New rendering further exacerbates the sorry state of Wukong Samadhi

Watching how the light illuminates and reflects off of different parts of your Warframe as you slowly rotate them in the arsenal is truly a joy to look at now. With one sad exception..

As you can see, the stone parts of Wukong Deluxe are completely flat - light doesn't interact with them at all. Paired with poor, blurry textures, it looks rather underwhelming to say in the least. Luckily, we have another skin that uses stone as a material to compare it to.

Quite the difference, no? To make matters worse, the current state of Wukong Samadhi isn't what I, and many other people, paid plat for. I don't have a full rotation recording for that one sadly, just a screenshot, but it's still easy to see that the stone did in fact reflect light before. It all changed with the infamous mainline roughly 6 months ago that changed how metallics and a lot of other materials look.

I want justice for the monkey. That's all.

You do know that the Deferred Rendering is still an experimental feature, right?

No, You're absolutely right on the issue presented with your feedback, and there's a Megathread active that we can use to speed up its improvement with our feedback. You should probably take a look into it for further info and probably...

... I don't know, contribute with your Feedback there so that they can take a look at it and at more things that you've probably found in the meantime while using Deferred Rendering...?

... We all Lift Together, after all. We should probably also do that without looking at our bellybuttons first.

Absolutely, but it's not an issue that's exclusive to Deferred Rendering. My point was only that with how good and appealing light interactions are there, this skin's condition stands out like a sore thumb even more. But it's just as flat and unreflective in the old mode, too.

The Atlas skin materials on Deferred rendering are glossy by mistake. Only items released from late June/July onwards behave properly. It's September 2019 all over again.

So not a real way to compare it.

He does reflect light with old rendering still, albeit much more moderately, which is admittedly befitting of stone. Again, the point is that Wukong Samadhi has no light interaction whatsoever, regardless of rendering. In Deferred it's just even more obnoxious because light on other surfaces is more noticeable.
