Warframe Ability Kit Ideas: 

1: Break: target an enemy to deal damage to them, possibility to break their weaponry.

2: Shield: Reach into the ground and unearth a broken shield to protect you.

3: Survive: Leech the health and Shields around you, healing you and allies within range. (Kind of like Shield Pillage but for health and applying to allies)

4: Erode: Break all nearby enemies and gain a damage buff for you and your allies for every enemy within that area.

Passive: Deal more damage to enemies suffering Break, Aura mods will carry this as a Secondary Attribute.

passive:  abilities do void damage to sentients, other wise they do magnetic damage

 

1) summon void tentacles to hold down enemies while stealing their health

 

2) surround you and your allies in void tentacles that strike any enemies that get to close

 

3) disregard your body and become pure void energy healing any ally that's close to you (can't go to far from your body) (enemies have a 50% of being spooked and run away when seeing you)

 

4) summon a void storm that damages enemies caught in the storm while void tentacles randomly appear and hold enemies down

Flicks his wrist , detaches and Turns his right (MECH) hand around in orbit 

Void Energy Bursts Dismantling from his body (from within the place where his arm once was) furiously seeking nearby enemies dealing 500 -1000 Void dmg to nearby enemies with choking state (to living creatures) and blinding effect ( to robotics)

(costs 100 Shields)

3.)Sacrefice:

Stabs himself with Parazon blade breaking of the links within his own body of his DARK state realeasing void Energy in result.

Sudden scream deafens all enemies within a 15 meter radius ( 5 sec stagger)  , then sets them abalze (with void Energy)  procing heat ( for the heat proc duration) and grants himself extra 7% void damage  per enemy affected for 20 seconds. ( when ability is over links grow back)

( costs 50 Health , can killhimself and drain Energy if not used properly )

4) Exalted Tech

(Tapping changes stances)

Holsters all his weapons channel his Void Energy through MECH/DARK body and takes fight Litteraly into his own hands.

 

(Stance that uses only his Left hand,  as a dagger).

Exalted custom dagger weapon that Opens Enemies into parazon finishers after 8 hits amount of hits required decreses on amount of power strenght.

 

(Stance that uses only his Right hand,  and left leg - slow hits ,heavy damage)

Exalted custom hammer weapon , Broken warframe picks up his leg  attaches to his hand and turns it into a Heavy hammer.

( Channeling ability - Drains Energy per Second)

Ability 1: Void root grab. in this strike void roots extend to grapple the target and pulls them to the player. following this the target is corrupted by the roots and turned to an ally until death.

Ability 2: Void tree repair. void tendrils surround the warframe dealing damage in an Aoe strike and heals the Broken Frame.

ability 3: Void tree sprouts. Casting this ability will cause all dead or corrupted hostiles to turn into small buff trees that stagger and stall any who are not corrupted or already dead.

ability 4: Great void tree. Summons a void tree which gives a buff to all nearby warframes and a debuff to all hostile elements.

passive: Allies who are near corrupted beings get a small healing pulse with a small healing Aoe.

1.Souldrain : An Bodypart is attaching itself to the enemy targeted and draining lifeforce, which is then stored in the bodypart, if button is hold, it returns(and damages enemys in the way,deosnt drain) and gives the drained lifeforce to the warframe over time or instant(if hold longer)(can be activated as many times as he has parts(needs a number) but each part missing in his normal body reduces max hp by 10%)(in place of the parts he extends his tendrils to move)(targeted allies can be healed whilst losing 10% max HP per cast(always instant))

 

2.Assemble: Uses Armor from nearby enemys and attaches it to itself to gain 15 armor stacking per enemy for 20 seconds (cap 25 stacks), an armor stack gets removed everytime the warframe is hitted 2 times from any attack(the enemy destroying one stack will get hit by it for „Total Armor value“ damage

(Cost 35% current HP | Min 15% Max HP)

 

3.Selfdrain: Selfdrain increases the passives selfdamage and charge up of  by x2?

 

4.Decay: Use the Heart as an Weapon (every hit fills up a bit of the passive from the Heart)

 

1 Passive Stress/Heart of Decay : if enemys are within 150m constant unblockable damage everytime an Stress cycle has been filled the charge (normally every 5sec), the Heart beats and an shockwave damages every enemy in 7m while also draining some of their lifeforce (0,25% Max HP/enemy hit)(can heal nearby allies)

 

-I am not sure about the 4th ability but as for the passive it seems the best way to use it effectively

I'm thinking a binding ability maybe like Nidus or Titania where it gives some kind of secondary effect along with being binded. An aura that deals damage in an area. Also some kind of agro to the person using it for a short time within a given radius would be a nice ability I haven't seen used before. Also make its ability around the energy that holds it together. Along with incorporating what frames it's made from into like the void color similar to say, chroma. Where it's energy gives it different effects from the energy color but take chroma's idea further by mixing colors you can give it things like corrosive or radiation maybe as a final fourth ability usage. For a passive, I'm going with as it's abilities gets used more and more it will make its energy holding it together, energising, causing extra effects when it gets to certain points of being energized

I also suggested these on Twitter

Maybe a thing where she launches the fingers off of her red arm and they could Pierce the enemy or create an effect that amplifies based on the amount of fingers gone or something on she is looking to regain her power so she will have the void roots grab things and leech the enemies powers. The concept of ult thief everyone has had seems good for a 4th maybe an ability where the roots all leave becoming a separate controlled being That can create a void explosion and then drag the rest of the frame back, like a micro transferance. I feel the roots give us a great opportunity to make a frame based on the void and it's properties, or you could expand upon them. Another ability would be a cool way to either enhance her abilities at the sacrifice of parts of her body which you could slowly regain like a passive or a collector style thing of picking up enemy weapons and using those to power abilities. I feel the first thing would be better for the concept of a broken frame though.

Ability 1. Burst Blaze.

Punches the ground with the red fist to create a flame burst that is targeted forwards that would ignite the ground in a trail that does minimal damage but causes heat status effects.

Ability 2. Energy Coil.

Is a stomp that would cover the immediate area in the weird white tentacles that slowly generate energy for him and teammates. 

Ability 3. Caesar's Repulse. (Hope you get the reference)

Creates a bubble shield around the warframe that follows and deflects enemy presence by non lethally pushing them back and knocking them down.

Ability 4. Cloak of the Damned.

Covers body with an aura of void energy that would drain health and cause health and energy regeneration.

Passive. 

If there is no melee equipped he can enlarge the white tentacles into a whip that would do radiation damage.

So to simplify everything, I'll refer to the warframe as "Broken"

Passive: Sharpen - Gain a boost to damage when shields are damaged.

Ability 1: Shatter - Broken fires a force wave from its palms at an enemy dealing damage in the form of Impact. Strips a percent of armour off the enemy. Enemies also drops "Parts". The "Parts" collected show in a meter (Max 10 "Parts"). Uses health to cast.

Ability 2: Crack - Lose a portion of Broken's health to gain a boost in damage. Can stack 5 times. Uses health to cast. Health saved based on Ability Efficiency.

Ability 3: Reform -  Broken uses all collected "Parts" in the meter to gain a armour boost, 1 "Part" = 10%. Heals a portion of your health. Uses energy to cast. Based on Ability Strength.

Ability 4: Divide and Conquer- Broken can also use the "Parts" to summon his clone. This clone will fight alongside Broken. The clone will have a boost to health and damage. Casting Reform will cause the clone to join itself to Broken and giving Broken X% increase to stats. Percentage based on Ability Strength. Lasts for X seconds. Based on Ability Duration.

Hi all mine concept would be go crazy and mad.Abilities would depend on parts used to assemble the warframe first ability would be from neuroptics used to build second from chassis third from systems and forth could be sort of void energy shield with 180 degrees of cover stationary but player could send that shield in direction its facing to slow enemies down for a remaining duration of shield,could also make multiple shields.Shield would degrade its strength over time from 100 to 60% enemies who would enter the stationary barrier would slow down and got confused drop their weapons attack their allay's that sort of thing.Passive ability could be energy weapons would reload much faster.

So its a frankenstein frame that's made up of bits of dead warframes? Sort of treading on Revenant's theme but whatever, different enough I guess.

If he's a frame being held together by void energy, shouldn't he be dealing void damage as part of his kit?

Some ideas for abilities -

Passives - 

Gruesome Assimilation : Upon performing a mercy kill (as in, the thing you do to an enemy with a parazon, not a finisher) on an enemy, there's a unique animation where Broken Frame proceeds to absorb his target. Regains Health and provides a 10 second buff, which varies on what faction the target belongs to. If Grineer - Damage Resistance. If Corpus - Increased Damage. If Infested - Health Regen. If Corrupted - Increased Drop Rates. If Sentient - Melee attacks deal true damage.

Life is power - Due to the nature of his physiology, Broken does not use energy to cast his abilities. All powers are cast using health.

First Ability - 

Greedy tendril : Snatches an enemy within 10 meters, dealing void damage with a chance to stun. If the target is on low enough health to be ended with a mercy kill after the attack ends, Broken immediately uses Gruesome Assimilation.

Second Ability - 

Consuming blast : Sacrifices some health to fire a powerful, short ranged AoE void blast, that drains the life force of those it hits. Returns health per enemy killed

Third Ability - 

Depends on if used on an ally or an enemy

Mend - Sacrifices some health to heal an ally (basically tears a part of himself off and shoves into into another frame)...

Rend - Requires an enemy corpse. Consumes it to regain health. This does not cost health to do, but can only be done when health is low enough.

Fourth ability -

What is Broken Must be Made Whole (may need a better name)

Tendrils of void energy lash out and ensnare surrounding enemies. If a certain number of enemies are killed, they are physically incorporated into Broken, turning him into a big meat golem, with a separate health bar that begins to drain constantly. This state will continue until the health bar is completely drained, at which point the ability ends. Killing enemies in this state activates his passive.

passive("quick fix"): after taking a certain amount of damage a piece of the frame will fall off, this piece can be picked back up to heal a small amount

ability 1("charge"): the user channels the void energy that holds their frame together into their weapons, allowing the weapons to deal void damage, but slowing the frame's movements.

ability 2("extension"): taking advantage of the broken frames nature, the operator extends the energy connecting one of their arms, and allowing said arm to be used as a whip/flail and eventually as a grappling hook.

ability 3("meditate"): taking pause for a moment, the operator begins channeling more of the voids power, regenerating their energy.

ability 4("remnants of the past"): the ultimate is determined by the systems used when making this frame.

building this frame would need parts from other frames(like Chroma)

Mad Craving:

The skill damage (count your summons) scale with your maximum energy.
when reaching 750 maximum energy (only with base stats)the lethal impacts you receive will be stopped and instead energy will be drained to stop said impact with 50% efficiency
The appearance will change reaching 750 energy.

Absorption / liberation:    
Channel

Press once to start absorbing energy from the hands and chest, doing so you cannot use weapons, only abilities and reduces your movement speed while active.
This energy they absorb is percentage and is 5 - 8% (can be upgrade by mods the warframe).
While you are penalized with disabled weapons and reduced movement speed of up to 25%.

Press and hold to summon a creature from the void for 15 seconds (increased by duration), for every 200 maximum energy points you have (as a characteristic) another creature from the void is additionally summoned.

Characteristics of these creatures: They have low damage but they scale well with your maximum energy, they attack every 2 seconds and move fast when approaching ABADDON.
Being 30m away from ABADDON they will return with great speed to the direction of ABADDON.
-can be refreshed-

Cost: 50 + 10% maximum energy(if your max energy is 400 it will cost you 50 + 40)
(efficiency affects this ability)

Skill 2:
Void Call:

You summon 2 very powerful void floating creatures, they always stay close to ABADDON no matter how much it moves from the place. They have a 35m range of vision (upgradeable by power range), fire every 3 seconds (not upgradeable)

When reaching 1000 maximum energy this ability can summon a 3rd floating creature with 25% more damage (upgradeable by power strength)
-can be refreshed-
These summons are the deadliest because they fire an immense armor-piercing beam, dealing good damage and scaling very powerfully. It is a shot similar to a destructive beam, only that it only performs 1 tic with a lot of damage that goes through all the enemies aligned to the shot.

Duration time:10/12,5/15/17,5/20 seconds
Cost: 75+15% maximum energy (eficiency affects this skill)

Skill 3: 
Void Ancestor:

You summon a large non-attacking creature, it will absorb enemies that die in combat within 10/15/20 / 25m (upgradeable with power range). When it absorbs 10 enemies the area of effect will regenerate health, 100/200/300 (upgradeable with power force) health for 3 seconds.
By absorbing up to 50 enemies the Void Ancestor will warn you that they can perform the sacrifice.

When an ally falls in combat and the parent of the void has 50 or more charges, he sacrifices himself and instantly revives the fallen ally.

Cost: 50 + 10% maximum energy
Drain 3 enery per sec after summon.

Skill 4:

Inestable Power:

Increases the attack speed of all your summons by 30/40/50% (increase by power strength) and adds 5 seconds duration to all active summons (1 and 2) Hold this ability to be able to manually aim at Where do you want them to fire your summons.

Duratión: 6/8/10 seconds (increase by power strength) 
Cost: 200 + 50% maximum energy

As far as appearances go I was thinking it had some limbs be detached and held together by void energy, with twisted metal being a detail about how the frame came to be broken. For the abilties I was thinking horror as the main theme of the frame with the abilities being; Passive - while undetected move (num value) faster and become (num value) harder to detect, additionally this frame has no energy, instead it uses health to cast its abilities. mods that would increase energy now increase hp by 110% of the energy it would increase and efficiency decreases amount of hp consumed. Ability 1 (Transfer) - disconnect a part of the frame and impale an enemy while the enemy is still alive they grant (30%/33%/36%/40%) what ever armor/shield they have and the limb slowly drains their health restoring your health. This ability takes (100hp/150hp/200hp/250hp) to cast and lasts (5/10/15/20seconds). Ability 2 (interference) - the frame rips out it own soul and the soul travels as if it were undetected, while in this form you can't use abilities, shoot, or melee, but move significantly faster. When the ability runs out the frame appears where the soul is and you are no longer detected recast to cancel and appear early. This ability last (8/11/13/15 seconds) and takes (25hp/50hp/75hp/100hp) to cast. Ability 3 (horror show) - shoot a piece of your frame at an enemy, if it kills the enemy, the enemy is gored and leaves behind a field that slows and decreases accuracy. This ability slows (10%/17%/24%/30%) has a (5m/7m/9m/11m) radius and last (7/9/11/13seconds). Ability 4 (shrapnel storm) - explodes and sends shrapnel out out in all directions, these shards do 2,000 puncture damage and bounce once, if they kill they drop the shrapnel to pick up and heal. This ability takes (200hp/250hp/300hp/350hp) and restores 10hp per shard.

Passive: entwined as one- each tethered ally gains 10% armor per tethered ally, gains 0.25 energy per tethered enemy.                                                                            ability 1: longing to be whole- toggle, void tendrils eminate from broken tethering enemies to him dealing low damage while slowly healing himself.                                                                               Ability 2: binded by fate- toggle, broken's tentrils tether to allies giving them a small health buff, while giving broken +25 Max energy per ally. (Longing to be whole's range will use tethered allies as a extra starting point, counting them as a part of broken.).                                                                                                                Ability 3: Acclimatization- 100 energy. 5 seconds on use. (20 seconds at Max rank) adjusting to the new found sources tethered to him broken's tentrils surge, draining enemies quicker while passing a portion of his power to allies (longing to be whole's damage and tick rate doubles. Longing to be whole's healing now goes to allies as well.).                                                                                   Ability 4: Legions Armory- 100 energy first use, 75 energy after. Broken asmilates a portion of his allies power as his own, copying ability 1,2,3,4 from allies and enabling a selection similar to ivara's quiver (ability 1,2,3 are selected from each ally respectively while 4 will be a random ability 4 from allies)

Iv been thinking realy hard about the abilitys for all the qualifying frames heres what i came up with for the shaterd frame 

Passive the more void energy absorbed the more armor and damage the frame has once filled up all the way the frames aperince changes becoming more of a whole frame 

Ability one charged space broken tares a hole from our plain of existens to the void infusing the area and enemys with dangerous amounts of void energy damaging enemys healing allies that are near the opening

Ability two cosmic drain  drain a targeted enemy of the void energy in there body damaging the enemy and depending on what type of enemy it powers up a warframe fragment making the third ability diffrent for each 

Ability three past fragments depending on which enemy is drained the third ability changes 

Grineer = toxic aura toxic gas surounds the frame enemys that get close are infected with the gas spreading it to others they get near 

Corpus= magnetic overcharg a masive wave of magnetic energy bursts from the frame disorenting enemys and draining there energy to give it to the frame and allies  

Infested= parasitic tuch melee damage delt to enemys drains a portion of the enemys health restoring the frames health

Sentiant= adaptive shealding any damage after a surten number of hits delt to the frames shealds gets adapted to redusing that damage type by 20% 

Forth ability voids embrace sacrafice half of the stored void energy overcharging all fragments giving a portion of all fragments abilitys to the frame  

Grineer fragment  = increases armor by X%

Corpus fragment = increases shealds by X%

Infested fragment = increasas health by X%

Sentient fragment = Increases  damage by X%

Passive- Spare Parts- Near warframes gain the “missing pieces” from your warframe getting an armor boost

Ability 1-Scourge Strike - (depending on range/strength) attack fewer enemies for higher damage or increase range for a chain lightning effect for crowd control.

Ability 2- Lurch - lunge forward with an AoE that heals other warframes and emits energy toward objects such as lures or mission objectives healing them as well

Ability 3- Aggro - drain substantial energy to attract all the enemies within X amount of distance then slowly drain energy until toggled off.

Ability 4- Detonation- Send hot metal flying in all directions damaging enemies and stripping armor

Hey all! Here is my submission for this interesting warframe (Probably won't take me from Octavia though)
 

Passive: Adaptation

Enemies will drop parts of which the warframe can use to augment their survivability based on the faction killed, decaying slowly over time.

 -Grineer: Drops armor that can be applied to the warframe adding 1-50% increase in armor. 1 part = 1% of armor
 -Corpus: Drops Energy Cells that can be applied to augment shield capacity adding 1-50% increase in shields. 1 part = 1% of shields
 -Infested: Drops matter that can be used to bolster the warframe's health, increasing health from 1 to 50%. 1 Organic Matter = 1% of health
 -Sentient: Drops sentient cores that can be used to augment resistances. Increasing global resistance from 1 to 25%. 1 Sentient core = 1% Resistance

Primary Ability: Void Leech
 Void tendrils lurch forward in a straight line, piercing all enemies and siphoning health for 1 second. Healing the warframe for 25% of damage dealt.

Secondary Ability: Ethereal Rush

 The warframe drops it's body and uses the void energy keeping it together to rush forward with 100% increased move speed for 2 seconds, dealing damage to all enemies it passes through. At the end of those two seconds, the body parts left from the original location reassemble at the new location, knocking down enemies and dealing impact damage, enemies affected by the first pass through suffer double damage.

Third Ability: Ancient Strength

The warframe utilizes ancient power stored form the reassembled warframe parts that make up it's body.

Toggle-able between three types of abilities.

-Ion Cannon: Reassembles an arm cannon from a forgotten warframe and fires a blast of concussive energy in a straight line, dealing blast damage and knocking enemies down.
-Creeping Needles: The warframe slams and plants its arms into the ground, using metal manipulating energy to form spiked needles in a short radius around the warframe, dealing piercing damage to enemies caught in the circle and leaving them impaled for 3 seconds before the needles destabilize.
-Guillotine blades: Arm blades from an ancient warframe manifest along the wrists of the warframe, sending it into three wide arching swings, dealing slash damage and pushing enemies in line of the attack.

Warframe Ability: Aggressive Harvest

The warframe lashes void tendrils in all directions piercing enemies within reach and line of sight and becoming invulnerable. After 3 seconds, all enemies are drawn to the warframe, stealing armor, health and shields for two seconds, after which the warframe will drop invulnerability and all enemies and mark them to take 25% increased damage from all sources for ten seconds. Ability can be charged for increased duration, but at the downside of being a very expensive ability.

Theory for Warframe. Adaptive warframe that can bring some moderate damage, strong CC from excellent mechanical use of abilities 1 2 and 3 to assist allies with damage mitigation and destructive capabilities.

Passive- Amalgam Chassis: The Broken cannot increase its maximum health, instead, increases to its maximum HP increase its armor. (This includes mods, but not levels)

The Broken's health is divide into four segments, with each segment having the same value. (HP/4)

When enough damage is taken to "clear" a segment, it is removed, and can not be healed back by normal means. The Broken regenerates segments over time. The Segment  is not active until it has fully regenerated.

The broken also has an Amalgam counter. Certain abilities give the Broken Amalgam. The higher amount of Amalgam you have, the faster you regenerate Segments, up to 100% faster. 

Ability 1- Cannibalize: On first cast, targets within a cone are pierced with tendrils of void energy, tethering them to the broken. This deals damage, and stuns them for the duration of the tether. While tethered you cannot use weapons or move, but have damage reduction. (This has a small energy cost, with a cost per second as long as an enemy is tethered) Upon second activation, the Broken rips the tether out of all effected targets, dealing damage and knocking them over. 

If an enemy dies as a result of the damage from either entering, leaving, or another source of damage, the tendril then drags the armor of the slain enemy to the broken. The broken then gains Amalgam relative to the enemy type (Troopers < Heavy Gunners)

Ability 2- Disjoint: Send a pulse of energy out in a small radius around the Broken. Enemies that are currently tethered take double damage, and are dealt damage at any range as long as they are tethered. (Low cost spam ability)

Ability 3- Formation: At the cost of 50 of your Amalgam, instantly regenerate a Segment. If you are at full HP, you get a decaying Segment that cannot regenerate. This can be cast while cannibalize is active.

Ability 4- Catapult: Rip of several parts off of yourself and throw them in a cone. This costs one Segment, or all segments above 4, dealing bonus damage for ever segment used. This can be cast while cannibalize is active.

I like to think that the energy part of his body is void energy and one idea for his ultimate is this; the energy would stop holding up his broken parts and he'll form into a full body of void energy. While in this form he could strike enemies with void energy, he will be more durable, his abilities would deal more damage and have more range. Instead of modding an exalted weapon players would mod his exalted state (kind of like modding a normal exalted weapon but instead player would use warframe mods: continuity, stretch, intensify, to effect his void form) Once his time is up e'll return to his broken parts. This is just one idea for one ability.
