condimentking Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 12th most played game on Steam in 2020. But still ppl who reaches MR10 are like roughly at 25% of the populations. Any newbies now can open wiki about increasing affinity unlike in the old days. I even put on how to level up on dojo message board. And i afraid WF will loses its charm if the levelling up guide is displayed at the commercial. Any solution about this? 😂

I don’t know what you mean by “old days”. One solution is to make MR more meaningful so people see value you increasing it. Alternatively, make the game less grindy.

I get caught of lack info. 😂 Bc i asked in the lobby for it in the past, hhe... . Good point, bc everything achievable on MR are in the statistics, makes increased trade counts, lvlling easier, access to high MR weapon and riven, new contents, etc. Not actually visible and make u "Wow, high MR, i get to take this sht!" I'm a merchant so i needed those. And high MR means nothing is in the community mouth to mouth alr. Less grindy is, actually the main problem from the start? My friend quits at 7, the grindfest israel, he said. 😂 But the system alr there, and changing the whole thing can summon backlash in another, the depth also israel... .
Methanoid Posted March 7, 2020 Posted March 7, 2020 warframe has always needed players to run off to the wiki for the vast majority of needed information, unless that changes (which wont because it involves a lot of ingame work) then nothing will change, nothing has changed.
Sniperfox47 Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Low player retention is a thing in all MMOs. It's not an inherently bad thing. I had 3 players join on switch recently. They logged in, did Vor's Prize, and have since not logged on because they've been busy with Minecraft and Overwatch. Life happens and a lot of games, especially free games, fail to hold people's interest.
