so after trying to update my pc im greated with this error over and over,

after starting launcher it jumps back to 9mb or 10mb this repeats until it this error message comes up

Have you tried reinstalling Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables? Uninstall 2015-2019 x86 and x64 (it is normal to not have them all) and then reinstall x86 and x64 from Microsoft.

You can also try turning off bulk and agressive download in the launcher as I've seen that help with this before.

well i tried that but  it didn't work either 

I found a fix for the problem i tried using a VPN and the game downloaded all updates now i'm finally able to play.

i hope this works for anybody else who has the same problem
