Soul Diving Warframe
A Warframe that can quickly dive into the bodies of enemies allowing you to literally play as the enemy.

This creates an endless new game play style allowing you to feel what it is like to fight as any of vast library of unique enemies.

But that’s not all.  This power can be used in many different ways.

- Quickly get the body you invaded killed and dive to next one.

- Find a powerful body to wreck havoc with.

- Dive into a support enemy and use their powers to to buff your team.

 

The more you know your enemy the better you will be.  The fun would be endless.

I want to make a half human half beast type warframe like Centaur. The lower body has four legs and the upper body is human. He charges with four legs and kicks off enemies behind with his back legs.

I really like the wacky design of the warframe.
This game feels like the spirit of all Digital Extreme staff.
Please do your best from now on.

a music based warframe, unlike octavia, centred around shawzin, and the frame would be mainly cloth in the style of miko (japanese priestess)
signature weapon would be a warfan because it's criminally underused

linkable abilities (like excal 1 or atlas 1) for abilities 1, 2 and 3, as they're needed to produce melodies
each abilities is linked with a certain melody, pressing the button will play the next note in the melody, so you can play different song by using specific abilities in different order.
 
playing the melody would build up some sort of resource that can be unleashed with ability 4, a final musical climax, resulting in warfan or thrown weapons as a statstick to attack all "enraptured" audiences/enemies or something similar . some sort of energy reduction buff associated with this resource as i imagine this frame needs lots of button presses while maintaining the melody. or maybe it can interact with melee combo counter?

also, the ability to change the output sound to any of owned shawzins (and maybe octavia's mandachord instruments as well?)

Name :Jadge(a combination of "jade"and "judge")
Inspire:Jade light which killed Margulis ,    Mermidon in the Ivara's story,    number "7",  Thanos
Background: Jadge was emotions less judger who had the power of the jade light.Commanded directly by the seven orokin emperors and used as a convenient tool.In order to have a completely controlled tool,the add seven locks on this warframe.With the authority of seven emperors,these seven locks could be removed.Then, the jade light will just wipe out the target accurately.at the moment of tenno's rebel,he was used immediately.However,without the limiters of orokin.The creators received their own judgement.Nowadays,as the time flows,the locks can be unlocked.But the fair judger is still wearing them——as a reminder of his own justice.

Abilities:
   passive:Seven oaths
           With each death,Jadge will unlock a seal and retrieve a part of his old power.Increase his basic status by 10%(max 70%)
           When Jadge revived by seven times(basic 5 times and 2 additional by equipment).He will enter the "Court form".lose the ability of moving and gain a powerful buff which changes his skills
   Skill 1:Force Hold/Highness Hold
         Force Hold:Gather the enemies in a area and give them lmpact damage.Use it again to lift them up and move swing them around to hit other enemies.
         Highness Hold:Gather the enemies in a area and give them radiant damage.Use it again to continuelly hold them till the dust.
   Skill 2:Justfiable Defence /Lex Talionis(Homomorphic Revenge)
         Justfiable Defence:Enemis attacked Jadge will fall down and get one automatic attack by the currently equiping weapon.
         Lex Talionis(Homomorphic Revenge):If an enemy caused a abnormal stat to jadge and his teammates,the enemy will get into the same stat.And,the enemy will be marked as guilty. 
   Skill 3:Initial Codex/Rebel record
         Initial Codex:Give himself an abnormal stats according to the melee weapon's mod,and apply it to all the enemies in range.
         Rebel record:Remove all the abnormal stats,and apply a skill range buff to teammates,all the enemies attacked by teammates will be marked as guilty
   Skill 4:Sacrifice Sentence/Supereme Sentence
         Sacrifice Sentence:Give the enemies a massive radiant damage,the next seven attacks made by jadge will apply a directly death effect.After these seven deadly attacks,Jadge will kill himself for once.
         Supereme Sentence:With a snapfinger,all the guilty enemies will receive a directly death attack one by one.

The Beastmaster

you are the beastmaster, able to change into ancient animals of lore. You can choose from the Druid, The Direbear, The Sabertooth, and the Eagle. 

In healer form, you can heal your allies and apply roots. In Direbear form, your damage reduction is legendary and you have knockbacks galore. In Sabertooth form, you apply bleeds to anyone within your range, as well as a pounce that pins even the strongest enemies in your grasp. In Eagle form, your speed increases drastically and allows you to take flight, also providing Eagle vision to scope enemies from a huge distance, even through walls. 
 

There is a clock at the bottom that is constantly moving between the four forms, and your ultimate ability activates whichever form you land on, unlocking that creature and you gain that creatures three abilities. Each creature is the beastmaster, and the beastmaster is all four creatures.

Ent, The Living Forest

This is my entry, Ent. A living forest weaponized as a Warframe.

Ent's abilities:
 

Passive: Voidsynthesis: Ent uses health to cast abilities, and lacks energy. Energy orbs also heal him, in addition to giving a portion of energy to nearby allies.
 

1) Neurotoxic Dust: Causes Ent to release a toxic gas around himself, slowing enemies and dealing a small amount of damage.
 

2) Seed: Ent shoots seeds out of his body, targetting all enemies in radius, rooting them for a small duration.

    Seeded enemies that are hit by other abilities suffer extra effects:
 

    - Neurotoxic Dust: Enemies become gradually more slow, then are paralyzed for a duration.

    - Invasive Nature: Rooted enemies take extra damage and are guaranteed to drop health orbs on death.

    - Root:

        - First cast: Main root will lash out and deal extra damage to rooted enemies.

        - Second cast: Draining rooted enemies also steals armor and gives a portion of it to Ent. Other players near Ent are also granted this armor increase.
 

3) Invasive Nature: Vines shoot out of Ent, slashing at enemies, dealing damage that scales with enemy level.
 

4) Root: Two part cast; Single instance.

    - First cast: Ent shoots roots into the ground, rooting himself and any enemies in its radius. The area expands as long as Ent himself is rooted. Duration of enemy root is dependant on how long Ent rooted himself for, affected by mods.

    - When first cast ends, a big root is left where Ent cast it.

    - Second cast: Ent can reactivate the root to start draining the rooted enemies for energy orbs, health orbs and ammunition. This also reduces the duration of the rooting by half.

Detailed descriptions, and thoughts behind design:

P) Voidsynthesis: There's no Warframe that uses health as a direct resource for abilities as heavily as this, the only other one being Nekros with his Desecrate augment, Despoil. It feels in place since Ent can generate health orbs pretty frequently. It also gives a good incentive to be around Ent since as an ally you'll constantly be provided with energy when he heals.

And well, the name is a simple play on "Photosynthesis" and "Void energy".

 

1) Neurotoxic Dust: Bread and butter skill, meant to be used as often as posible / desired. Seeded enemies that are paralyzed are affected in a way similar to Harrow's Condemn, but trading the long range for a smaller radius in all directions.
 

2) Seed: It's meant to give some synergy to his abilities, provide decent damage and reward players for staying in the fight, casting constantly. The initial root is meant to be a short duration crowd control, while also being useful if cast in tandem with Invasive Nature.
 

Seed's intent is not to be a "must use" ability, but to provide more depth to other abilities. Ideally the other abilities should still feel useful and strong without having to cast Seed first.
 

3) Invasive Nature: Simple AoE damage tool, useful when being overwhelmed, good "one-two" combo with Seed.
 

4) Root: Meant to give that feel of "Uncontrolled, wild, overgrown nature", providing good crowd control and decent benefits while also incentivizing players to choose between control of a situation or extra support.

The ability being "single instance" would force to choose instead of dropping a root for CC and then another for support.
 

The "expanding" part of the ability works a bit like Nova's Molecular Prime, or Mag's Polarize, while the "being rooted" bit is a kinda like the first part of Gara's Vitrify, being immobile for a short duration.

Id love a pyromaniac warframe that boosts heat damage (or damage in general) when on ignite status effect.
Having a passive that increases duration and reducing the effects from ignite status.
Skills like a molotov
An aura that boosts heat damage
A self damaging explosion as a ult

Here is my idea, I have the skills listed/explained but was going to hold off posting those until you requested them in the next portion of the contest.

 

Custom warframe idea:

 

Tartarus:

 

Tormented child Tenno, locked deep in an undersea vault under a joint Orikin/Sentient armistice project due to overwhelming power potential and unstable nature of frame and operator. Frame and operator have symbiotic relationship as volunteer subject for the Helminth virus chose to undergo the process in effort to better protect the child. The child's power is directly linked to the spiritual suffering it endures internally and causes externally.

 

Description- Unstable energy body void being wrapped in orokin technology chains and riddled with orokin and sentient void control charms (imagine prayer scrolls etc) creatures head is encased in an medieval looking subjugation helmet (man in the iron mask-esq.) The warframe floats slowly off the ground and moves in an almost haunting fashion constantly struggling against its restraints and periodically struggling in an almost 13 ghosts jerking style fits. Child’s skeletal silhouette can be seen suspended within the core of the energy beings form, fetal and wrapped in chains as well. 

(Short version):

 

Youngest child of those sent into the void connects to the incident with powers that replicate control over life force and souls, the child's age creates an inability to handle the constant haunting sensations and scary happenstance that revolves around his powers. As a proper Tenno the child's powers are unstable and seemingly limitless. In an effort to control the child's powers and provide him with a safe haven, a volunteer becomes a frame specifically suited to the Tenno which, inadvertently bonds with the Tenno beyond transference and merges the two in a ghostly union. After being set loose on the sentients, both sides are scared of its potential and work together temporarily to confine it. Years later the seals are breaking with currently active Tenno remembering its existence and searching for it to atone for their earlier assistance in sealing it away. 

 

 

History-

 

Tartarus was originally one of the children sent into the void by the Orokin but, due to their younger age they suffered in a larger capacity than the rest. Having gained the ability to interact with the soul like void presence of living beings the constant almost

haunting interactions slowly wore away at the child’s sanity. When the warframe project was conjoined with the Tenno a compassionate volunteer chose to join the project in an effort to provide the child with a safe frame to inhabit. The resulting high emotions led to an unstable union and resulted in a unique unseen before form of warframe. With the child empowered and refusing to leave the safety of its new body the Orokin had no choice but to keep the two locked in stasis as their combined powers seemed to be limitless and unpredictable. As the war raged on and the stakes raised the Orokin eventually relented against the remaining Tenno’s demands to risk releasing Tartarus in an almost controlled chaos approach against the sentinels. The results of that decision were shocking as during the battle, Tartarus seemingly lost control and not only obliterated his Sentient opponents but simultaneously scoured the immediate area of life as a direct byproduct.

 

Appalled by what had happened an immediate cease fire was called and both sides came together in an effort to contain and ultimately trap the rampant weapon. Such devastation did Tartarus wreak that even the remaining Tenno were forced to assist in it’s capture and containment. 

 

With Tartarus in stasis both sides collaborated in constructing a protective sarcophagus that would contain Tartarus which was then placed in a highly secure fortress vault that had been specifically located deep within the oceans of Neptune to further muffle the child’s cries which continued to afflict any and all void sensitives long after having been entombed. With the weapon now safely removed both forces left a number of automated defenses and safeguards in place and moved forward with their mutual destruction, safe in thinking that the worst was behind them. 

 

Centuries later, new events and increased planetary interference has destabilized once solid wards. An eerie sobbing can be heard by Tenno newly re-awoken. In the darkness of space a feint voice cries out of them for freedom and forgiveness.

 

“I am still here, please let me out.”

 

Current: 

 

Tenno all over hear the feint cries and whispered pleas. Memories surface of quashed guilt in the face of certain devastation. The Orokin are no more but, the Sentients still exist, they must rescue their sibling and give him the chance to prove his control. They were swayed to cage him once, yet this time they shall keep faith in him as they should have before. (Tenno go off on a quest to infiltrate the vault and free Tartarus, upon completion a reflective shard of the sarcophagus is brought onboard the ship where the original Tenno operator can be hazily seen interacting playfully with the player Tenno.)

Concept - Ink/Art-frame - Painting your Will into Reality

I envision they'd play/fight a bit like Splatoon (Smash version?), Okami, or Sai (Naruto) in terms of flexibility of their abilities, but since Okami-like controls aren't realistic for a non-touchscreen game, I'd advocate for allowing a directional input similar to Street Fighter, to allow the warframe to, with artistic strokes, impose their will on the battlefield, enemies, and allies. This would be a very skill-based Warframe with relatively lower-impact abilities, whose viability in endgame content would be feasible for those that can creatively weave manipulate the enemy and environment to their advantage, with their skillful use of various abilities working together.
