"I don't know whether war is an interlude during peace, or peace is an interlude during war."
   - Georges Clemenceau

The Tenno were created by coincidence, but shaped into fine instruments of Orokin military. But even after their Empire went with the wind, the Tenno remained. What will become of them, when the dust of the New War settles, without their Lotus? It's reasonable to think in-lore and player-wise that not everyone will agree ideologically on what a system with Void demi-gods should do, (hence why Syndicates exist), so inevitably, they would be divided in the battlefield as well.

SOLAR RAILS REDONE:

If you have access to both a Dry Dock and a Orokin Lab, Little Duck will give you the alternative to board into limited-time Rail Smuggling missions (giving sense to the name Railjack, finally). You'll be tasked with heavy Grineer/Corpus resistance, expected to die at least once. But, completing them will net you extremely valuable bounties, from 5-digit credit numbers to a Orokin Catalyst. You have to be quick, however, as Smuggling Contracts have limited time to complete and a limited number of Tenno who can undergo the peril.

  • New Railjack mission type: Smuggler Contracts

A three-stage Railjack Bounty that will have you stealing valuable assets from Corpus or Grineer.

  1. Hit-and-run: Intercept the cargo ship travelling through inter-planetary space. Cy will aid Gunners and Engineers through the process of interrupting their path, and once stopped, you must hold off the escort ships as one Tenno gets inside the ship and looks for their mark. Sometimes, the item of interest will be too large for a pair of hands, in which case the infiltrated Tenno will have to eject the cargo into open space, so the Railjack crew can nab it and escape.
  2. Cover your tracks: The Railjack will make a pit-stop on the nearest planet, so that Cephalon Cy can wipe anything that links the stolen cargo back to you. In the meantime, Little Duck will guide you through a brief Sabotage/Mobile Defense/Spy Mission to collect some Corpus/Grineer data, and doctor it so higher-ups remain oblivious of their missing stuff. By the time you're done, the Railjack will be ready for you to bolt out again.
  3. The deal: Wait for your buyer to show up, either by Void Jumping in, or you approaching a Relay. If you're lucky, you'll be able to haggle (dialogue options) any extra price or loot for it. If you're unlucky, the deal will turn out to be an Ambush, and you'll have to hold off fighters while a Engineer gets down and disposes of the cargo.

Like Bounties/Skirmishes, every completed stage will show you the reward you are playing for, however, this mission must be played all the way. Losing an objective will forfeit the majority of your rewards.

SYNDICATE WARS:

Not everyone agrees on what is best for the Origin System, Tenno. High time you picked sides. And remember, no regrets.

  • New Mechanic: Orokin Discoveries

Every now and then, (monthly? bi-monthly? every new Prime Unvaulting?) scouts and explorers will find valuable artifacts, meaningful to all the Syndicates for diverse reasons. Maybe you wish to help Steel Meridian reverse-engineer the apparatus, or maybe you desire to aid New Loka in destroying the blasphemy before it unleashes something terrible. Regardless, a percentage chart will show on the Star... Chart, when a new Discovery is active. It will display, in percentages how close a Syndicate is to securing the artifact. To aid your Syndicate of choice, you must fight in their related missions, as well as PvP Crossfire missions, that will pitch you against a 4-player Squad for an opposing Syndicate. Don't think it's like The Conclave, however! Kills mean nothing if your Squad fails to complete the objective. Once secured, the Syndicate will reward you dearly for your success... or pay you a consolation prize for your attempt.

  • Syndicate-Rail Conflicts

Whenever the System is in relative calm, your supported Syndicate will still gladly take all the help you can give them. If you have access to a Dry Dock, you can drop into an opposing Syndicate's Squad to make things difficult (Limited to 2-player invasion, however). You will spawn in accompanied by a Killsquad to support you, and killing a hunted player once is enough to leave and claim a reward. If you have a Orokin Lab, you can build a Solar Rail and hire NPCs to plunge into Dark Sectors for incredibly perilous missions, but that in the end will support you, your Clan, or your Syndicate.

  • (Side Note: NPCs can be assigned to normal Dark Sector missions as well if you don't wish to start a quarrel, or you can go in yourself if you have a functioning Rail and a Railjack at your service.)

Syndicates understand, however, reasons of greater power, (ex.: Scarlet Spear), and if necessary, a Truce (basically Armstice) will be called until the common threat is dispelled.

--------------------------------

So yeah, those are ideas that would certainly help making Warframe's gameplay deeper without adding a new "island". It also gives players an incentive to keep coming back, even if it's on the same level as a soccer team. Might update this thread if it doesn't get locked or something.

I don't want pvp

You could just not participate, instead sending NPCs into Dark Sectors... or just do the Smuggling Contracts. The focus of this concept is merely making a interesting PvP alternative, not forcing people to use it.

Agree - guys does anybody know if DE is planing to remove these Solar rail and regiments resreach from Dojo or to exchange it for something else istead if having it there impossible to progress with clan lvl-up ? As it could be done only by earlier clans which started game much earlier when solar rail were active.

Thx for answer.

No idea, they haven't adressed it in past streams. Maybe it's time to remind in the forums that exists? I hope they do something with that, I really do.

No it's good.  I just thought it was funny because i always joke about the game dying

Ahhhh, lmao

Well unless the story leads up to the Tenno going back into stasis for a New Game +, this is kinda the direction it could take
