Oh yeah. The weapon swap speed is painful.

Walk into a nullifier... put away your weapon.. bring out the new weapon.. strike a pose.. ready. -_-
He's an absolute no go to me on Corpus because of that.
Mostly I blame Nullis, but Baruuk sure ain't makin' them any better to fight.

It’s supposed to be an incredibly strong ability, and with the changes to reactive Storm it may just have finally achieved that. So I say the slow cast animation is justified. Also I just like hearing the didgeridoo sound of “Turn Away”.

But why isnt it affected by Natural Talent? Now THAT doesnt make any sense.

I mean, it's not like (unaugmented) Peacemaker where you're kinda encouraged to toggle it on and off frequently,
you're supposed / easily enough able to have it on for a good while (and can switch to gun usage and back instantly)
so while the animation length may indeed be a bit excessive, I never found it to be an actual problem
(not least since, unlike e.g. Nekros casting a fresh batch of Shadows, you can protect yourself before starting the cast).

Well ... don't do that 😛

Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't his 4 actually hurt Nullifier bubbles? (Plus of course, quick swap to guns is an option.)

Combined with mass CC and 90% damage reduction, Baruuk doesn't need to hurry to deal with that Nullifier,
he can take it easy and plink away at the bubble / drone from the outside.
