Passive: Reconstruct 

enemies killed by (ph broken warframe) hae a 75% chance to drop a part. When picked up, each part returns 50 health and a limb. Parts are stored up in a bank.

Ability 1: Constrict

Target an enemy and throw a part of (Ph) onto them. (Ph) can mark up to 4 enemies with this ability and when holding the ability enemies detonate dealing 300 slash damage in a 7 meter radius. 

Augment: Construction

shooting affected enemies within a short period of this ability being casted will increase damage dealt depending on the damage types and damage amount put into the marked target.

Ability 2: Sheath 

(Ph) surrounds themselves with scavenged parts, protecting them from fire. Taking a certain amount of damage will consume one part. The amount of parts used for the ability depends on the amount picked up and the cap is increased with ability strength.

augment: Infused Orbit

Parts surrounding (Ph) now reflect damage and have a chance of applying radiation status. 

Ability 3: Deconstruct

(ph) sacrifices some of their parts for buffs for them and their allies, one for increased elemental damage, one for increased reload, one for increased armor and lastly one for increased shields. 

Augment: Disassemble 

(ph) now uses all picked up parts for the full effect of one buff. Duration and buff value is increased by 10%. 

Ability 4: Calamity 

(ph) leaves behind a statue of themselves, drawing enemy fire and absorbing it. For the next (x) seconds (ph) and their allies become immune to enemy fire and damage dealt to enemies doesn't take effect until the duration ends. (ph) cannot attack enemies during this phase. once the phase ends (by either recasting or by the ability ending) any attacks dealt to the statue is reflected and reduces enemy armor by a percentage. damage is increased depending on amount of enemies shot (thinking 1% for each) and is granted to all allies. Ability has a 15 second cooldown in between uses and requires 8 parts to use (thinking duration should be 5 seconds).

Augment: Subtle Calamity 

enemies are frozen and damage is fully taken. (Ph) still can't attack during this time and recieves no armor reduction/damage buff. shield regeneration is decreased by 50% during the phase.

(These were all ideas i had and have not read all the submissions yet, i bet there are a ton of similar or possibly identical ideas if so maybe mine can add and or help with anothers i just wanted to add my input and i do not intend to copy if i did i ensure you its 100% accidental, Still please read all and i hope you simply enjoy the ideas/input, Thank you :D)

Ok, I have a few ideas but since the passive is the most complicated ill start with that. Perhaps all tendrils could do void damage?

 

Passive - Graverobber/Deaddrop/patchwork/Frankenstein: After killing an enemy you collect a part of their body/gear/equipment and add it onto your body via the energy tendrils. maybe you need ten stacks to gain the max effect snd parts drop off over time or when taking a certain amount of damage. The effect changes per enemy type. For example the Grineer give armor, Corpus give sheilds, Infested give you health and the sentients give you a damage buff. Maybe each is 1% maxing at 10% and scaling with efficiency or power coming to a total of 20/30%.

Ability 1- Energy lash: The warframe would lash their arm extended by a tendril of energy out in an arc when not aiming down sights or maybe when enemies are close or perhaps on a single press. Alternatively you could aim/hold to send it flying out in a straight line. This would deal damage and shocks any enemies hit by the tendril or impact if hit by the actual arm (both if the tendril and arm hits). If an enemy dies to this ability the arm collects the part on its return. This ability could be boosted with ability range and power.

Ability 2- Reconstruction: The warframe breaks appart with tendrils connecting all its parts, The parts will deal impact as they fly away. This is a large circle Aoe of tendrils that grab enemies. Holding this ability will allow you to remain still while lashing out more tendrils, if not held or if just pressed tendrils return to the warframe pulling in enemies and parts. If you use the first ability after youve pulled enemies in youll do a two arm AOE spin with both arms extended outward.

Ability 3 - partgiver: You use your tendrils to attach your parts to an ally giving your buff to them for a time or until reactivation. Maybe only you and one ally could have parts at a time? Or only you or an ally? This would dissapear after a time or return to you upon reactivation. Also maybe you could put your parts on an enemy to blow them up dealing a bit of damage per part?

Ability 4- Chimera/We are one: (My favourite ability and another complicated one) For a limited amount of time or aneenergy drain. You turn into a huge new form. (Quadroped maybe since a lot of the community wants that too). I would say it remains the same no matter what parts you have but it could change depending? This could do one of two things but what remains the same is health/armor or Health/sheild buff. This can only be activated at 10 stacks. It could also while your in it increase your stack limit. It also forcibly removes all parts when its deactivated.

 

A, the simple one) Changes fire to a new attack a beam, shockwave, breath, explosive energy ball, cone of tendrils or flamethrower like attack? Changes melee to a new attack. Swipe, stomp, bite?

B, lets go all out) does the same as A but with new abilities.

1, Pretty much the same but stronger and with your claw/fist/beast arm? Deoending on wjat the form is.

2, high damage Aoe tendril stomp.

3, A charge or pounce/jump. Or maybe have a player be able to ride/man a turret on the form? Giving them protections.

4, Deactivation. Obviously.

Assembled from the remnants of Warframes destroyed during the Old War and held together by Void energy. 

How to submit:

In this thread, share a description of 1-4 Warframe Abilities and a Passive. Base your ideas on the Broken Warframe theme and Eornheit’s concept art!

You may include values with your Ability ideas, but please keep in mind that these values might be changed by the Dev Team later in the design phase.

  • One submission per player. Be sure to include all of your Ability ideas in one post!
  • 1-4 Ability ideas and 1 Passive idea per player.
  • Ability ideas can’t be changed after they are submitted. You may edit your post to make small changes like fixing typos. "Reason for edit" will be reviewed.

Selecting the Final Abilities:

Call for submissions will close on Thursday, April 30 at 1:00pm ET.

The Warframe Team will review all submissions to select the community-created Warframe’s Abilities! We may mix and match submissions from multiple players. Please keep in mind that we might make small changes to Abilities to ensure the community-created Warframe is consistent with Warframe’s overall design.

Passive: Contact with Sentients release a burst of void energy that sheds sentient adaptations and blinds them. Deals 10% more damage against sentients. 

1st ability: Flawed Blade - summon an exalted blade for a short duration, which deals true and void damage. (Based off exalted blade)

2nd ability: Cracked Stasis - Stops enemies in their tracks for 10s. (Based off limbo)

3rd ability: Gunslinger - Use a deadly pistol that deals void energy. (Based off Mesa)

4th ability: Reaper - Become invulnerable, and go to the void, where you regain health and energy, once 10s are up you return to your location, and cast a wave of force against all enemies in a small radius, leeching even more health for you and your teammates. (Based off rhino, limbo, revenant and Garuda)

 

Well, you said this frame was made from Warframe parts. Maybe there can be a new quest, from which he's unlocked? Maybe call him Eornhart?Also please add back Excalibur Prime, maybe as a prime access?

Passive: Degeneration

The Broken has no shields, only health, and therefore is able to naturally regenerate health by itself.

Anytime one of the Broken’s abilities is cast a reality distorting effect permeates throughout the battle field. The effect triggered is dependent on the amount of health the Broken has.

-If the Broken has between 67-100 percent of their health remaining, the Broken becomes invisible to all detection, gains increased crit chance, and affinity gained is increased for it and all players within affinity range.

-If the Broken has between 34-66 percent of their health remaining, The Broken’s very presence warps perception of it, any enemies targeting the Broken will begin to fire in the opposite direction away from the Broken.

-If the broken has less than or equal 33 percent of their health remaining The broken becomes immune to death. If killed while this buff is active, the broken is revived and is temporarily immune to both taking and dealing damage, although enemies still target the Broken. All damage it would have taken during this period is instead distributed evenly across all enemies plagued by a Phantom Self. 

If there is no Phantom Self active, the damage absorbed is instead transformed into health.


The Broken can only have one passive effect happen at one time and a new passive is only triggered when the first passive’s duration ends.

As the Broken’s passive varies depending on the Broken’s health, there is a visual indicator both at the health bar and the Broken Warframe itself, which visually changes to become more and more damaged as it loses health, the void tendrils in it’s body growing more and more over the body chaotically as it struggles to compensate for the taken damage and hold itself together.

 

Phantom Duality:

 An AOE ability where all enemies in range are are attacked by a distorted version of themselves, becoming occupied as their Phantom Self forces them into a 1 on 1 combat.

The afflicted enemy is only able to attack and deal damage to their Phantom Self for the duration of the ability.

The Phantom Self disappears once the afflicted enemy has been killed or the ability’s duration ends, however they do persist after the Broken’s death.

The Phantom Self deals minor damage and exists more as crowd control rather than a reliable means of DPS.

If the afflicted enemy is killed by a healing effect due to Paradox Equilibrium, the phantom copy persists and targets another random enemy nearby.

 

Corruption Overload: 

The Broken takes all status procs from allies nearby and inflicts them on itself. The more status procs the Broken has while the ability is active, the more it gains a percentage increase in damage, speed, and armor.

Duplicate status procs stack and contribute to the stat increase percentage for the Broken.

 

Paradox Equilibrium: 

Players heal when the Broken shoots/attacks them. Enemies take damage from healing effects.

The damage enemies receive and healing allies receive are capped at a certain percentage, but the lower the Broken’s health, the higher the damage/healing cap becomes.

 

Natural Imitation:

The Broken links itself to an ally, whenever the ally casts an ability, the Broken casts a phantom copy of that ability, spending energy equal to the ability’s normal cost.

This ability costs energy to cast and has a constant energy drain while the link is active.

If the linked ally dies, the Broken suffers from a complete energy drain and is unable to cast Natural Imitation again until the Broken dies and is revived.

The stats of the ability scale off the Broken’s mods.

If there are no targets in range for the ability to be cast, the Broken does not cast the ability at all.

If there are no allies in range, the Broken instead creates a Warframe Specter version of a Warframe the Tenno has in their arsenal. The Broken randomly casts one of the Specters abilities, with the Specter disappearing after the ability has been cast.

If the Broken imitates another Broken Warframe, instead of casting an ability, both Warframes instead emit a massive shockwave of energy that knocks down enemies and deals a large amount of damage to all enemies in range.

Passive: Every 60 seconds the "Broken Frame" will send a pulse out that randomly buffs one of but not all of the abilities of all warframes within affinity range by 10% in all all stats for 5 seconds (Example is either A: it would send a pulse that gives 10% to Strength, range, efficiency, and duration to all warframe's 1st abilities. Or B: It would send out a pulse that buffs a random ability on each frame it hits.)

 

First ability: Void Spark: "Broken Frame" sends out a crackle of void energy that deals a moderate amount of damage to the enemy it was aimed at and then deals half that damage and stuns near by (3) enemies as it arks to them.

 

Second Ability: The Forgotten: The "Broken Frame" Can choose an aspect of what frames it was made out of to effect itself and allies by sending out 3 orbs to seek them. It can choose to A: It can give a Small damage reduction (like 10-20%) B: It gives a small Boost to Weapon Damage C : It can give a small burst of high health regen for 3 seconds and status immunity for 4 seconds

 

Third ability: Absorption Leech: "Broken Frame" Creates a small pool of void energy that grabs up to 5 enemies for 10 seconds and slowly devours them. The "Broken Frame" Gains Health regeneration from them while the enemies are grabbed. If an enemy dies in the pool he gets a non stacking buff based on the enemy faction killed, Armor for Grineer, Shields for corpus, Health damage for infested, and ability Strength for Sentient.

 

Fourth Ability: Remembrance: "Broken Frame" Looks into the parts that makes it and uses one of the 4th abilities of the frames it was made from (i think it looks to be made out of 3 frames so i will use 3 ability ideas here) (Maybe for flavor the parts of said warframe glow with the Broken Frame's Energy Color.)

Fourth A: "Broken Frame" looks into itself for the frame that died fending off hordes of sentients as the last bastion and it gains a substantial boost to Armor Health and Shields for 25 seconds

Fourth B: "Broken Frame" Looks into itself to find the frame that Laid wast to fields of enemies before it was overwhelmed and it Sends out a wave of *Insert them of warframe here (ie: ice/fire/Air)* That deals a substantial amount of damage to all enemies within 15 meters

Fourth C: "Broken Frame" Looks into itself to find the frame that Cared for those who were wounded in the old war that died defending them and draws out an aura of substantial healing within 20 meters of it that stay up for 10 seconds

 

 

 

My idea with this Frame was the Fact that it was Made from fallen frames and held together by Void energy, I imagine this frame being broken in the sense that it has it's own mind as well as the minds and conflicting desires of the frames within it's making. I imagine it's Idle animation looking as if it struggling with all the voices in it's head. Maybe the Noble animation would be it switching between Looking Brave, or Eager to fight, and lastly caring in a way. It's agile would be it Struggling with the thoughts and fighting them off (Grabbing and shaking it's head).

1.) Scream of Pain - A roar of anguish bursts forth, staggering foes in a cone in front of the warframe. Foes directly in front of the frame can be knocked down and others have a chance to be feared temporarily.

2. Void Infusion -  Random increase to one of the following that cannot be recast for a set amount of time:
Power strength/range - Movement/reload speed - Fire rate/status chance - Crit chance/damage

3. Violent Tendrils - Void tendrils latch onto enemies, slowly pulling them close while draining health/shield (depending on if its damaging health or shields) and ends in an aoe knockdown/stagger pulse

4. Void Crash - Become highly erratic and volatile, allowing you to sprint into enemies causing damage. being shot in this from causes void fragments to break off and fire at attackers. Pressing the primary fire key shoots piercing laser shots towards enemies, holding secondary fire will charge your energy into an explosion of void energy that ends your Void Crash

passive: Voidling - void attacks charge your powers with extra strength/energy regen temporarily. (as in operators can give you a temporary boost if your frame is within their dash/amp/blast strike zone)

Broken would not have Shields, ability damage would be intended to scale off of Warframe/enemy level

Passive: Armor value is raised by a percent based on scrap pool

Idea: Scrap pool is a shell that surrounds Broken as Iron Skin surrounds Rhino and acts like a second health pool. Scrap pool is affected by and increases Armor value, making Broken tougher with increased Scrap Pool value

1:Salvage- Broken rips up an opponent, gaining back lost health and gaining Scrap Pool value along with ripping weapons/abilities/equipment away. Stolen weapons would fire from Broken periodically to add to Primary/secondary weapons' fire

2: Scavenger Turret- Broken sacrifices a portion of his Scrap Pool and pilfered weapons to place a powerful turret on the field. Scavenger Turret only leaves the field when destroyed, but can not be cast within nullifier bubbles. Portions dedicated to creating the turret can be increased to a certain point by holding down the ability button

3:Ripclaws- Broken uses his exalted fist-type weapons which only drain energy on successful hits. Each hit returns a portion of the damage as Scrap Pool value

4:Golem- Broken sacrifices all Scrap Pool and pilfered weapons and equipment to create a Scrap Golem. Unlike the turret, the Golem is an instant cast. The Golem's level matches Broken's, and acts as though it's a Rumbler with weapons and abilities. Using Salvage on a Golem (Up to four at any given time) will sacrifice the Golem and return everything left back to the Scrap Pool. Golems are not affected by Nullifier bubbles, but can't use stolen abilities/equipment while inside

Dear DE,

I've got a pretty cool idea, which might be considered OP - but it is not, in fact. Hoping it can be balanced in some way.

 

Variant 1: This warframe could select abilities of other frams in your arsenal, regardless of slot and placement of abilitiy. Ex.: Nekros' Desecrate as a 1st skill ans such.

 

Variant 2: To get a different ability, you'd need to make a symbiont between normal frame and a "Broken" one (by losing you nornal version forever). Then "Broken" frame could select abilities of the sacrificed frame (for Prime version you'd require Prime frames).

 

Example of choosing skills in Arsenal: You could take Motes from Wisp as his 1st ability, then Banshee's Sonar as 2nd, Nekros' Desecrate as 3rd and Hydroid's Tentacle Swarm as an ult. Might be an interesting combo.

 

As you could've noticed, all abilities are placed on their corresponding positions, like on the original frames. But you could make it so you can pick any abilities at any slot, like in Variant 1. 

 

Also you could perform a symbiosis for gaining a passive by sacrificing a different frame, or just choose it from frames that you took skills from.

 

I think it'd be more balanced this way. Played would need to sacrifice normal frames to make a universal one, made from few different ones. Played would obtain a frame with preferrable skills and playstyle.

 

Augments: You could equip any augment for this frame, as long as you have an appropriate ability from a correspinding frame.

 

Summary: Universal frame for player, with ability to shape one by using already existing frames. Should fit to its' theme.

 

You could make a few universal frames or one for different situations. But it's important to do it properly, without forgetting about mods and abilities at work.

 

Might be the coolest frame of all time... Since everyone would be able to make a character that suits to oneself.

Warframe name - Arma

Health 250-600

Armor 200-650

Energy 150-425

Shields 250 -500

 

Comes with two sentinels guerra and paz aka war and peace

1: guerra and paz automatically picks up one downed player or pets at a time within 15-20 meter radius. Paz revives , guerra  protects

2. Is a cycle of all four elements Which he can add to any weapon he use changing the elemental structure for a period of time, also adding 1.5 crit to it.

3. Can allow guerra to fire like his primary weapon and paz to fire like his secondary weapon at full strength when fully lvled. At this point he can only melee. For a period of time.

4. Paz and Guerra Spin shooting cluster bombs in all direction 14-18 total damaged effected by power strength.

 Passive: when they die Guerra releases a wave replenishing energy, Paz releases a wave replenish health both come back after a 1min like jinn

Passive: will to live : whenever he gets a component he heals by a tiny amount

First : arm-rang: throw your arm into a enemy doing a guaranteed impact proc

Second: one man's trash... : can "play dead" being immune to all attacks but also immobile 

Third: reshuffle: reconstruct itself in a medium area attack (like a 1-2 second sandstorm)

fourth: reduce re-use recycle: destroy all enemy weapons in a large radius and gents buffs to himself and allies based on the number

Fame favours the bold.... What a lie... There was none other bolder than me.... And yet I was brought nothing more than infamy.... Why such a thing would happen.... I was a orokin researcher... I used to obey directly from them.... And what did it brought me... Ruin.... I had so much money from working on those warfames I.... Never thought it would be so much profitable.... There was more money there than I could use in a lifetime... So I did the only logical thing...

I donated to people who needed the most.... Only to be fired from the project and my rank and research was all erased.... Only because of a good action....

I don't know what our lords are anymore ....

But I don't care I heard about the sentients not obeying orokins anymore....

If that's really true I would like to defect there and help them with what I could create with spare warframe parts...

Broke? No. Spare? No. Junk? Definitely not. Hmm....

(In this moment the warframe started activating on his own) 

what to call it, what to call it... ! W-what is that I haven't even started the nervous system connections yet it's impossible for you to move especially without a tenno what is this???!!!!!

(The corpse? Started walking towards a schematic desk where his blueprints were and saw his plans where the space for his name was blank he slowly picked a pencil nearby a writed something then got slowly back to the table where he couldn't get because he collapsed before reaching it)

h-h-how it's possible i-i never saw anything like that...what did he write....

REST... alright whatever it was now... You got yourself a name.

Lofn is essentially the Norse God of Gambling. Hence, the frame's name would be something along those lines. Since this whole game is about grind, RNG, and painstaking farming, why not build a frame that symbolizes all this?   
Hear me out, this is some really high grinding but I can imagine the payoff being pretty superb. This would also give end-game players something to do besides the same ol stuff.   
I think each Lofn frame will be named different, where the name will be 'Lofn (insert last name here)' and it could be based on the parts you use to build him.  


I say make the Lofn BP a rare drop from a relic (of course) and to craft him, you have to use 4 different frames that are *already built*. For ex, I can use an Excal, Ember, Rhino, and Volt as crafting material. Doesn't matter which rank, but this does mean that these frames would disappear. From that, all of the stats and abilities would be randomized depending on the default base stats of the frames used for construction. For example, with aforementioned frames, Lofn's stats could be randomized to have Ember's base Health, Excal's base Shield, Volt's base Armor, Rhino's base Energy. Then the abilities would be the same kind of randomization. Lofn's 1 could be Excal's 1, 2 could be Volt's 2, 3 could be Rhino's 3, etc etc. But it is worth noting that Lofn can't only have 4's. In his 1 slot, in can only be a 1 slot ability. His 4 (ult) can only be a 4 (ult), if that makes sense. Of course, this means that his/her passive is locked as that randomization aspect.

This ties into the 'broken' aspect of the frame, and also the sacrifice needed to bring him/her into the world. 


Of course there is a lot of opportunities for extremely weak builds, extremely broken (OP) builds, and a lot of really weird builds. But this would essentially be a Riven-personified frame where we as a player base just grind so damn hard to create something crazy strong. This would sink a bunch of materials, time, and be very pricey. Henceforth being based off of a God of Gambling. I see a lot of possibilities of cool ability synergies and also bad ability synergies. I'm imagining long nights grinding out frames, waiting over 84 hours (to craft parts and the main frame) x 4, then using all of those to craft Lofn (another 72 hours), only to get a decent frame that I ultimately want to refine, leading me to repeat the process all over again.

Broken Warframe - adaptive playstyle can be defensive or offensive based on Its element.

A warframe based on other warframe elements and adding new elemental possibilities. Add 'fragments' of certain warframes that can be equipped in the arsenal and changes the element of Broken Warframes' abilities. 

 

Based off of the idea of being pieced together using multiple frames, uses fragments of Saryn, Ember, Frost, and Volt. Starts with Two Neutral fragments that deal Extra Slash, Puncture, and Impact. Two fragments can be equipped at a time, changing the type of ability damage. (Ex. One Ember fragment and One Frost fragment will give the Blast element. Two Saryn fragments will give a small bonus in strength to the Toxin elemental abilities. ~1.2x - 1.5x ) Could also add Limbo frags for Void damage or invisibility effect. Revenant or Umbra for Tau dmg versus the Sentients. The basic idea is to be as versatile as possible to cover nearly all aspects of the game from the basic enemies new players encounter to The New Wars' sentients. 

Could make it more difficult to receive fragments by requiring the specific warframe be owned first. (Volt must be built before the Volt frag can be obtained)

 

Using base numbers of 100 and 10 in examples for clarification. 

Passive:   Enemies killed have a chance to provide One stack of Spare Parts. Every 10 stacks they are consumed and restores 10 shield/health/energy. Will only provide One random bonus to health, shield, or energy. 

1st: Basic damage ability. Either a small projectile (like throwing a chunk of flesh or a smaller body part) or physical attack (a short range arced slash attack)  (using 2 Ember frags)  Deals 100 Neutral dmg and an additional 10 Heat dmg over 10 seconds. Whichever one fits best.

2nd:  An area of effect ability around the warframe. Changes effects based on the element the player has equipped. Base 100 Neutral dmg with added elemental effect.  Heat, Toxin, Blast, Gas add extra dmg or damage over time. Cold, Electricity, Magnetic stuns/freezes enemies with dmg over time. Corrosive, Radiation, Viral increases dmg enemies receive or weakens them. Basically similar to the original effects of each element. Void element frags add invisibility for 10 seconds. Tau dmg increased versus sentient.

3rd: Splitting off a piece of Broken Warframe and attaching to an enemy for 10 seconds. Does 100 Neutral dmg and element dmg, restores 10 health/shield/energy on death. On death jumps to nearby enemies until the effect ends. Attach a piece to an ally to restore 10 health/shield/energy for both of you for each enemy they kill for 10 seconds.

4th:  Spawn two clones of whichever frags Broken Warframe has equipped for 10 seconds. (Two Ember frags would spawn two Embers, while one Frost and one Volt would spawn one of each.) If Neutral frags are equipped spawns Broken Warframes with a random element. These clones work the same as specters, they can follow or hold position until they die or the ability runs out. Upon death they explode doing their element damage in a small radius around them.

Ability 1 smite shoot out arm tendrls inflicting damage to 1st hit tendrils then split off from that enemy attacking them the more enemies hit the more stacks you get.                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Ability 2 tenticle wall create a wall of tenticles that pick up enemies sqeeuzing out life and energy as they damage them (by wall i mean like a line in front of them) again each enemy adds a stack

Ability 3 mind take over sends out micro scopic parsites that take over the minds of enemie either: Making them gather in a marked location, making them run from you or freezing them in place. They also take more damage and each hit is another stack

Ability 4 succumb tendrils cover the whole of your body and your arms turn into elongated whips that you can lash out it doesnt cost energy to stay in this state but stack which you can also gain whilst succumbed.

Passive all abilities deal viral damage and weapons equipped with viral deal 2 times more viral

Passive - Scrap Repair: Broken Warframe has a (x)% chance to repair a small portion of its health when it encounters a resource.

 

1. Rusty Dart - Broken Warframe breaks off a piece of himself and turns it into a dart, sending it straight outward towards it's target. The target is hit with (x) damage and is inflicted with radiation.

 

2. Channeling - Broken Warframe channels Void energy though his body and sends it through the floor, changing the affected area into a damage booster for him and his allies for (x) time. 

 

3. Loose Ends - Broken Warframe’s Void energy bonds become loose, creating multiple streams of flowing energy that damages enemies in (x) radius.

 

4. Homing Hand - Broken Warframe's left arm becomes loose and rockets outwards powered on Void energy. While the arm is in flight, it targets any nearby enemy in (x) radius and tears them apart piece by piece. After one target is down the arm goes onto the next closest enemy.                  

    (The 4th abilty all occurs while the player is still able to move, but costs a lot in energy drain due to it's effective killing power. Obviously only weapons that can be wielded in the right hand alone can be used during this time.)

broken warframe ability ideas
abilities:
 1 glitch: able to teleport a small distance (can pass through walls as long as it's inside the playable area)
 2 integer overflow: for a limited time guns of nearby enemies restore a small ammount of HP
 3 memory leak: enemies around the map become unalerted and the alarm is disabled
 4 limited buffer: creates a bubble of AOE in which only a small number of enemies can move (the rest freeze like in a limbo)

passive:
 any effect has a small chance to stay twice as long, (would be cool to have the timer go to negative numbers instead of actually making the duration larger)

Hay, here are my ideas for the Community Frame

 

Lore:

Before I start I have to go into the background story of the frame that I have. The white parts in the Art concept were the original parts. This warframe used to be one of the strongest, it could control the void energy, stronger than the operators. As DE said, it has been destroyed and sticks together through void energy. The two parts, red and blue, are from two warframes. The Red one from Sol (lat. For sun), and the blue one from Luna (lat. Hiems for moon). He was known as Cometes (Latin for Comet). They were worshiped as deities in a village on earth because they were like celestial bodies. The two giants and heavenly violence (comets, asteroids, ...). The three were best friends, the day he broke up, his friends sacrificed themselves for him, in vain he was also killed. He did not want to accept this, the victim of the two should not be forgotten. Since his body was badly damaged, he had to take parts from his friends. However, the skills of the two he gets from it don't work quite like the actual Warframes. He has to accept a few complications.

Passive:

He has a void energy indicator, this is primarily filled by his third ability, but he also gets a small amount of void if he kills opponents (as an example a killed enemy = 1% of 100% if the third is active one killed = 3%). The more void energy there is, the faster the warframe (1.0 <1.2), its melee speed increases up to 25% and its reload speed up to 35%

1. Ability, Burning Strength: The Broken Warframe concentrade the energy on the Body Parts of Sol. He uses the power of the Warframe from which he took the body parts: Effect: He will get a 30/40/50% damage booster on all his weapon, but the longer this ability is active, the more health it takes.(15 per seconds Max)  Down to 50 life points, if he reach this point, and the ability is active the ability will turn off automatic, and have a 60 sec cooldown. ( Watch on your health or you die)

2.Ability, Full Moon  : Now he will concentrade energy on the blue body parts: Effect: He will get a Shield. He has to charge this shield, the longer he charges the higher the defense radius (up to 360 degrees) and the strength (up to 30/40/50% damage reduction).To get 360 degrees and 75% he has to charge for 10 seconds. (Can be shortened to 6 seconds with mods). If he gets physical damage while charging, the charging stops and he gets the defense radius and strength that he has loaded at that time. He can apply this to allies and defenses.The shield lasts 80/100/120 seconds no matter how strongly charged. At the end of these 80/100/120 seconds, the shield will explode and nearby enemies will be knocked over only when it is fully charged. If you are not satisfied with the radius and strength of the shield, you have to hold the button for 3 seconds and you can use your shield as a projectile for enemies that are knocked back or you can pass it on to targets or allies.

3. Ability, Void Comet: Now he will concentrade engergy on the white body part. Effect: Press the key and the melee weapon is wrapped with Void Energy (15/17/19 seconds; up to 25), this increases the damage by 20/25/30%. Hold the key to collect the void energy, then fire a beam of void energy. The longer this is charged (min. 2sec; max 8sec), the stronger and longer it lasts (max. 10 seconds). If the first and second ability are active, you get a heat effect (first ability) and a cold effect (second ability). If you use it to kill enemies, their life energy (not the stats, only in a metaphorical way) is converted into void energy. (PS.I called it Void Comet because a comet's tail always glows white and the void energy is also white)

4. Ability, Celestial Impact: All of your existing void energy is used to temporarily restore the shell of Cometes as well as the melee weapon from Sol, Soldris and the primary weapon from Luna, Lunaris. This weapons ar his excalted weapons. If you have a hundred percent you can use the mode for 100 seconds (1% = 1 second; minimum is 50%). Soldris is a two handed nikana (heat damage), that will send out Flames (like Excaliburs excalted blade but with 100% heat damage) and Lunaris a fast Long Bow (like Daikyu and cold damage) the arrows go 100% through each enemy and are only stopped on walls). In this form, he has no access to his other skills. However, he has a 50/60/70% (90% with mods) damage reduction and 60/70/80% more damage from his weapons, as well as his maximum bonuses from his passive. If the mode is ended early, he gets back part of his void energy. By killing opponents, he also gets a part back (max. 25%), but only if the mode runs to the end.
 

The percentages would of course need to be tested to see if it is too strong or too unbalanced. I wish everyone the best of luck and of course hope that mine will be taken

Hi!

The idea is for a for like a 'Queen bee' Warframe, using drones to achieve what cannot be done alone.

If I could draw I would have drawn it, but whatever, your Art team is probably better than what I could do. But the general asthetic is a female infested warframe, kind of like Nidus in aesthetic. This frame focuses on Support and Crowd control.

The theme I'm going for with this warframe, is warrior princess, leading an army of drones, and her passive obviously reflects this, fighting better in the thick of it with her allies, rather than on her own, allies fighting with her get 'morale' in the form of passive health regen, which I feel meshes with the infested aesthetic.

Similar to the other infested frame, Nidus, this warframe has no shielding, sporting her unique armour mechanic to compensate, so be generous!

Passive:
Warrior Princess: Gain X armour for each allied unit within Y meters of you, additionally allied units within Y meters of you gain a mild amount of Health regeneration.

Ability 1: 
Construct Hive:
After a brief channel time the Warframe, summons a infested hive to the battlefield. The infested hive lasts indefinitely, but can be destroyed with sustained fire, or when a new hive is created over the capacity of 6. There are 3 different Hive types, which can be toggled similar to Wisp or Ivara.

Healing Hive: Spawns healing maggots that latch onto allied units and structures, increasing their armour by 'X' and healing them 'X'/second
Defensive Hive: Spawns infested 'brutes' that have increased HP and threat, their attacks to little damage but have a chance to knock enemies prone.
Attack Hive: Spawns Offensive wasps, That harass enemies with a chance to do a viral proc, explode on death dealing toxin damage with a x% proc chance. 

Ability Strength increases drone number (Hives will spawn drones up to the individual hive capacity, spawning a new drone every x seconds if not at that capacity)
Ability Range increases Hive area of control, Drones will only linger around their respective hives, and only do their respective jobs when enemies or allies enter that respective area.
Ability Duration increases Hive HP, and Drone HP.
Ability efficiency, lowers the cost of 'Construct Hive'

Ability 2:
Attack Order.

Command your drones to assault the target location. Your nearby drones (Dictated by ability range) will respond to your call, gaining increased damage and proc chance (based on power strength) and rush to the area, fighting for x/seconds (dictated by ability duration) before finally exploding when the ability expires.

Ability strength increases the damage increase your summoned drones get, and the damage of their death explosion
Ability range increases the range in which you can summon drones from.
Ability duration increases how long they will fight before dying.
Ability efficiency decreases how much this ability costs.

Ability 3:
Create Domain

Command your drones to turn an area you designate into an area better befitting of royalty. Convert a large area (Based on ability range) into 'infested' terrain, granting you, your drones, and your allies, increased movement speed, while hindering your enemies, slowing them and periodically sticking them in place (think getting your shoes stuck in mud). You can have 3 of these 'Domains' at once.

Ability strength increases slow strength
Ability range increases area covered
Ability duration increases duration
Ability efficiency decreases this ability's cost.

Ability 4
Royal escort

Summon a handful of drones to better protect your excellence. You summon X amount of each type of drone (basically you function as a 'hive' but all three at once, but less of each.) You will summon new drones as they are defeated in combat.

Healer drones will spawn stuck on you, drones will otherwise get increased speed to better keep up with the player, perhaps getting a buffed up model for their status.

Ability strength, only increases the damage done by the drones.
Ability Range, either does nothing or increases the range these drones will engage foes in combat (Dev's choice, lmao)
Ability duration increases how long this ability lasts, as well as the health of each drone.
Ability efficiency decreases how much this ability costs.


Thanks for taking the time to read this- I think warframe could use a cool bug-themed frame, we've got magicians, fairies, and the like- but not the very real insects being represented, and eusocial insects and the infestation are so similar I can see it working.

Bonus points if the warframe summons like bug wings when she 'rolls' in a direction, instead dashing like wisp- really run the bug aesthetic home :D

Has standard hp , armor ,shield and movement speed.

Has high energy pool.(like 1000 max energy maybe).

passive: using one of his ability dains all his energy but the amount of energy used to cast his ability gives x amount of stats for his abilities.

x=0.25*energy cost

1st ability: ability activation area is around the warframe forming a ring of hardened tendrills comming out of his body (ability name: Broken bone )-when casted tendrills on his body becomes hard and breaks off to shoot all around him in a ring that impales enemies. Enemies hit by it (max amount of enemy that can be impaled=1) are rooted to the ground stoping their movement but can still fire their guns and use melee to attack if any warframe is close enough, if the enemy is killed while rooted then makes a stationary area of effect where when the warframe steps in and out recieves +100 amount of energy, and when allies get in they get +50 amount of energy.From each area of effect energy can be recieved only twice, once for entering and once for exiting, after providing energy area disapears and if no warframe steps in then after 5 sec it disapears. [tendrills shooting outward count =10]. [Duration while the enemy is not dead and damage from tendrills is modable but energy recieved amount is not affected buy strength mods].

 

2nd ability : ability activation area is in a cone shape towards pointing direction, (ability name: Broken shield)- when casted provides a shield that gives status and damage immunity,shield starts to break everytime it takes a hit (after hit count 10 shield breaks), ability can not be casted while the shield is active and any previously recieved buffs from this ability will be removed when the shield is casted again. Ally who's shield is broken gets enraged status ->> +x% damage boost to all weapons and abilities and +x% attack speed boost but they take +x% more damage from any source.castable on ally and self.  [duration of buff modable,range modable, power strength not modable]

 

3rd ability: (ability name: Broken body) ,when casted recieves a meter (like name:broken body meter) which goes up when any damage is taken. when meter is filled  warframe takes increased damage and looses 1% of its armor for every second the meter is at full capacity but from the moment the meter hits its max capacity a shockwave is released which applies heavy stagger on any enemies in close proximity of about 10 meters(fixed range) can be casted again to empty the meter which creates a stationary area of effect of 40 meter range(fixed range) in which enemies are slowed by x% for 1 sec and from then onwards slowly regains their natural behaviour speed , (base duration of slow field effect 15sec) after 15 sec the field disapears and aplies a shockwave pulling in enemies towards the warframe if the warframe was inside the slow field else no second shockwave is applied. can not be casted again untill the slow field is gone.

 

4th ability: Exalted two-handed nikana(ability name: Mind breaker) a special kind of two handed nikana which is made up of 10 parts which are detached when a "Special move" is performed, Special move ->> in bullet jump while pointing at an enemy if melee attack is issued then the one part of nikana is broken off and shoots towards the enemy impaling it, enemies which are impaled begin to take bleeding damage equal to 2% of their max health every 0.5 sec . impaled enemies loose their mind and start firing on its allies untill it dies from bleed or is killed. special move can be performed upto 10 times and when heavy slam attack is performed to the broken parts are called back which caused the impaled enemies to explode killing them. Enemies that are status immune when "Special move" is performed on them he throws the weapon at them rooting them at their position for 5 sec and simultaneously leaping on them to deal heavy critical damage. Ability costs no energy to cast but begins to drain energy increasingly. For every 100 energy spent in exaled mode gain +15% critical chance and +0.2 critical damage bonus stat for the weapon.

Passive: If [warframe] is ADSing while on the ground, bullets and/or projectiles pass through without inflicting damage. Bullets/projectiles that phase through can still damage others.

ALL ABILITY NAMES ARE WRITTEN IN EITHER TENNO, CORPUS, OR GRINEER LANGUAGE, INTERCHANGING EVERY CHARACTER OF THE NAME.

Ability 1, /unstuck: Teleport [warframe] to a random area in a radius around itself. The area is limited to places the /unstuck command would put a player if the command is used.
Ability 2, Technical Support: Enemies around you and a target ally become Digital Extreme's technically support staff and they attempt to patch fix you. Target an ally with this ability (or just cast it if you want). Enemies around that ally and [warframe] when the ability is cast will change targets and try to find [warframe] and are unable to attack another target until the ability countdown ends or [warframe] is killed or the affected enemies are killed. Affected enemies are ONLY able to attack [warframe].
Ability 3, Hotfix: If the effects of Technical Support are still active, this ability requires additional energy usage. [warframe]'s passive is disabled while Hotfix is being used. Hotfix is an energy per second ability with a timer. While Hotfix is active, if an enemy inflicts any amount of damage on [warframe], the enemy will receive a "red text mark." If an enemy with a "red text mark" is killed, [warframe] OR an ally within a certain radius of [warframe] will receive a random buff. If there is no ally in the radius, [warframe] receives the buff. The buff varies by how many "red text marks" the target has. If the target has between 1 and 10 marks, the buff is a movement speed boost. If the target has between 11 and 20 marks the buff is an increase to all damage sources. If the target has between 21 and 30 marks, the buff is a flat damage reflection of 75%. If the target has 31+ marks, the buff is invincibility.


I actually had two ideas for this. Here you go.

Ability 4, Ultimate Rewrite: All enemies in a HUGE radius of [warframe] have their elemental weakness changed to whatever [warframe] sets it to.

Second idea: [warframe]'s fourth ability becomes a random fourth ability of a random warframe the player has mastered.

Passive: when shields are broken gain 30% damage reduction

Movement speed 

And attack speed for 5 seconds

1:fracture: break the ground in a radius around the warframe causing enemies to fall over and take increased damage

2:laid bare: strip targeted enemies of all resistances (including armor) for a set duration

3:void pulse: release a draining pulse around the warframe and add 5% resistance to each damage type for every enemy affected

4:crowded rage: remember the anger of all the frames that comprise you. Pull enemies towards you gain movement speed and melee damage. Also gain a sentient sword weapon which inflicts every damage status type.

1. Control: you attach to an enemy for 10 seconds and wont be attacked, 2. Graple arm: Like Valkyries whip but when you pull enemy you steal their sheilds, 3. Devistation: The warframe explodes into shrapnel, 4(If there is one) Because its made from other parts it can use powers like excal sword or valk claws or mesas guns or any other ability

Breaking containers: (or being near broken containers) Give small buff to armor

Buff 1: Pao: Fires off right fist which CC's enemy (Holds in air, or on ground), If the enemy is killed while the fist is active on them +1 fists to use for this ability. (it takes their new fist from the enemy.)
Buff 2: Shin Block: Takes off Left leg and uses as shield (Think Baruuk Cone Damage reduction) absorbs Bullets, and Melee Weapons that hit the leg for extra armor to war-frame.
Buff 3: Tendril: (Toggle) Uses void tentacles to immobilize and damage all nearby enemies with void damage. (resetting Sentient resistances 1 for every second in this state.) Has no armor in this state.
Buff 4: Broken Storm: All parts fly off the frame create a zone of flying pieces, which damage enemies with impact damage in the zone, and giving the war-frame Damage reduction, damage and range and damage reduction, are based on how many containers or loot have been built up by passive.
