Warframe Concept: Light

This is a Warframe that is based on light as its main element, therefore it will include its own damage and "Light" status effect which is a more concentrated and special version of the "Heat" status. It could be compared to Angels based Warframe but it is not its main theme. It will be focused on Support.

Passive: Light defense

Enemies who directly see the Warframe have a slight chance of being blinded for 6s. The probability and time increases as close as 12s to less than 5m.

New state / damage exclusive to their abilities, Light: the bodies of the enemies reflect the light making these and others close to 5m be blind for a maximum time of 6s, the body that reflects will receive damage and state of heat per second that will depend from the damage of the ability that caused it. Working in a similar way to the toxic cloud of Gas.

 

1) Bright Bleeding

Aim at a surface to create a round area of light that blinds and applies the "Light" state, the state's damage increases as affected enemies stay longer in the ability's range, attacking the ability on enemies or allies will cause that sticks to them.

  • Damage Increase / Second +25% [Ability Strength]
  • Damage 90 [Ability Strength]

 

2) Photonic Reflection

Wrap nearby allies (and himself) in a protective light that prevents detection of enemy lasers and cameras. Going through the Bright Bleeding range works as an increase in armor and adds an opportunity to avoid status affects. The advantage disappears at the end of the skill time.

  • Duration 25s [Ability Duration]
  • Range 30m [Ability Range]
  • Probability of avoiding states 20% [Ability Strength]
  • Armor +75% [Ability Strength]

 

3) Photon Burst

Absorb the surrounding light and a percentage of the shields to convert it into energy regeneration for you and allies, toggle to select the effect of the ability when reactivating it:

  • Regenerate 4 Energy / Second [Ability Strength]
  • Consumes 15 Shield / Second [Ability Efficiency]
  • Range 35m [Ability Range]

Create orbs that vaporize incoming projectiles. Orbs also appear on nearby allies.

  • Cost 50 Energy
  • Orbs 15 [Ability Strength]
  • Range 20m [Ability Range]

Regenerates allied shields and strengthens them by increasing their damage reduction. The reduction disappears when the shields are completely lost.

  • Cost 50 Energy
  • Damage Reduction 30% (Max 95%) [Ability Strength]
  • Range 30m [Ability Range]

Create a Bright Bleeding for each nearby enemy.

  • Cost 50 Energy
  • Max Enemies 7 [Ability Strength]
  • Range 20m [Ability Range]

 

4) Purify

On the ground he carries a large circle that invokes a strong concentrated flash that heals allies and pulverizes enemies, those who survive are blinded for longer.

  • Cost 100
  • Damage 1250 (Heat, Light)  [Ability Strength]
  • Status Chance 40% [Ability Strength]
  • Duration of Blindness 12s [Ability Strength]
  • Range 25m [Ability Range]
  • Heal 50% (max 100%) [Ability Strength]
