Its been months since the Arloo events and the only place we can found them right now is in the "Emissary Derelicts". What happen to them?

latest?cb=20200308043403latest?cb=20200308043831

Werent they supposed to be new generic infested units in any high level infested missions? or at least in railjack derelict inside the Veil proxima like teased at the last Tennocon? Infested really need new units because right now they are more clones than the grineer themself.

Révélation

Ps: Sorry for my Bad english.

I have been asking the same question, These are the only new infested units that have been added since the mutalist fiasco. They said they wanted to stop forgetting about the infestation but then post nightwave 2 forgot entirely about the infestation.

It's funny. Infested spawn pods spawn units like runners and chargers that should only be able to exist in that form because the infested transformed a normal lifeform. I think whatever comes out of spawn pods needs to be replaced with unique creatures.

infested need more units. more "pretty" units aka Arlo and tossed salad. "IT" has learned that it will catch more with honey versus vinegar

isnt it "pure" coincidence that that only person that the Sentients would be able to turn to to mass produce Amalgams is also the only person who "healed" themselves of the Infestation? Infested Hive mind is just salivating over its common basic troops having Sentient resistances and abilities.

but carry on pretending the Infested are the weak faction

Sentients are immune though, so that one you'll have to forget about.

They're immune to the current strain. Arlo's strain was quite different from the rest, so there's no telling that the sentient are immune to any possible strain of the technocyte.

Edit: Also the sentient are immune because of their adaptation right? That doesn't mean they are prevented from consensually merging with the technocyte Alad-V style.

Even our Warframes were immune to the influence of Arlo's strain. The Sentients would have no issue adapting to any strain of the Infested (original from the Old War as the Technovirus to modern day Infested). The only thing they can't adapt to is the Void, but

Spoiler

From "Erra", Natah might say otherwise

Adapting yeah, but what about consensual merging? What about doing as natah and embracing our wickedness, not just the wickedness of void but that of plague as well. Turn our very weapons against us.

Spoiler

Especially since at least in Natah's case she's clearly not beyond merging Sentient with the inferior Bios. Just look at the Amalgams.

Eh I don't think they would adapt, they're just flat out immune to the technocyte on a whole just like the tenno and warframes (although warframes are immune because they're of the helminth strain)

I doubt she would do that with the infested, she already has all she need for bios in the corpus no need to add a viral hivemind to that.
