Another Acrid Thread

Why don't we just make it so that enemies are unable to be killed by its DoT damage? So you fire a needle, and it only brings down an enemy's health to 1 instead of killing it entirely (and will still bring its shields down to zero if they begin to recover), so it has to be damaged by something than Acrid's DoT in order to lose that 1 health. All other aspects are unaffected entirely.

 

This way, it'll still be the DPS king and the best bossing weapon in the game, but it will lose its fire-and-forget utility against regular monsters that it can currently take out in a single hit. This way, it fills a more specific niche in the game (that is, DPS) without being the "OP" all-rounder that's the best at everything.

Not even speaking of an accuracy like a bolto at best. Ever see two bullets via multishot missing an enemy left and right each? xD

 

The problem is probably that people bring it so lower level content, where the acrid wreaks havoc if already fully modded or at least half of it.

acrid is ok like it is, such a limitation only will annoy player but changes nothing.

Scenario: u hurt ur enemy to 1 hp

what happens next?Sentinel will kill the enemy and not wait for u  till u changes ur guns

and if i´m not wrong djin has 50m range and can kill all in this range now in secunds cause only one bullet have to hit
