomolecular fire.

From becomeing a mobile construct that another Tenno can safely garrison inside of and shoot from as it blasts foes, to becomeing a roiling corridor-sweeping wave of grey goo to amass massive amounts of impermenant armor from, the suit is a powerhouse, as long as one is fluid with the situation at hand.

I have more to say, but, I've read the front entry, so, I'll just post the link for those who might be curious to read about the suit in detail, ol Feynman may even be in need of another modernizeing tune up from appraising eyes.

Stats, idle stances, detailing on abilities, etc.

Luck be with you self-sufficient art-and writing folks from me and the military missus.

who think of a betting warframe, that their skills are based on luck, like throwing a coin, here my idea about this
passive - when dying you have a chance of cheating death (avoid any damage for a short period of time or a cure)
1st skill - throws a red-hot device that has a chance of doing very little damage and slight stun or massive damage in a small area
2nd ability - this ability is likely to improve damage and defend the user or cause damage to him
3rd ability - this ability is likely to leave enemies in the air for a few seconds or make the warframe wobble
4th ability - the warframe invokes special projectiles (or weapons, like a exalted weapon) that vary between damage in area, massive damage to a single enemy or radiation effect shots

A bounty huntress (female frame).
A proud warrior that takes care of its weaponry and armor, with lots of tricks in the sleeves.

I see her with an exalted firearm as second ability, that could be cycled between dual pistol (semi) / rifle (auto) / sniper (single clip).
Obviously I love flamethrower, so whynot a flamethrower somewhere.

As passive I'd love to have something like "on aim-gliding, activate a ""jetpack"" that allows you to fly, consuming energy over time". Not a razerwing equivalent nor the hyldrin-copter, more something like the jetpack of a Mandalorian (yeah I know the inspiration was obvious, I admit it).

Then for the others abilities, well, the kit should make her capable of stealth kills (sniper), open-fight (assault rifle), close negociation (dual pistol). While not making her "too op", just like a Swiss Knife specialised in killing as efficiently as possible while beeing alone to be deployed.

The backstory would obviously mean she was a bounty huntress before, like the top-tier of her clan and got selected to become "more than a bounty hunter", or deadly wounded, whatever, that part isn't really important till it keeps the idea of the proud warrior taking care of her weaponry.

The idea is not to purely "plagia" Star Wars, but to inspire from the Mandalorian style, to turn it into a Warframe compatible "stance", without beeing a duplicate of any present frame (titania's razowring / hyldrin-copter / valkyr-grapling / chroma-flamer / vauban-grenads / mesa-pistols / ash-marking / ivara-stealthing / etc)

For her name ... "Mehra", no idea where that comes from, but it sounded nice in my head so why not ?

Subject: Master of martial arts that is able to adapt to any enemies and any situations.
Idea: Warframe with the ability to distribute characteristics during the mission.
Details: With the help of a skill, it raises one parameter at the expense of another.
Example: an increase in the damage dealt, due to an increase in damage on one's own or a decrease in protection; increased defense or damage reduction due to speed, etc.

P.S. This is only an idea, because the discussion of abilities and other things is not considered at this stage.

I am from Russia and do not use English often. Translated for speed through google translator.

Hello guys!

I realy want to play a Venom movie based warframe. You can poses your team mates give them buffs energy and protect them.

1. ability "poses" you posses one of your teammate giving him buffs (like abbilty strg) but also takeing away his hp slowly.

2. ability "eat or not" you eat an enemy far away like 10 meter away giving yourself if not possesd energy but if you poses somebody you give them energy instead of yourself.

3. ability "globe of flesh" you make a globe around your original position or your poses teammate like a frost buble, gain x hp and armor also can attack enemys and the enemys dmg your healt.

4. ability "pond of tentacles" it's a hydroid 4 and  wich working like his pond, possible loot frame ability.

So at the end you get a new ev wich also point defender and loot frame.

Combat Engineer

I know DE isn't going to want to consider a potential AFK frame, but the components are already there. We have the capability to deploy various walls, turrets, pets, drones, specters, health and energy recharge discs/pylons, etc. I'd like to see these concepts combined into a frame originally designed by the Orokin to support their forces, be they mundane troops or Tenno, by quickly establishing beachheads and small forward operating bases from which to push or defend.

(This is basically just how I feel Vauban should have been designed, given his namesake. Can and will argue against summoners simply being AFK material. Will refrain from additional details due to the nutshell concept nature of this thread.)

Also, my dear sweet Feynman aside, I feel like, if Digital were to coalesce all of the ideas from the first 9 pages, the result would be some manner of "swamp horror" frame that "summons" and controls plant life, animal life, and/or things that possibly blur the line between the two and has a slimey, bestial appearence, perhaps with a hint of insectoid tossed in.

Dem it, I wish I could discuss my work with other folks in here instead of being drowned in the tide.

Well, since I always wanted to do this: The theme here is as an angel. Now, I could give it a cheesey name, perhaps, like "seraph" or something, but I shall go with a concept I think you all will enjoy. We have yet to have a frame use this theme, too, so that's a bonus.

Yes, it'd be a male frame.

Midas.
The overall look will be somewhere in between "knightly" and angelic, the frame's abilities being based on CC. We need more CC frames, DE, and I shall propose one that does it in a manner befitting of the game!
final-fantasy-14-shadowbringers-innocenc

The idea behind midas is relatively simple, but I'd like to give players plenty to play with in terms of his kit. I'd rather he have a multitude of useful abilities that do...well, something neat, but not something that usurps other frames completely.

The first ability available to Midas would be called "Touch." The frame fires a beam of light from it's finger in an elegant fashion, that can be channeled, that serves to strip something from the enemy. Versus invested, this will be health. From grineer, this will be armor. From corpus, this will be shields. The beam's point of impact will have an aoe based on range, with the amount of armor/health/shield it strips/ damage it deals being contingent on power strength, of course. The enemy directly affected by the beam will be turned to gold, but only for a little bit. Something around 3-5 seconds base duration will do.
Now here's where the fun comes in! The beam can be used on Tenno to *restore* health. But if used on an enemy first, or a bunch of enemies, the tenno are gifted a bonus, with the bonus lasting for a base minute~! Likewise, if touch has been used on grinner, tenno will be gifted extra armor. If the beam was used on corpus, extra shields + overshields. Infested? Extra health, of course, with...maaaaybe a way to remove status effects, like toxin? You get the idea. Where we get to the interesting part shall be sentients; if used on sentients, it makes them more susceptible to void damage, and does extra damage on top of itself. But when used on your fellow tenno in this manner, they are granted void damage/extra damage on top of the attacks they swing! I initially toyed with the idea of extra energy, but...the frames are too....varied in average use to really put that to work. Also trinity exists. And other energy frames exist.

Well golly, that's just one ability. And it's the first ability, too. Now for the second one! This is where we get a minelayer style scroll ability with three parts. This one is called "Judement." Each places a beacon on the ground that lasts around 7 seconds at base, placed much like loki's decoy, with the beacon spawning where the crosshairs remain. The cast time will be 2.3 seconds. The beacon's durations would be 10 for "Unworthy", 15 for "Devout", and 12 for "Absolved."

Unworthy: "Judges your enemies unworthy to bear witness to you. Blinds enemies that draw in close, opening them up to finishers.

Devout: "Judges your enemies as faithful follower of your craft. Draws enemy fire, turning enemy damage into health orbs for nearby tenno."

Absolved: "Clears your enemies minds, temporarily absolving them of sin. Puts nearby enemies to sleep for the tower's remaining duration."

A neat little CC multi-tool for all your tenno needs, without overtly stepping on anyone's toes.

Now we get to ability three, which shall be a toggle-able self buff. Pressing once turns it on in the first place, granting a damage boost base on powerstrength, that eats energy based on duration and efficiency. Tapping it again instead changes it to a defense buff that scales the same as damage, but this time it instead provides damage reduction, rather than a blanket group of numbers. Essentially, it works like armor, rather than extra health.affected by this will receive a halo above their heads for the damage boost, whilst receiving a halo around their bodies for the defense boost. The idea here is that people can build for high powerstrength....quickly chewing through energy reserves, used primarily for bursts of damage or to tank a particularly strong attack....or they can build for duration, providing weaker frames with an overall higher survivability. This one shall be called...well, what do you think it should be known as, DE? Maybe just "Halo" or something like that. I couldn't come up with a name that was both in-theme and good for warframe that didn't sound like nezha's.

Las ability: The ultimate! This is where we get yet another multitool, this time in the form of s u m m o n s. Yay! This time we get three more seperate instances of the same thing; the first frame to have an ultimate like this. This one is called "Ultimatum." It's components are what make it strong, the mechanics inspired by how more traditional mmo abilities overlap with eachother. Holding the button triggers the cast, summoning forth a beast discernable as an angel, but you know. Warframey. Probably some sort of hunhow-like thing, but...a fair bit smaller. For starters, every beacon present on the battlefeild detonates, and the spawned in summon casts a radial wave that inflicts enemies with bleed. Additional effects vary on the specifics of the summon.

These are simply known as "First Angel, Second Angel, and Third angel" respectively.

First angel is rather mundane, but instrumental in the rest of the casts. First angel turns all enemies in range to gold; wonderful orokin gold. But you know, based on duration and all. Minimum duration shall be 12 seconds. This is, essentially, the primer; the second and third angels do less without the enemies in this state.

The second angel is where we begin dealing damage. Each enemy that has been turned to gold adds to the total damage, which is inflicted, in full, on the enemies, all at once...up to a cap. The damage that goes over the cap is banked; it all is released in an aoe from the third angel, that, however, causes damage over time rather than an explosive thing. If your gilded foes are still not dead, and still remain gold, continue useing the second and third angels.  When the enemies are dead, and more golden sacrifices are required, once more does the first angel come into play.

I think this'd scale nicely if the damage cap was a specific percentage of the enemy's health, like 35%-45%. This way the ability itself is now more involved than just "Press 4 to win." Now it's "Press 4 multiple times and absolutely destroy our enemy."

I hope this frame idea is worth your time!

TL;DR:
First ability is a cool laserbeam with mild cc and decent utility.

Second ability is CC towers utilizing various types. Shaped like swords, etc etc.

Third ability is a damage/armor toggle that can be used for bursting or endurance, if modded correctly.

The last ability summons a one of three big angel monsters that do murder justice big-time.

Overall theme is midas, angels, and g o o o l d.

Eldritch Geometry / *void magic* Geometry warframe

Sharp angular aesthetics, unhuman feel. Body may incorporate the visual effect used to show the space manipulated by their abilities.

(To not overlap with wisp or nova this probably would not have wormhole-themed abilities, more focusing on shape, position, and direction)

Here are some examples of the types of abilities that could fit with this theme:

Enemy and projectile repositioning (ex: Nova's new portals. Mag's magnetize, Vauban's vector pad)

Abilities that make other abilities or attacks come from another position (Mirage's hall of mirrors, Nidus link + stomp)

Abilities that create solid or semi-solid structure (ex: Gara's mass vitrify, Atlas's tectonics)

Damage shape changing, converting or boosting damage between IPS, (ex: old Khora, the + elemental to weapon augments for elemental frames)

Mobility abilities that aren't (or are more than) a buff or dash (ex: Wisp's 2 & 3, Valkyr's ripline, Nova's portal)

Ricocheting abilities (ex: Mirage's 4, thrown weapons)

If they have stat buffs on an ability: multishot, + max ricochet, punchthrough, reduced/increased spread, projectile speed/range, and/or ability range could make sense

I think a plant based warframe would be good, a warframe taken over by nature after being put into cryo sleep for so long that the suit and nature have merged to make something new, it could be made up of a multitude of greens, yellows, reds and other bright plant colors like poppies and tulips and such
