Passive: Redundant Design
While at 40% health or lower, gain 5% damage reduction. Damage reduction increases at lower health, up to a maximum of 20% damage reduction when at 5% health.

Special 1: Void Capacitor
Converts up to 50/100/200 shields into health, with 200% efficiency. If you would regenerate more health than you have, release a pulse with 2/4/8m radius that knocks back enemies (impact proc) and grants 25/50/100 bonus shields to allies.

Special 2: Overdrive
Supercharge the warframe, gaining 30%40%/50% damage reduction and a 20%/30%/40% bonus to attack speed. However, this ability drains health per second instead of energy (and disables passive regeneration while active).

Special 3: Reassemble
Absorbs nearby corpses, turning them into spare parts. Gains 5/?/?% extra shields and armour for every corpse absorbed, up to a maximum of 30/40/50%, for a medium duration. This also refills 5% shields for every corpse absorbed.

Special 4: Feedback Loop
Release an explosive burst of energy. Consumes 20/25/30% of the frame's current health and inflicts it as radiation damage to all enemies within 10/15/20m. Consumes a similar amount of shields, and inflicts it as EMP damage. This ability is relatively cheap.

Only have one ability idea but here goes: 4. [Broken Frame] Puts away his weapons and draws out his "Exalted Weapon" Being 4 Void tendrils sprouting from his back, it would have unique fighting stance and maybe you could switch between a fighting and a transport mode, So he could use all four tendrils and climb and run at a faster rate?

remebers me to the ghoul claws from the anime tokyo ghoul, but I would love it an gave him in mine an almost similar abillity^^ The more people show up with such an abillity, the better are the chances, so thx :3

Wanted to come up with ideas that felt grounded in the visual design of the character while also still carrying the charming and funny idea of a frame designed around game bugs (like clipping, freezing, falling through the floor, etc...).

PassiveInstability: the broken frame gains stacks of instability from casting abilities. stacks of instability increase power strength at a slight cost to efficiency, but if they build up too much drastically decrease power strength at a slight boost to efficiency instead. Stacks decay slowly over time, and are consumed by Rooted Overflow.

1st Ability- Drone Unit: using the powers of the blue frame that it is made of, the broken frame creates a crawling "bug" drone that finds a nearby enemy and latches on to them for a short time, dealing damage and stealing either a health or energy orb from them.

2nd Ability- Static Blast: using the powers of the white frame that it is made of, the broken frame shoots a continuous beam of static void energy which deals heavy damage and has a chance to "freeze" enemies in place with a black white void energy like static effect. Damage ticks deal a lot more damage at a slower tick rate with high power strength, but deal very little damage at a fast tick rate at very low power strength (kind of like speeva/slowva)

3rd Ability- Scrap Armor: Using the powers of the red frame that it is made of, the broken frame pulls in scraps of metal and rock from the environment, "clipping" them into itself as armor that absorbs a percentage of damage taken for a duration. when the ability is cast, projectiles will move from the edge of the area inwards, dealing damage to enemies on their path towards the broken frame in the center. any projectiles that kill an enemy disappear, but projectiles that don't kill will attach themselves to the broken frame, increasing the amount of armor the broken frame gains from the ability.

4th Ability- Rooted Overflow: the broken frame sends its white root-like tendrils into the ground, ensnaring enemies in an area around them and pulling them against the ground, dealing void damage over time. After a short duration, enemies ensnared will either resist, left to be knocked down for a short while, or be under a health threshold and be pulled under the ground to die instantly. Health threshold for execution effect is determined by stacks of Instability, and stacks are consumed upon casting Rooted Overflow.

This broken frame is held together with void energy, so why not give it similar abilities to the tenno? Not exact, but alike... I'm not sure about his other abilities, bgut his 3rd or 4th could be like overwhelming enemies with the power of the void, causing DoT and making enemies more vulnerable to enemies.

His passive could be like he can cloak and teleport like a tenno, but takes up the energy wheel your tenno uses or something.

He could have a bomb layer that causes void damage and it's something like Echo from overwatch.

I dunno what I'm talkin about anymore, but I'll stop now :3

Passive: Switches between any warframe's passives (excalibur passive is not in cycle)

Skill 1: Uses the skill of any warframe but you cant use it again until the rotation cycle goes back to that skill

Skill 2: Detatches one of its limbs to make a clone of any warframe limb regrows and the cycle moves on to the next warframe (clone amount goes up with certain mods)

Skill 3: Puts a status effect from one of the elemental warframes onto weapons for 10 sec (time increases with level and mods) the warframes include: Ember(fire) Mag (magnetic) Nidus(toxic/gas) Volt(electricity)

Skill 4: Combine 4 skills that belong in the same slot depending on the next 3 warframes in the cycle

Additional Info: Cycle is in alphabetical order, for the warframes that produce weapons as their 4th skill this warframe will unleash the weaponn and will still do the other 4th skills, the cycle can be seen right above your ammo count as the one you are using at that moment will be circled in the color of your aura you will also be able to see the next two warframes in the cycle, and the cycle resets after the mission is completed.

Here is an idea:

The frame is on a Health and Shield drain system trying to hold its self together with the void energy. It will reach death(fall apart) when both are at zero and has no energy left. It does not regain health or shields under normal circumstances as it will need to drain enemy health/shields/energy to keep its self alive/together. (3health/shields per 1.5 seconds) (3000/1000 base cap)

Passive- Erode: It will take all unused ammo/ enemy bodies laying around as way to stay alive, as more is being transformed as a life force for its self the intake will decrease.                                    1-mag= 5 health and shields, 5-mag= 3 health and shields, 10-mag= 1 health and shields     (up to 20 meters)    (vacuum will not work for this, must be pick up                                               manually)

Only got 3 Ideas for in use abilities

Emission- Sends a part of its body out (Like shoulder or thigh) to nearby enemies latching on to them and starts to drain them of their heath/shields. ( Frame loses35 amour in the process, 15% health three seconds then the drain will have a decrease over time 1% over thirty seconds, and the owner will get 3% at 15, 2% at 10, 1% at 1-5) Allies with get a same effect with in 20 meter radius. With death the part will come back tot the 'frame'.

Well of Urd- 'Frame' will take a power stance(not moving) and a hand a void vine coming from its hand that will either latch on to a enemy or puncture them, draining for life sources. Then it branch out to new targets and latch/puncture them as well and it goes on and on branching enemies together in a cone like area effect.( drain power will depend on moding but the first target will get 100% damage of 200-250 per second and the next set of targets will get 85% of the damage per sec by 15% intervals. The power will force end is when the first target dies mid power use.) (longer use the faster energy drain when using it)

Fission Fusion- It will get rid of all the parts and create (2-3) specters of what the frames original( filling in the missing parts of the originals or have the parts move by them selves) were and have a operator void like being running around sense it has no longer need to defend its self. Three frames doing different things:

A agile robust one (white) Protecting the source using current Melee

A slow tank(y) block/tech one(brown) Attacking enemies using current Primary

A shady slender one (gray/black) Sneaking behead enemies and using current Secondary

- Flare, Wisp's legacy

Leave behind a mote blinding enemies who get near it, but be wary; they eventually get somewhat used to the blinding light. They may still miss a shot or two afterwards, no one stares into the sun unscathed.

- Glass wall, Gara's legacy

Block a corridor or strengthen a defense with a wall of glass, giving you extra time to reposition yourself before they destroy it.

- Directional vortex, Vauban's legacy

Drop a directional vortex where you stand, sucking in mobs from where you aimed. Drag mobs out from cover or up against the glass wall for easy picking.

- Shapeshift, legacy of the void

The void remembers. Take on the form of an enemy lost in the void and only those who see you attack someone, perceive you as a threat.

Osiris:

Torn asunder by a jealous and knowledge hungry Orokin researcher who was researching the Void, Osiris pulled itself back together using transference to call discarded pieces of other Warframes together into a Void-Bound body.

Passive: Forsaken Body

Osiris is able to use his innate void connection to replenish himself. All energy, health, affinity, and ammo pickups are doubled.

Ability 1: Reclaim

Osiris plants himself and calls into the System to return to him his lost body. He gains health based on how much damage was dealt to him in the last 10 seconds.

Ability 2: Lost Memories

Osiris pulls enemies towards himself, desperate to see what they know about his past. All enemies in a radius are dragged for a short distance, before being compelled to attack Osiris, focusing on him over everything else. Osiris is able to move with a medium movement speed reduction, and slowly gains health over time.

Ability 3: Reject the World

Osiris lashes out in pain, increasing his damage in exchange for an amount of health. While this ability is active, he cannot gain health through any means, and his shields deteriorate over time. He gains a medium amount of Armor during this time.

Ability 4: Judgement

Osiris grows in size and begins to glow, temporarily blinding nearby enemies. His damage increases and he gains resistance to the type of damage he is receiving most. Each “X” enemies killed increases his size, health, and resistance percentage.

ability 1: liquid shield: a liquid metal shield flows over the frame reducing elemental damage and significantly reducing bullet damage, at the cost to all shields until ability's end, re activate ability to dispel the shield doing pierce damage to all nearby enemies relative to how much longer liquid shield has left on its duration

ability 2: metallic assimilation, send out a metallic substance to control the mind of an enemy for X no. seconds, increasing enemy damage and defences for a short time. when the timer runs out increase shield regen speed for shields for a short time and increase armour rating relative to damage done by assimilated enemy's.

ability 3: forceful collection. rip metal from surrounding enemies causing bleed for X no of seconds and reducing armour rating of all enemies caught by attack by 30% for 30 seconds. the total damage done is converted into shield and health regen speed and an adds 300 overshield when at max health

Ability 4: Whips of Mercury: grow in size and sport 2 whips that deal pierce, blunt, impact  damage depending on the enemy's weakness reducing armour by 50% and increase status chance by 50% to all weakened enemies. any enemies killed increase shield and health regen speed (up to 100%), healing yourself adding an over health and over shield of 300 for the duration of the ability (gradually consumes more energy the longer the duration)

passive: solid state. any healing ability's applied to the frame will also regen shield, and health can overheal up to 200.

Going on the concept of a frame that survived by re-assembling itself... almost like a junkyard frame..., it seems to lend itself to a healing, repairing role. This is not so much the idea of the whole "bug turned feature" concept I remember winning... but we'll have to go with this I guess.

Passive: Restoration Protocol
Links to all allies (including pets/sentinels/moas/defense targets) within affinity range. All health orbs, energy orbs, and ammo he picks up are also applied to linked allies at the rate he would gain from that pickup (including the effect of mods like Equilibrium, and arcanes).

Secondary Passive (when you enter operator mode, this frame falls apart like a suit of armor with no occupant, causing non-boss enemies to believe he died, and if they were targeting him, now ignore him as if he were dead and become un-alert. - playing dead - might only work once on each enemy that gets fooled by this... or have a cooldown or something for each one.)

Ability 1: Rebuild
Using the same method he used to reassemble himself, he strips enemy armor/health in range and adds a percentage to his own (rebuilding his armor from scavenged supplies - can make full use of his void energy tendrils for this).

Ability 2: Commandeer (or System Override, or Assimilate)
His tendrils infiltrate nearby "things" (AoE), either hacking consoles to turn off alarms, or turn ceiling turrets, gun emplacements, Moa-dispensers, and such, against the enemies. (Can work on spy vaults and bursas, like auto breach). If used on an alarm console while no alarms are going off, it prevents the next use of that console to set off the alarms, and instead, stuns the would-be-alarm-raiser with strong electric damage - or it could explode like Mirage's ability.

Ability 3:
Accessing the powers its composite frames once possessed, he can choose between:

  • Cosmic Collision (the white frame parts - based on a frame that could manipulate portals to draw in speeding comets and other space debris to collide with targets on the battlefield.)
  • Fortification (the red frame parts - based on a frame that could erect rock domes from liquid magma eruptions)
  • Shadowstep (the blue frame parts - based on a frame that could enter shadows as if they were portals to another realm, and exit other nearby shadows.)

Ability 4: Void Surge
Not contained by a proper Warframe, the void energy holding him together explodes from his core, striking all enemies around him. (... starts out curled up in a defensive ball, with energy bursting from his back, shoulders, then lifts his head, and it shoots out of his face holes, and then he bursts into the air, hovering above the ground... he strikes the transcendence operator pose, floating in mid-air like our operators did before we could control them, and void energy surges out releasing our lost operator chest beam, as well as sending his limbs (still connected by void tendrils) flailing around him)

(Void Surge should have a damage bonus against Sentients above normal void damage.)

  Reveal hidden contents

I considered abilities like Coptering as a "bug turned feature" sort of concept... but couldn't create a fun list of 4 abilities like that.

I feel like this guy has the right idea of how to come at the abilities of this frame.

I am not friends with him, we're not affiliated, but I really enjoy his idea of it.

Passive: Memories of days gone: gain a passive from a random warframe. (Excluding those with passives bound to abilities, like chroma).

1st: Assimilation: target either a friendly warframe or an enemy. If warframe: gain their first ability. If enemy: eviscerate one enemy snd gain their health. (Think tendrils snatching an enemy body part and squishing it into the warframe). Doesnt stack over multiple uses, but does gain bonus health.

2nd: Discorporate: Drop all parts. Halve armour, gain a damage buff. +100% void damage. (Void damage is in addition to normal damage, not replacing it)

3rd: Anguish: The Warframe screams in pain, terrifying anything in its vicinity, causing enemies to flee and gain a debuff.

4th: Split Self: split into two warframes with half (modded) health each. Upon death of either frame, reassamble to full health, ignoring accumulated damage. (Second frame is AI controlled)

Passive: Draws power from the void to gain energy stacks and strengthen its bonds. Void Energy is gained at a 0.7/sec rate (Caps at 50). Each stack grants a 0.5% Armor buff.

1 (Propelled Fist): Launches its fist forward up to 8m dealing moderate Blast damage on impact with any surface. Holding the ability button will drain Void stacks but allows the Propelled fist to be controlled in flight (Similar to Ivara's Navigator). Scales with Strength and Range.

2 (Tangle): Slamming its fist to the ground, it sends a 12m radius surge of Void energy dealing a small amount of damage. Any enemy hit by the blast becomes entangled by void tendrils for 10 seconds preventing them from moving or attacking. Holding the ability button on cast will drain Void stacks but cause tangled enemies to take damage. Scales with Strength, Duration, and range.

3 (Ditto): Casts a random 3rd ability from any frame in the party. This would exclude Grendel's Regurgitate, Khora's Venari, and WuKong's Defy. The ability would have a cooldown to prevent spamming of abilities that typically would have a cost aside from energy (I.E. Gauss's Battery or Ember's Fire Meter). If no other players are in the party it would gain one of the buffs from the 4th ability. The cooldown duration is 8 seconds, abilities with a duration longer than 8 seconds are unable to be recast (I.E. Chroma's Vex armor buff would last the whole 25 seconds to prevent stacking). Abilities cast scale from this frame's Strength/Range/Efficiency/Duration.

4 (Regenesis): Calling the ancient souls of the long dead Warframes, this ability uses 30 Void energy on initial cast (with regular energy drain) the frame splits into three; each different color part becomes its own (The blue, red, and white part form separate bodies using void tendrils). Before the cast, pressing the ability button will toggle between the 3 parts, the selected one will be under your control. Each segment takes a weapon for themselves and cannot swap them. If the 3rd is cast while solo the buff gained cannot be the same as the one currently applied (I.E. As Red you cannot gain another 20% damage boost, but you could gain Damage Reduction or Regen).

White: Melee Tank, gains a 25% damage reduction and a 50% armor buff.

Red: Primary DPS, 20% damage buff.

Blue: Secondary Healer, gives a +5% health regen. effect in within a 10m radius.

I've taken time to look over every frame's abilities and passives to get some ideas and to make sure each one would work. I feel like this kit is good for Crowd Control, with a bit of DPS and Support on the side. A randomized aspect can allow for a team to plan ahead and make use of duplicate abilities. My reason for the 3 being so wild is because the original idea was "It's not a bug its a feature" Frame and I though having him use other frame's abilities would definitely seem like a bug while still being effective. As for the 4, the idea that you can summon fourth the spirit of the frames long past to assist you in the fight just seemed to fit the function of this broken frame. It took quite some time to get all these ideas down so if you have any Questions/Feedback i'd love to hear it ❤️

Passive - Divergent Form:

At the start of every mission Warframe receives a buff to its base health, armor, or shields at random, these stats would be affected by mods.

~100 Base Health / ~300 Base Shields / ~75 Base Armor / ~25 Base Energy

*Following the theme of this design, this passive would make sense because the Warframe is made up of different parts of other Warframes. It is broken so it randomly powers up different parts of itself to increase its stats. The numbers above would be my rough balancing point for this.

Ability 1 - Fractured Beam:

This Warframe tries to unleash a beam attack, but its own instability causes the beam to fracture sending out 5 Void Damage bolts in a cone in front of it.

~45° Base Cone Angle

~10m Base Range

*This ability could be a first for a Warframe that doesn't have its Void Energy contained. It can do Void Damage, which would be very intersting and different. I don't have any numbers for this because I don't really know a good balacing point for the Void Damage type.

Ability 2 - Fragile Armor:

This Warframe will create weak armor that lasts for a short duration. Damage from enemies will build up over this duration. Once it reaches a certain threshold it will break. After the armor breaks it explodes dealing Void Damage in an area around the Warframe. This explosion will also empower allied Warframes, increasing their Ability Strength for a short duration. This Warframe would not obatin this buff. The more damage taken the better the damage and the buff. Can be recasted but resets the amount of damage taken.

~15 sec, Base Duration for Armor

~15m Base Range

~30% Base Damage Reduction, capped at 50%

~If Armor accumulates ~ 10000 damage it will output maximum Void Damage and Ability Strength Buff.

Maximum Ability Strength Buff ~50%

~8 sec, Buff Duration

*This would be a really cool ability that would give this Warframe an option between survivability or damage and buffing allies. The damage accumulation would be hindered by the Damage Reduction of this ability and by mods. I believe that would balance it out considering it would take a lot of duration and a lot of damage to actually achieve the maximum buff.

Ability 3 - Void Impasse:

The Warframe lets its Void Energy out in an cone in front of it stunning enemies within line of sight. If any enemy is hit with Fractured Beam while stunned it will cause Fractured Beam to arc to every enemy within line of sight dealing the same damage removing the stun. After the stun is removed, enemies are weakened.

~45° Base Cone Angle, capped at 60°

~20m Base Range

~15 sec Base Stun Duration

~10 sec Base Weaken Duration

~25% Increased Damage Taken

*This ability would provide another choice, take the CC or take the Damage. The stun would be like a Blind, or Freeze and the Weaken would be like Nezha's Blazing Chakram damage increase. I think this could look really cool visually and be a good source of synergy and damage.

Ability 4 - Defective Design:

This Warframe uses 100 Energy to buff all other abilities for a short duration. This can be recast up to 2 more times each recast costing 100 Energy. The Energy cost is not affected by Ability Efficiency. Once the ability has been recasted to the maximum amount it can no longer be recasted.  After the duration of the ability ends 20% of the Energy used will be refunded.

~10 sec Base Ability Duration

100 Energy Effects:

All abilities will cost no energy to use for the duration of the buff.

200 Energy Effects:

All abilities will receive 50% more Ability Range for the duration of the buff.

300 Energy Effects:

Fractured Beam - Increases the number of fractured bolts to 10

Fragile Armor - Increases Damage Reduction to 90%. Lowers the damage accumulation cap by 2500.

Void Impasse - Makes the cone angle 360°. Replenishes 3 Energy per enemy hit to allies in the AoE.

*There are few Warframe in the game that can use more Energy than considered normal. This is an idea that adds to this choice you have to make. Do you want to go all the way?, or Do you just want the lesser buffs? The energy refund is small so that this won't become a spammable offense, and this paired with the short duration makes it more balanced as well.

*This Warframe design doesn't have a very specific theme like Volt which is Electricity, so I chose to take a very simple design using very basic attacks such as, beams, cones/AoE's, and armor. Instead of them working properly they are a bit broken. I wanted to make this a versatile Warframe so that it fits into multiple players playstyle. It is made up of various parts so it makes sense that it can do a number of tasks. It has the options for a tank build, a damage build, or even a more support build by supplying energy and ability strength to allies.

A bargain with the void was struck. The price for vengeance was to be enslaved to it’s will eternally. Reconstructed from pieces of a slain squad, The Broken One seeks vengeance for themselves collectively. Their goal, to hunt sentients.

Voidheart - Passive

When slain, instead of dying, one of your abilities will be locked out, and you will leave part of your Warframe on the ground. This part can be reclaimed, which will unlock the ability. Dying again while in this state will result in actual death.

Reacquiring the part requires a channel akin to resurrecting an ally, but with a shorter duration.

The Broken One’s skills gain stacks, which grant scaling benefits to each skill, and an added effect when reaching a certain threshold.

Dropping a part means you will lose stacks associated with that ability the longer the part remains unclaimed.

The Assassin - 1

Activation - Teleport to an enemy in range applying a debuff that causes them to take increased damage, The Broken One will attempt a finisher on the target if possible. Enemies slain while under this debuff grant a stack to The Assassin.

Sentients under the effect of the debuff are unable to stack resistances.

(There would probably be some kind of horrible void creature scream upon arriving at the victim’s location)

The Warden - 2

Activation - The Broken One slams into the ground summoning an Obelisk. Allies within range are granted additional maximum health and shields, and damage reduction while in range.

Enemies within range have their movement slowed moderately. Sentients within range become rooted occasionally.

Enemies slain within range of the Obelisk grant stacks to The Warden.

The Healer - 3

Activation - Grants a buff, while under this effect enemies slain restore health and shields to The Broken One, and nearby allies. Stacks are granted to The Healer proportional to healing done.

Slaying Sentients while affected by this buff reduces the cooldown of Vengeful Commander.

Vengeful Commander - 4

Activation - Doubles the effectiveness of The Assassin, The Warden, and The Healer for a moderate duration.

When The Assassin reaches 10 stacks, Vengeful Commander passively grants allies within affinity range increased damage, and The Assassin also applies it’s debuff to all enemies within range of the initial target.

When The Warden reaches 10 stacks, it greatly increases the range of the Obelisk’s influence any time it is active. Range is increased for each additional stack up to a cap.

When The Healer reaches 10 stacks, Vengeful Commander causes healing and shields granted by The Healer to be shared within Affinity Range passively. Stacks increase the amount of health and shields restored.

I will write this in spanish because it's my native language.

Please let me know if i need to translate this to participate (i didnt see anything that says that i cant write in another language)

Take care!

Really don't have any good abilities for the Frame Its dope thou.._.._.. But ido have an idea of passive and story . Passive name : Vor's Pride the way I see it is that one time or another Vor had to try before his journey. What the passive does is simple the same thing that Vor does .Based on Power when you die the void energy allows you to reserved energy to resurrect or void electrical beams you can only choose 2x each mission

Ability 1: Glitch. Phase out of reality and teleport so many meters in whatever direction currently traveling. Take a small amount of damage

Ability 2: Virus. Attack a singular enemy a short distance away with an electrical pulse. This effect will spread to any other enemy within a few meters of each other like a spider web.

Ability 3: Recreation.  Warframe attempts to rebuild itself by activating a health link with surrounding enemies and slowly gains back health. It is an aura effect that connects with enemies as they come near and that slowly drains the warframe’s energy pool. Using any other ability deactivates it

Ability 4: Overload. Explode for a wide circular radius of high damage for a percentage of health and shielding. Hold down the ability key to build up a power bar. This correlates the amount of damage and distance with the amount of health or shielding lost.

Passive: The more health siphoned, the more knowledge is learned about an enemy faction. This gives a sliding scale of  damage against that faction type on a per mission basis.

This is vague more of a vague idea for the abilities but here I go nonetheless.

The broke frame can grab the corpses of fallen enemies and assimilate them into itself to make itself stronger. From direct armor, health and/or shield buffs, to even potentially forming weapons scrapped together from enemy weapons. This on top of using the tendrils that hold it's body together as a method of attacking/restraining enemies, as some other users have already suggested, would be interesting. As for a passive that would work with this, my idea is that this could be health gating based on the warframe parts that it is cobbled together out of, whenever the broken frame takes a quarter of it's health in damage it loses some off it's parts in turn for a few seconds of invincibility and a burst of speed to get away, however each time this occurs the broken frames max armor health and shields decreases by that quarter of it's original max health (unless a certain ability is used to absorb the dead corpses of enemies to repair itself).

Hello there!🙃

So an idea for his 4. Becoming one with your weapon. So if he's from all kind of warframe parts means that he can adapt, so can assume he could incorporate his equiped weapons into himself. I imagine like this..press 4..from melee, pistol and primary u roll it like gambling by luck u get lets say primary boom ur whole palm opens up and those void tendrills are all flaying up and down ur primary gets fused with ur arm with all tendrills locking up back to ur arm and weapon. Just imagine a chakur as his hand 😂
